We truly love supporting local small businesses whenever possible because, in our experience, small business owners are usually passionate about their work and provide outstanding customer service. Unfortunately, that was not our experience with Johnny's. In fact, it was quite the opposite. Honestly, I wish we had read the reviews before making our $20,000 purchase. The entire experience became an absolute nightmare. Without exaggeration, we dealt with: * 8 (YES, EIGHT!) no-shows -- meaning we planned entire days around their scheduled visits, only to receive no call, no text, no update, and no respect for our time. We always had to be the ones to reach out just to find out they were not coming. * 1 scheduled visit where they actually notified us they would not make it and needed to reschedule. Sad to say, that felt like a win considering the circumstances. * Countless unanswered calls and texts, along with at least 10 promises that were never fulfilled. * An improperly installed electrical component that could have become extremely dangerous. We ultimately had to recommend and involve our own licensed electrician to ensure the work was completed safely and correctly. * 4 missing pieces/items which were ultimately installed after a very long and painful process. * A complete disregard for the customer's time, money, and overall experience. Unfortunately, once payment was received, customer service and accountability seemed to disappear entirely. I will say the office staff were always kind and pleasant to deal with, but they also seemed powerless when it came to actually resolving the issues. I genuinely hope Johnny's can improve their communication, reliability, and customer service because those things matter just as much as the product itself.

Cons: - Does not come with door bolts - They have very poor workmanship, bent nails everywhere, staples sticking through walls ready to poke you.. - Doors would not close, so they just hammer the 2x4 until it barely fits.. after 2 days, the doors would not close at all.. - They never answer phone calls or texts!! - I finally called the other location to eventually get a call back.. that was 3 weeks ago.. I am still waiting for doors to be fixed - Door framing is terrible and doors are warped and does not seal.. I eventually got out my circular saw and fixed the doors myself.. Also added additional 2x4 wood pieces to get the door un-warped.. All in all, good value for money IF you can fix the screw ups yourself after the fact... They will NEVER call you back, but if you are handy.. thats OK..
