I got the Spaghetti Al Limone with shrimp and it was so tasty. It had an amazing balance of citrus that didn't overpower the rest of the plate. We also sat outside and it was lovely. There were ceiling fans to help keep us cool. It was great to see lots of families there too. You know the restaurant really takes pride in being family friendly. So, if you're looking for a place to treat yourself and curb your pasta cravings, go check them

Otherwise, there is street parking nearby, especially as you get into the residential areas. They are a walk-in only restaurant, and if you're going during dinner hours, there is usually a wait. You can a text when it is your turn to be seated, and you are able to wander the neighborhood during the wait. It is close to Lake Harriet, so if you're looking for a way to kill time, you can walk towards the lake and sit on one of the benches! Once you're at Broder's, you're in for a treat! It is a sit-down restaurant that feels on the nicer end of casual. It'd be a good date night spot, but also is good for gathering with friends and family. They have plenty of good options, including some dairy-free, vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free items on their menu which is clearly labeled. The service is always friendly, and they're always attentive, even when it gets busy! They start you off with some free breads, and there is olive oil at the table which you can use with the bread. They have a good selection of wines, and some beer and non alcoholic beverages. If you like a sweet wine that tastes mostly like juice, I highly recommend their moscato d'asti! As for their food, they have so many good pastas, you can't really go wrong. They are able to accommodate some modifications! I think in the past, I've subbed for another pasta shape. I recently also ordered the Tagliarini di Locanda di Lupo without Proscuitto to be vegetarian-friendly! It was very cheesy and creamy, and truffle-forward, as expected! I had their Spaghetti Al Limone, which was nice and buttery and still felt light and fresh with the basil and lemon. I've been to Broder's several times throughout the years, and I enjoy it every time! I would recommend stopping!

The service made an already great dinner even better. Everything we ordered was delicious. The cacio e pepe ravioli was rich and perfectly done, the ribeye was cooked beautifully and the potato churros and chimichurri that came with it were incredible. The pork chop was another standout, and the grilled watermelon salad was such a unique combination of flavors and a perfect way to start the meal. Honestly, there wasn't a single thing we ordered that we wouldn't get again. Great atmosphere, great service, and seriously amazing food. Martina is absolutely worth a visit if you're in Minneapolis. We'll definitely be back!

Friendly staff, just a busy day I guess. This was my 2nd visit. I must say I enjoyed my first visit and meal more when I ordered the shrimp spaghetti. This time, I ordered the braised oxtail tagliatelle. It was good and the portion was generous. The potato churros appetizer was amazing! My friends enjoyed those more than their entrees unfortunately. One said the cacio e Pepe ravioli was underwhelming and the other felt the grilled salmon was decent.

Tasty and approved by my Italian hubby. Duck Confit (4/5) the duck was good, with some crispy skin and the crunchy and chewy spaetzle made it even better. Gelato (5/5) we chose the salted caramel flavor and it was divine. It was a little bit gritty but I loved the hint of texture. My fav part of the meal!

Walking into the venue, I noticed it was gorgeous, with lower lighting. It feels homey while also giving off a higher-end vibe. The bar looked beautiful and busy! We were greeted immediately and seated. Water was offered immediately, and our server was attentive and knowledgeable about the menu and wine. We started with a white wine and a red wine! Both were excellent choices and went well with the starters. The starter choices were arancini and ricotti fritters. I loved the richness of the ricotta fritters, but I was totally in love with the arancini balls! They were great with the spiciness of the surrounding pesto with serranos. It was a great combination. When we were done with our starters, they removed all silverware and brought out new ones for the main entree (I loved that, hate that for the restaurant with cleaning, but eh). Dinner was Tagliatelli, Tortelli, and Brasato! The pasta choices are either a 1/2 serving or a full. That was nice, especially if you wanted to try other items or had a primi and secondi choice! The Brasato was so flavorful, and the shallot was exceptional. I am not a vast polenta fan, but it mixed well with the wine sauce and the beef. I was able to try the Tagliatelle as well. It was a great al dente. It is homemade, so the noodles are thicker and cooked with a slight bite. It was wonderful. The Tortelli, my daughter stated, was excellent, and she loved every bite. Dessert time! We had a fantastic full-bodied espresso, the hazelnut torte, and an affagato! No one left hungry, and the evening was a blast. PROS: Great atmosphere, romantic if you have a date night The food was on point, and the flavors were amazing Great service The bar service and bar area were great; stop in Knowledgeable staff with the menu and drinks CONS: Parking can be difficult
