DO NOT BUY! I usually don't write reviews like this but wow, I wish I had listened to the few other one star reviews that are out there. So frustrated with our experience with both the product and this company for numerous reasons, let me count the ways... First - they shipped the spa via a local drop-ship provider. When the delivery driver arrived, it was a young man by himself. No forklift. No means or ideas for how to off-load the spa. Thankfully we had a neighbor who had contractors doing work on their yard and they just happened to have a back-hoe with a forklift attachment. Next up there was a severe gash along the lid of the tub. I made sure to take pics of this while still in the truck. Now, the company ultimately took care of this in a sense by sending a new lid, but there was a lot of back and forth to make this happen. If only that was the worst of it though... More problematic is that the tub has had constant challenges staying at a decent temp. In the 4 winter months that we've owned it, we've been able to use it for maybe about two weeks on the warmest of days/weeks. We live in upstate NY and were told on numerous occasions that this tub could handle cold weather, not to mention many YouTube videos attesting to this. We've gone back and forth with the company to try to address this to no avail. The first major issue is that the spa was sent out locked in economy mode. After repeated calls to our main contact, Travis, we finally figured out that this was the problem and in fact is now happening with all of their units sent out from Phoenix. Now, maybe this was an honest mistake (like the dropship issue), but we had the spa plugged in using power but basically useless for nearly a month. So now that we're no longer in economy mode, it sometimes gets to 104 & is usable, yay! But if ever the temps dropped below freezing we'd have the temp of the spa drop 6-10 degrees in half an hour of use. Then could take days to heat up to 104 again. They've sent more insulation, barely helped. We've unplugged and reset the spa numerous times. This does seem to help on occasion, but why are we having to do this in the first place. Now about a month ago they finally hired a local service person to come take a look at it (this should have happened within weeks). He ended up replacing the main control unit and the control pad. And it hasn't been usable since. It made it up to 92 at one point, but usually stays in the 80s. I'm so glad we paid +$6k for an outdoor luke-warm bath tub!

Although my contract includes "Setup", the company has no idea what that is and has no staff available to routinely provide this service.

We purchased an Atera Anytemp Swim Spa back in September and simply could not be happier! From the…read moremoment we had it delivered Josh, Cindy and Chuck have been attentive to any questions that have come up, and their customer service is one of the best I have ever encountered. I was a bit nervous pulling the trigger on a swim spa since they are rather costly and there are so many variations on the market, so being able to test swim in their show room was really helpful when the time came to make a call... I am so glad we went with the 3 river jet model and added the chiller! It's so nice having the luxury of pumping our pool up to 103/104 for the weekend and then easily bringing it back down for swimming laps during the week. I was also somewhat hesitant with using only an enzyme treatment and no chemicals since I had never really heard of it before, but I can say after 3 months my water is still clear, smells good and have not had any need for toxic chemicals to keep it that way! If anyone ever has questions about my review or in general, I'd be glad to respond via email knowing how nerve racking the process of searching and deciding on which swim spa to buy can be... Thanks again Josh, Cindy and Chuck! My wife and I swim EVERY day and can't imagine what life was like before we had our Anytemp Swim Spa. The spas are not made in AZ and have not been manufactured in AZ for over a year. Do not make the mistake we did! The spa was delivered in 5 months instead of 8 weeks. The tub remains inoperable 14 months later as it was not built to spec and trips a 60 amp breaker consistently. The color is wrong but the correct panels have not been received in 14 months. Apparently this used to be a family run business with a great reputation. LPI 's quality has been so negligent we are now pursuing a consumer complaint with the Tennessee Attorney General's Office.

I had a terrible experience with Sedona Spas and owner Ross Herman. My 5-year-old spa developed a…read morestructural crack, which independent inspectors, including a licensed contractor, attributed to poor installation and a lack of proper foundational support. Despite our findings, Ross Herman repeatedly dismissed it as a "surface crack." He then blamed the issue on our pre-existing pergola and water drainage system, which were in place prior to installation and never flagged as a problem. I was particularly concerned to learn that Arizona law requires an ROC license for projects of this size, which Sedona Spas lacked at the time of our installation. I filed a complaint with the ROC, which resulted in a warning letter being sent to the owner. The advertised 20-year shell structure warranty was also misleading; the actual warranty is prorated and very limited. As our spa's structure is compromised and must be removed, I have requested a refund four times, but have been denied. This is the worst product and service experience I have ever had."

