3.5/5. I recently got back from a trip to Vietnam so I'm a pretty tough Vietnamese cuisine critic at the moment. I came in on a very busy day of the year so am rounding up since the staff was working really hard to get orders out the door. I ordered a large chicken pho and roasted pork fresh spring rolls to go. The portion of pho broth and bean sprouts was great, but the amount of chicken was a bit disappointing (about 6 total pieces of shredded chicken). Broth was just ok, I added quite a bit of sriracha, lime, basil, and hoisin sauce and still felt it lacked some flavor. The spring roll portion size was great and I loved the massive serving of peanut sauce. The roasted pork inside was incredibly dry. I'd probably opt for tofu or shrimp next time.
My wife and I were in Broomfield area and decided to check out Tu's Kitchen for lunch. The ambiance was nice. Place looks clean. My wife as the waiter if they have any Gluten Free options, but the waiter didn't really know. He went back to the kitchen and another gentleman came out to talk to my wife about the gluten free options they have. I thought their menu selection was pretty good. A little bit on the pricey side, but they do have lunch specials. My wife ordered the chicken stir fry lunch special. I ordered the Special Rice plate with four types of meat. My wife enjoyed her food and I enjoyed mine. Both dishes were delicious. We were impressed with the portion size of our food. They were huge portions. The service was okay. I thought our waiter was attentive. He checked on us a couple of times and make sure our drinks were filled. We would definitely come back here again for lunch or dinner.
Order to a minimum staff warns as portions are huge and overwhelming for any appetite. Flavor is savory and appetizing. Staff and management is very attentive and friendly. Dining area is filled with aroma of authentic Vietnamese cuisine further supported by the heritage filled interior. Definitely off the major hustle bustle of near by Flatirons Mall but definitely worth the turn to this hidden gem. This place is more than just another option for PHO as the menu is packed with an abundance of alternative and weather accommodating options. Definitely a top 3 for PHO or any other Vietnamese cuisine. Management and Staff make the dining experience memorable from the moment you step through the door. And an added bonus if visiting for a special occasion.
Great variety of Vietnamese dishes. I ordered the shrimp noodle bowl and it was delicious. The staff were friendly and recommended a few options for us. They have good lunch specials too.
The menu is super vast... therefore the food wasn't quite as true and flavorful as it should. I was a little confused about what I was eating to be honest! The soup was not what it tasted like.. disappointed and won't be back!
Well well well, we stopped for a day in the Denver area for biscuits and this will be the reason we stop in Denver again. I can't say enough lovely things
it was pretty good but when we walked in and took a seat to look over the menu for take out, this dude keeps asking every 2 mins. "Ready?!?!?" If I'm ready, I'll let you know I'm ready. Geez!! And they write the order in vietnamese so when I get a receipt, it's the cc receipt that doesn't detail what I bought. I asked the dude for the vietnamese itemized thing for my expense purposes. Kinda weird ask me what for. Food was pretty good but the dude seem always in a rush but it's not that busy.. calm daafk down yo!
Tu's Kitchen is an up and coming Vietnamese restaurant in the Broomfield area, and I would say that of the restaurants located here, it is pretty solid! We decided to swing by Tu's Kitchen on a Friday night around 7pm and were seated promptly for three people. The parking situation is open and easy as it is located in a big shopping plaza near the Great Wall Asian market. Since there wasn't too many too many customers on the day we visited, service was relatively fast. Since Tu's was a new up and coming restaurant in the area, the owners were pretty generous on having us try new appetizers on the house - we were very grateful on this generosity on their part! Just a heads up, the menu is massive - there were probably 100+ things that you can order. We ordered a good variety of dishes to try out what Tu's Kitchen has to offer, which I'll review a couple down below: 31. Combination Rice Plate ($20): This is a very generous rice plate! It will definitely fill you up if you are looking for something hefty. The plate comes with several cuts of meat, some grilled shrimp, an egg, rice, and a small salad. The cuts of meat are seasoned well and tender, you can taste the barbecue/slight lemongrass flavor that usually comes with Vietnamese rice plates. One more thing was that it also came with some crispy spring rolls, which had decently flavored fish sauce in the filling. H. Rare Steak and Brisket Pho ($16 for large): I've had my fair share of Pho in the Broomfield area, and this pho is decent. The broth had a stronger black pepper taste than I'm usually used to for pho. Personal preference - though it was taste was good, I don't think I would go for the pho again here. But if this suits your tastes, go for it. Buddha's Delight ($13): For $13, you get a ton of vegetables, which is great. The sauce is a bit light on flavor, but come on - you probably order this dish to get your intake of vegetables. The vegetables are tender, not too soggy and not raw, and taste good with the coconut sauce. 4. Deep-Fried Pork Dumplings ($8): We actually got this appetizer on this house, which was very generous of the owner and we are very grateful. The dumplings were crispy and the filing was seasoned well. The sauce was advertised as sweet, and it does have a subtle sweet tangy taste. We spent around $75 for everything that you see here, which I think is a good price considering you get a very generous amount of food no matter what you order. I personally think that for this area, this is a very solid option for food. I would definitely like to revisit sometime to try the numerous other options on the menu!
Food was good but definitely will not be back due to the rude service; not sure if he was a part owner or what, but when we ask if we can order our appetizer first and main course later, he said no, because he is busy ( including our table, there was only two other table with 2 patrons at each table) . There is too many Vietnamese food options out there, you're not that special to be rude to your customer.
4.5 rating So far this is probably the best Pho Ive had in Colorado & Broomfield has a lot to choose from- a lot that ive tried. The place is small but nicer than most Vietnamese places. The meat in the Pho was very tender, it's definately the best I've had so far. As far as the broth goes, I can't decide which is my favorite between this place and one other- they are both really good. The price at this place is a little bit higher than most but I think it's worth it. Overall I'm really happy with this place, I'm glad I found it. This place is my new favorite & I look forward to further exploring their menu. The service is really good, they are really nice. I will definitely be back and I do recommend this place. Great food and friendly service! We went for an early dinner and it was not crowded which was great for us but I hope they get a lot more traffic during busy hours, because they need to stay open. The portions are huge, the food was delicious, and we left happy. Definitely would recommend and we will be back again! read more

