I'm so glad I discovered this cute boba shop in the neighborhood! There was a snow storm when we visited but that didn't stop us from celebrating Tulip's Tea Turning Two! The shop owner was so sweet, helpful and overall seemed very grateful for us stopping in. At the time of our visit, the business was offering a buy one, get one half price deal so it was the perfect time for us to try their drinks. I ordered the black sesame and ube boba and my bf had the caramel banana. Both drinks were so yummy and satisfied our sweet tooth carvings on a snowy day. This was such an unexpectedly refreshing experience! As someone who has spent ten-plus years combined in customer-facing roles, I know firsthand how hard it is to remain positive and cheerful. The woman working behind the counter at Tulips Tea was a brilliant ray of sunshine. She was incredibly friendly, kind, welcoming, positive, and enthusiastic--the kind of customer service I don't recall having received in an obscenely long time. The tea was very good as well! I ordered a Caramel Thai Milk Tea, iced. It had present, delectable, Thai tea notes, as well as sweetness and richness from the caramel. It was also well balanced, without being an overload of milk or sugar. I got this one with boba, of course; which was high-quality too. Finally, the vibe inside is cute! It is a smaller space, so there isn't a tremendous amount of seating. Now, while the tea wasn't completely mind blowing, it was still excellent! A fantastic place for coffee, bubble tea, and more! The owner provides the best service I've ever had. She is incredibly outgoing, will literally run over to help hold the door open, and make sure you have what you need. More people need to know about this place. I've had a few different drinks but my favorites are the Iced Strawberry Hojicha Latte and the Iced Cinnamon Banana Caramel Latte. The inside is very cute, well kept, and am pretty sure they host little events. Not too many chairs, but enough for a small group if you want to stay for a bit. read more

This is a fun place! They will energetically take your order and make your delicious tea. They are too friendly! There are a few seats, if you want to drink in. It's a comfortable place.