The entire project ran like clockwork. The planning and execution was seamless. Your work crews are craftsmen, very skilled and meticulous. Gary, the project started with your creative design. You listened very closely to what features we wanted and you incorporated those ideas into a masterpiece we now proudly call our backyard. Throughout the project, your team was very responsive to any concerns or questions we had. As our daily point of contact, Mike was wonderful to work with. To say that you and your staff went beyond our wildest dreams in the quality of work and customer service would be an understatement. Our backyard project also included a spa built and installed by your company, Spas by Design. The quality of your spa is untouchable. Also, I can't say enough about Bob Campo, your sales manager. When, as new spa owners, we were having some concerns about how to maintain the proper water quality, he came right over to help with a big smile and words of encouragement. Gary, this is what we learned about you during our backyard project. You LOVE your work. You're very good at it. You run your company with integrity. Your word is golden. We can't thank you enough! John and Cindy Kennedy from Cave Creek:…read more We decided several years ago to install a swimming pool, but were usure of the design we wanted or what the layout of our backyard would be. So we had the luxury of time and hosted at least 10 pool companies to our home to solicit pool designs, and bids. Our very last bid was SATURN POOLS owned by Nathan Green. Rarely do you expect a major construction project to complete without some issues or problems. In this build, the rarity occurred. From start to finish the build process was flawless, and the end result was a custom pool designed by Nathan Green based on a concept my wife related to him that he conceptualized for us. Our pool has literally taken our breath away and our custom designed water feature has become the envy of several neighbors (custom designed by Nathan Green). Quality, craftmanship, and materials were all top quality right down to the standard tile selections we opted for (would have been upgrades with any other company). So here are my takeaways from Saturn Pools and Nathan Green: 1. Saturn pools is what I would refer to as a low volume "boutique" pool company. The focus is not to build 1000 pools in a year, rather my observation is more that Saturn wants to build XX number of high quality pools. There was no high pressure process. Nathan presented his idea, we assessed it, and ultimately went with it. 2. Saturn pools does not weigh the pricing down with pool salesman fees, or additional fees for contractors to pad the bottom line etc. From start to finish you deal with one man, Nathan Green, the owner. He designs the pool, is the project manager for the build, and shows up on the job site regularly to check on the work being performed. It was not out of the ordinary to see him actually out there with a shovel himself. Hands on owner-I liked that. 3. Nathan was approachable, and always either a text message, email, or phone call away. When I came up with looney ideas that I thought would be great add-ons, he politely told me the pros and cons to my idea, and the reasoning behind his thoughts. He also would incorporate an idea if he thought it was beneficial for me. So he helped me not make mistakes he knew I would regret later during my pool ownership. 4. Saturn Pools/Nathan Green also, in my observation, cherry picked the contractors he used. I actually spoke at length to the excavator who was not only courteous, but wanted me aware and informed as to what he was doing-they hit granite so it was a hard dig. I had no idea what it was, but he took me outside and clearly I could see what he was talking about. The tile setter was focused, and the decking crew didn't mess around-they got it done, and were very good in their quality. So my summation on that is that you aren't getting a 1000 pool per year company grab anyone you can to be a sub-contractor. Rather, with Nathan you're getting his preferred contracting crews, crews he has established reciprocal business relationships with that he trusts. 5. Professionalism and customer treatment-outstanding. Nathan never pressured me for money up front etc. Rather there were pay points associated with each phase of the build. He or his office would reach out to me and let me know the amount of the payment needed. Easy Peezy! So in summary, if I moved and had to build another pool, the only company I would reach out to would be Saturn Pools and Nathan Green and forgo alternate pool companies. I highly recommend Saturn Pools as a builder, and again, the process was flawless from start to finish. As I said before, the quality and materials I gained by using Saturn Pools easily would have cost me $20,000 more due to commissions and added fees the larger cookie cutter companies upcharge for. So not only did I get a value (still wasn't cheap) but I got more for my money. Keep in mind this is a small local company so it takes a little more time to build-not much more, but you'll be happy if you opt for Saturn as your pool builder. Best wishes in your pool hunt, John and Cindy Kennedy

Prior to our move, I contacted several pool companies to get an idea of cost and time to build. Only a few made a personal visit to assess the size and layout of our yard, and others didn't return my calls or emails. Friends of ours were very pleased with their pool, built by Saturn Pools, so we decided to reach out to the owner, Nate Green. At our first meeting, we knew that Saturn Pools was the one for us. Pricing was right in line with other estimates, and the payment points were transparent and as quoted. Nate guided us in every aspect of our pool design, features, budget and estimated time of completion, which ultimately came out to be ahead of schedule. He directed us appropriately if a design or feature would not be cost effective in the long term. His communication through the entire build was excellent, and he was always available and responsive to any questions, even months after our pool was completed. Nate was regularly on-site to make sure that all work was completed to his specifications. We are thrilled with our new pool, and have received many compliments and requests for the name of the pool builder. We have friends who are using Saturn Pools based upon our recommendation, and they are equally happy with their choice. Nate Green with Saturn Pools is a man of integrity, experience, and customer service that excells. He makes sure his company provides the best quality pool at the best price. We highly recommend Saturn Pools for your pool build.