Tu's stands out from the other pho shops on this corner for a couple reasons. First, the menu is more authentic. All the usuals are there (pho, bun, etc), but they also include more exotic choices like snails and jellyfish and frog legs. Everything we've had is absolutely delicious. Pho is solid, rich broth and great seasoning. Less cinnamon and anise then pho duy, but delicious. I had the salted fish and chicken fried rice today, it was amazing. Everyone is always super nice, portions are huge, and the place is clean and updated. Highly recommended. read more

We were looking for vegan friendly restaurants, on the north side of town, and found Tu's Kitchen Vietnamese Cuisine. Solid 5-star rating, but with just 19 reviews. So very glad we decided to give it a try; their food is amazing! With two pages worth of vegan options, it was wonderfully difficult to choose. We opted for the #96 Tofu Basket, # 111 Vegetable Hot Pot, and a non-vegan Egg Roll Bowl. All of them were exceptional! In addition to the restaurant being very clean and comfortable, the server and chef were both very gracious. We were impressed with the attention to details, such as slices of lemon in the glasses of water, the variety and quality of the vegetables, the amount of cashews and peanuts in our orders. The amount of food, with perfect amounts of sauces was impressive; we all took home leftovers enough for another meal. As if this wasn't enough, their prices are surprisingly low. So it's taking me a while to do a review I have been super busy. I came here last week with my family and wow the words escape my mouth this place was absolutely stupendous everything is pretty much served family style unless you get the single serve noodle bowls they are still scrambling a little bit to organize everything but the food is absolutely amazing and stunning and out of this world and I will use my one word that I say all the time and I have been saying it since the beginning my dish that I ordered was the vegetarian vegetables with shiitake mushrooms and the crispy noodles most places call it the bird's nest here I believe it was just called the crispy noodles on the plate or something like that sorry it alludes my mind at the moment but it was scrumdiddlyumptious and supercalifragilisticexpialidocious wow just wow you must come here and try this there are vegetarian menu is so expensive it is just amazing and they serve it fast and they are so friendly I recommend coming to this place like literally every day if I could afford it it is just perfect I have no complaints whatsoever and for me that is rare. So if you're looking for delicious food and for comfortable seating and to have nice conversation and have family food or just even for yourself just to get away from like busy life of the city come to this place it is absolutely perfect I went to the bathroom and it was nice and clean no weird smells that people usually smell in the bathroom it was just awesome that's all I can say five stars like 100% amazing totally amazing. read more

Nice restaurant with great service. Went in for lunch. Ordered one of the giant special spring roll appetizer platters. They were able to customize the protein selections to my liking which I thought was amazing service. My friend ordered a special rice platter that had everything on it! Seriously everything, including a fried egg! I liked the look of it so much that I ordered one to take home. Give this place a try! read more
