Tucker's, always ridiculously busy especially on the weekends serves breakfast and lunch only. Stopped in on a Monday and, yes, they were busy. I've heard about their inventive eggs Benedict so I began there: choosing the Monterey with sliced avocado, pico de gallo, pulled chicken (a little bland)and a chipotle sauce. The eggs were poached perfectly, and the chipotle sauce was yummy. The English muffins couldn't stand up to all the toppings and were soggy. The fried potatoes were good but not great. The server was on her game: friendly and attentive stopping by several times to check on us. Two breakfasts with juice and one coffee was $35, a little on the pricey side but the food was solid and the service was far above average. While I'd not wait in the weekend lines, repeat visits during the week are in my future. read more

We gave this place one last try this morning for breakfast. Needless to say, we will not be returning. I specifically told the server that I had Celiac disease and that my gluten allergy was serious. Honestly amazed by the food, service, and atmosphere of Tucker's. Definitely my new favorite place for breakfast! As you walk in you are greeted by a hostess (that may I add was very professional) and a coffee bar that you can grab and get charged for at your table. The wait was about 20 minutes but considering how many people were waiting and the size of the building, it was a bad time to wait. Our server was very friendly and talkative. I started with a Pineapple Paradise smoothie with whey Protein. They offer many additives for the smoothies! For breakfast I had Apple Caramel French Toast and a side hash browns. The service is consistently stellar; everyone has been friendly, attentive, offers great suggestions, & makes us feel welcome. What more could you ask for? Their menu offers a great variety of options for breakfast and lunch, including daily and seasonal specials. They do their best to accommodate dietary restrictions/preferences. I have had trouble finding places recommended on Yelp so I try to include information to help you find places. This is on the edge of a big shopping center on the west side of the main road. Shaw's Supermarket is the anchor store and this is sandwiched between it and the road. The building is visible from the road but it may not be obvious you have to enter the shopping center to get to it. I seem to be in the minority in not liking this place so I should explain myself. It has its points but did not work for me. I arrived about 11:45 and while I had no wait for a table the place was already VERY noisy. I was glad I was alone as I could not carry on a conversation here, though obviously many were trying;-) Got greeted, seated, and coffeed right away!-) The coffee was excellent. I ordered The Club but asked for multigrain bread as I don't like sourdough. Big mistake. The price would have been very reasonable for a club sandwich but what I got was pretty small, and mostly bread. I would just call it a turkey sandwich on thick sliced bread. The bread was incredibly dry and toasting it had made it even drier. It was a real struggle to get it down. Service was generally pretty good except it took quite a while for the first coffee refill, which I really needed to eat this. Inside the sandwich looked reasonable with dark green lettuce (Yay!). But whatever was in there was pretty much lost in my struggle with the bread. There are a lot of places trying to upsell the local diner these days, but it takes more than green lettuce and multi-grain bread. The place does have a classier ambiance, but I left wishing I had stopped at the nearby Taco Bell instead. PS Clean, roomy restroom. read more

Doesn't look like much when you walk past it busy place but this place is vegan or vegetarian friendly. This place is so meat center. Pushing meet on a person when they ask for a substitute. It would of been a better experience if there were more vegetarian options and vegan options it 2021 stop living in the stone ages. Update the menu so that it not discriminating against the people who chose to be vegan or vegetarian. A lot people refer you to this place since there suppose to be quality food. Just stay away from this establishment if your vegetarian or vegan. There not much for you in this establishment. After eating there so call pancakes made from scratch didn't even taste like it was made from scratch. The pancakes had eggshells in it. Was very crunchy didn't have a good experience visiting this establishment the waiter was a bit snappy. They are not that accommodating. read more

What a great breakfast place! I will definitely return. I went there on Memorial Day morning and it was so popular there was a line out the door. Which was okay, since it was beautiful outside and I was really anxious to try out breakfast at Tuckers. It was worth the wait. The service was prompt and friendly, I really couldn't ask for anything more there. I ordered the Southwestern omelet with home fries and an english muffin. The omelet was a good size and delicious and the home fries were amazing. I've watched this location suffer over the years...multiple places have opened and closed in quick succession. I'm THRILLED to finally see something take root in this spot and appear to be doing well. Curious about it, I visited Tuckers over the weekend with some friends, and I wasn't disappointed! We went for breakfast on a Sunday late morning: in retrospect, probably one of the busiest times to go. But despite the crowd, the service was excellent, and the wait for food, once seated, was reasonable. I ordered the French Toast with a side of eggs and I was very happy with it. The plain French Toast is made with a Texas Toast-style bread, which means you get a significantly sized portion. The toast was cooked perfectly, not soggy or over cooked. They mix a bit of cinnamon and nutmeg (I believe) into their french toast batter, so be aware, it is sweeter than some versions. My eggs were cooked perfectly (over medium as requested). The coffee was great, and I love that you can get a cup of coffee while you wait - they have a small coffee bar in the entry way. Very smart move. I want to go back and hopefully visit during a less-busy time. Other than the crowd and wait, it was a great visit and I look forward to returning! read more

Tuckers came in and not only is a heck of a lot better than the used to be Burger King in it's place, ha...but, friendly service, fantastic food, and the use of the drive through window is a great perk. I've been fatefully eating at Tucker's for five years two to three times a month. One of my favorite things was their COUNTER because single people like me or a couple that didn't care could sit there and not wait a long time. I have NEVER waited more than 10 minutes to sit at their counter. I never got to eat a meal, because I left after waiting an hour for a single seat and I was told 45 minutes. For some godforsaken reason, they decided to remove the countertop and ONLY created one extra seat with the new configuration. I watched over 12 couples leave over the hour I waited to be seated because they were told 1.5 to two hours wait/ I heard one lady say and I agree with her, "it's breakfast, not a five-course meal". It's pretty clear to a few of us, that they decided it was better for them to cater more to the groups of people, then people like me. Even though, I go faithfully and make sure to tip their AWESOME wait staff well. It's bad enough dealing with people that call ahead, but now, no counter just makes it worse. Tucker's is a very busy place, but it is well worth the wait! The menu was different from most places, which was nice. The food was great; I had their Sausage Benny, and it was absolutely delish! There was one problem: It took an hour to get our food. Why? Well, our server kept coming by & saying: "Your food should be out soon", but come to find out, she never even put in our order. When she realized her mistake, the manager came over, apologized profusely, they comped our meals, and above and beyond that, they gave us each a card for $5 off our next meals. So although that was a huge mistake, it was appropriately rectified, so I left pleased! I would DEFINITELY go back there! read more
