The seasonal section wasn't too bad but the clothing department. It was bad. Everything there seemed extremely old and dated but the prices weren't even that cheap. There weren't a lot of great brands to boast about either. Looking at the accessory section and shoe section was worse. Basically empty. The store was honestly sad to shop in. There were a handful of employees around, all who seemed nice. This store seemed a bit drab as well. Walking into this location vs Jenkintown would make you think this is an entirely different retail chain with how different it is. The housewares section was a bit messy as well. The rest of the store pretty well maintained. Overall I'd say pass on this location and hit up the other locations. This one will more than likely disappoint.

I always look quickly through the book section and usually manage to come away with something. My only quibble is that the type of stickers they use really take some doing to come off of books, and often leave a mark. Otherwise, the deals are not as apparent as you're led to believe. A bit like the Costco model: a few big deals to bring you in, and everything else is regular-priced or higher. Don't get suckered...find your deal and get going.

There's bedding, some electronics, housewares, a pretty large book section, and a lot more. I found some great savings in the non-perishable food section. Probably can save between $2-$3 per item depending on what you need. That can really add up to big savings if you buy 10 or 20 items. One of the things that's a bit more interesting about Ollie's is their "as seen on TV" section that has a lot of discounted, fun and quirky items - such as a night light for inside your toilet bowl.

I went to the KOP, the workers there were very sweet and called over to Pottstown to make sure they had the bag I was looking for. When I got there, I was rushed out by a young female worker and her co worker (male)... they knew I was coming and I drove an hour and hit some traffic but I still had 10 minutes to shop. I asked about the deal (spend 150 get a free tote). When I asked her if that applies to me she said I'm not a member (she put my phone number in wrong). Then said that they don't have the mesh bags (they were sitting behind her. I could tell that since both workers were young, they just wanted to go home. Not wait 5 minutes for me to pick something else out (my total was 144) . I'm very sad and disappointed, I don't live close to the outlets so when I drive that long (and they knew I was coming) I expected just to not be rushed out of the door. Took the time out of my day to come back and return the bag since I didn't even get a second to look at any others. This isn't how the world used to operate.. especially nice stores like this... I'm really upset with how I was treated and I was not mean AT ALL. She just didn't want to wait for me and clearly had somewhere to go (she called her male co worker up front to hint we need to leave ).. I'm not mean spirited, I never even write reviews, but I felt like I needed to share this. The younger the workers, the less care.

Big Lots seems to be like a downscaled superstar but with a boosted focus on furniture…read more They have a section for bric-a-brac type stuff that cute and funny - kind of like "as seen on TV" items. I liked the pricing and quality for their home decor wall decorations. They also had some cute items for tableware items like bowls and cups. They have a lot of the standard department sections like home goods, bed wear, small kitchen devices, children's toys, pet's items, bathroom stuff, food, etc. There are some noticeable savings available for some items but most things in the store are pretty standard pricing - perhaps a bit higher than average. It seems like a good idea to visit their website or scope out their weekly circular savings for best savings. The store seemed pretty understaffed. There was one person at the checkout registers and she was very friendly but obviously swamped with people ready to pay for items. They should give her a raise and also hire an extra person for the registers.

I almost bought a couch there and decided to check Unclaimed Freight just in case and found a leather sectional that was just a few bucks (literally $7) more. Glad we checked! You'll want to check the expiration on some of the food items since they, though not expired, can tend to be a shorter shelf life than at a grocery store.

From the moment my friend and I entered the store, we were treated like valued customers. Jasmine, one of the sales associates, instantly made us comfortable and really listened to what we were looking for. Plus the stuff she picked out for us was an extra 25% off sale price, making my two pairs of black skinny jeans a steal for $30 for BOTH pairs! My friend also grabbed two pairs for a similar price (hers might have been a dollar or two higher) Jasmine was extremely personable and helpful, not pushy. I would definitely go back!

This place is better than I gave it credit for when it first opened. The selection of merchandise…read moreis pretty diverse, and the prices aren't terrible, but don't expect dollar store prices. The service varies, depending on who's on duty. It can range from the overzealous guy who tells you more than you want to know about anything, to being face to face with someone who looks like you just ran over their dog. In other words, it's on par with service anywhere else in 2026. Here's the thing though, and I really hope the company changes their pitch for the "crazy deals". I'm not a lawyer, I'm not giving legal advice, but: While in the store tonight, I heard an ad over the PA system saying you could buy children's clothes for free via the crazy deals. Spend $50, get your money back on a gift card. Yes - a Job Lot gift card. This does not equal free stuff. I get $50 worth of clothes, and a gift card I must spend there for $50. That's $100 worth of stuff for $50, or half off. The customer saves 50%, which when you look at the prices on the stuff you're buying via a Crazy Deal, seems only right, because those prices are inflated. So, before a horde of people figure this out and get a law firm involved, you might want to start telling the truth.
