Hands down 10/10 -- highly recommend!! This place absolutely delivers! From the moment you walk in, the establishment, the experience, and the staff are all top-tier. My hair and scalp have never felt healthier... there is some seriously magical trickery happening here, and I am here for it and didn't want to leave, lol! I stopped by TT Head Spa on 3/24 after calling a few other salons that didn't answer, and I'm so glad I did. It's conveniently close to my house, though a bit tucked away, which makes it feel like a hidden gem. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by a woman who was incredibly kind, genuine, and welcoming something that honestly feels rare to find these days. Even without an appointment, she was able to get me in within about 30 minutes for a wash, cut, and style, which is almost unheard of with how most salons operate now. I'll admit, I came in not feeling very confident about my hair. I've had some rough experiences in the past, and my hair had been through a lot. I just knew the ends needed to go, but I didn't have much direction beyond that. The stylist (I wish I remembered her name) completely changed that for me. She was honest, but never pushy, she really listened. Instead of overcutting like some places do, she respected what I wanted while still guiding me on what my hair needed. I trusted her to remove the damaged ends and add some body to my very fine, straight hair and she did exactly that. I left feeling genuinely happy with my hair, which hasn't happened in a long time. The salon itself was also very clean and well-kept, and even though she mentioned missing some calls earlier, it was clear she truly values the clients who walk through the door and gives them her full attention. Overall, this was such a positive experience. It didn't cost an arm and a leg, I felt heard, and I left feeling confident again. I was really disappointed with my experience here. The staff arrived about 10 minutes late and were not welcoming or friendly. The entire appointment felt very rough and rushed instead of relaxing, which is the whole reason I booked a head spa in the first place. My scalp honestly felt sore afterward, and during the blow dry the lady was very rough almost smacking the brush to my head even after telling me i have a send scalp. She was even pulling out hair that appeared to still be stuck from another client. It felt very unhygienic and uncomfortable. Overall, not a relaxing or enjoyable experience and definitely not worth the money. I would suggest going elsewhere where. read more

I've been to several head spa's and this was the best experience I have ever had! It has a high end minimal aesthetic and the women working there are kind and personable. They take the time to discuss your hair and scalp type and select the product based on your needs. After the treatment they dry and style your hair. They start off with examining your scalp then bring you into your room where they give you a light massage and start treating your hair. I came in without an appointment and they accepted my walk in! It was my fault on not making an appointment and I got lucky someone was free. The lobby was so cute and they had beverages and snacks on the side (self serve). I got the standard scalp service that was listed on Groupon. You first start off with a scalp analysis, then your attendant goes into detail of what type of products you need depending on what your scalp needs. They use Korean and Japanese products. Then you're brought into a room where the magic begins. There's a water light on the ceiling. The products used smelled so good. That whole scalp experience was so relaxing, especially when the water ring was on! Then your scalp was reanalyzed and you'll see the difference. After that experience, my attendant dried and styled my hair! She suggested that curling my hair would look nice so I trusted her and she definitely pulled through with that Dyson. She offered some insight on what products I should buy (I asked her about the products) and she wasn't trying to scam me or upsell in any way. I would recommend this place. I had Annie and she was great. I went to their location in Arcadia when head spas first came out. It's good. At the end, they blow dry your hair too. If it's your first time make sure you tell them that so you get a first time customer discount. One thing I would like to recommend is to make a way to block the noise coming from the front of the spa, maybe a door or somwthing. Came here during soft opening and had a great experience. It's relaxing and the ladies are super nice. Had my hair dyed here as well and I didn't feel the dryness that's usually felt after dying my hair. I've noticed the difference in my scalp health. I recommend to others who want to improve scalp/hair health or to just pamper yourself and treat yourself to a special experience. There aren't many locations in this area that specializes in head spas, so now I can go in for a treat without driving far away. I'm excited to go again today during grand opening! read more

It's hidden in a little shopping center and quite honestly I probably wouldn't have given it a try how to not read the reviews and I'm really glad I decided to try them out. Myla -I think that's how you spell her name cut my hair. As she was doing it I wasn't sure what the outcome would be but once she was done and she blow dried it to give it a bit of a style. It looks so beautiful. She cut about 3 inches to get most of my dead ends out. If I'm ever in the area & I need a haircut. I would absolutely come back again.

This can be hard to do, especially since I have ethnic hair and about a decade of vivids, henna color, and other experiments in my hair. I came in with blue and purple fun hair. This is my hair after two sessions and she's done a great job delivering on Grey blending. She found an ashy beige that would work with blending in with my silvers. She really understands color. Rizza also has very chill energy and listens to your requests. I also needed to handle personal medical stuff during my appointment and she was very helpful about it.

The owner (originally from Chicago) explained the buildout and history of his shop, as he delicately cut a guys cut. My stylist was a sweetheart and it almost felt like a bargain, as she did such a nice job for a reasonable price. She even showed me a coffee table book, showcasing her & her family during the aftermath of a major Southern California earthquake (Northridge Quake, 1994). All very interesting and informative, indeed! Parking is very easy and you can grab a snack around the corner before your appointment. What's not to love? Can't recommend this place enough!

I actually made a scheduling mistake and missed my original appointment, but they were so understanding and accommodating. They found an opening for me at their 2nd Street location and were incredibly gracious about the mix-up, which I really appreciated. The entire staff was friendly and helpful--especially when it came to navigating parking (which, as you probably know, can be a challenge on 2nd Street!). That extra level of care made a big difference. Brook did my hair and was amazing. She really knows how to work with long hair and gave me beautiful, well-blended long layers. I left feeling so happy with my haircut. Overall, a fantastic experience. I'll definitely be back in April for a keratin service!

BFFR Period…read morepoint blank I have made time out of my days to commit to our appointments and the first time I did have to change the appointment I stated IF SHE CANT ITS FINE WE CAN STICK TO ORIGINAL, no biggie I can make the original, and then she cancels like bruh we could have stuck to the original & then I couldn't say yes to appointments offered the following day or week because: 1. I had a flight the next day like at 6am 2. when I return I go back to school Mon- Thurs literally 10am -3:30pm and then 6:30pm-9 3. I work 14 hour shifts Fri- Sunday . Not once did she offer if I'd like another stylist , not once did she offer a real accommodation . Let's be real and hold accountability , because this second cancel the day of appointments, messaging me hours before on IG asking to move my appointment earlier to then canceling is WILD . Original : I know the stylists have their own way of booking or dealing with affairs apart of the salon but I think it's wild they have a rebooking fee of over $30 if client has to reschedule last minute their appointments BUT when I get my appointment canceled TWICE by the stylist ON THE DAY OF THE APPOINTMENT , due to "family emergencies" that apparently always happen. I think it's wild that a stylist can waste a clients time and day considering the first time it was canceled I had planned to get my hair cut before my birthday trip and today it got canceled I had just told my boss no to coming in for a shift because of my scheduled appointment ... what do we clients get in return besides wasted time and lost money ? At least she returned my $20 deposit that has been kept since August but damn , homegirl really needs to take care of home before taking appointments , we have a life out here too.

She talked to me but I was having a rough day and didn't feel like being a big talker and I didn't feel pushed into that. I didn't feel pressured into making conversation. Heather was able to read me well. The hair washing experience is pretty new to me ( i haven't had a cut in 2ish years) and it was so soothing. As she cut my hair she was explaining the steps being taken. Everyone else there also seemed super nice. They were laughing with each other and with their clients. I genuinely felt comfortable. My hair came out exactly how I asked. She just read me like a book. I got so many compliments from the other stylists and from my friends at work. I felt super confident with my cut. Thanks Heather !!
