Cha Shu Ramen 8.9.23 YUMMM
Amanda L.

The service was excellent. She was very fast and took good social cues from me when I was ready to order and needed a refill and all of those things. She was even VERY awesome in that she had my app and the person next to me's but she set mine down to not take mine near them and keep. It was awesome to see such care taken. I absolutely love the decor. They keep it simple and clean and very much on theme for a good Ramen shop. The food is delicious. I ordered the Cha Shu buns and the Cha Shu Ramen (soy based). They put plenty of noodles toppings and broth. I asked them to leave off the fish cake because I just waste them and never eat them. Sorry Instagram. They have clearly had some price changes since their last menu print but who hasn't. I think they will eventually update it and are working with what they have likely until things settle down enough to know where their prices are going to land.

Spicy Cha-shu (pork) Ramen. (9/10) The ramen here is so good. My personal favorite is the Tonkotsu Ramen (10/10)

WOW - This place is a hidden gem. Service 10/10 Food 12/10 The sticky buns here are sooooo good. I had them one time, and now this place is a staple every time I pass through Hudson. The Charshu buns and the (secret menu) tonkotsu buns are unbelievable. I have a hard time saving room for the ramen. When it comes to ramen, all are made to perfection I'm sure, but my favorite is the Tonkotsu ramen. (10/10) I had the cha-shu ramen extra spicy today and it was also great. The tea helped put out the heat and for my first time having thai tea, I thought it was amazing. Bottom line- if you like ramen or Asian cuisine, this place is a must try.

I had the ramen with pork belly, and it was so tasty and delicious. I also had the beef for starts. They were tender and delicious as well. Highly recommend.

Two very tasty noodle dishes, seafood and char-siu ramen

A new food find on our side of the St. Croix River, a Japanese noodle shop. We were happy to find them open on Easter. Our food was delicious and service was great. We will be back.

So many recommendations for spots in downtown Hudson, but where do we head to instead? A strip mall near Target to this spot next to a Hallmark store. We prefer nondescript mom and pop Asian spots and whoa nelly, did Tsuta deliver! I am on a ramen kick lately and the pics from the reviews and menu looked so dang delicious and dare I say...pretty. It was a Sunday night around 5 pm and we were the only people in the restaurant. With how good the service and the food are, this place should honestly be packed. It is clean and modern inside with cute Japanese decor, and an updated bar area as well with various beers and sake. We are overly-prepared nerds who looked ahead at the menu and knew what to order- Charshu Pork Bun (2)-between the soft bun, tender meat, crisp of the lettuce, and that super tasty sauce, this was *muah* chef's kiss, for sure! Cha-Shu Ramen-I added fried tofu and carrots to this incredibly rich and flavorful ramen. While the carrots were cooked perfectly, I would not get them again because they simply weren't needed in an already packed bowl of yum. The tofu addition was smart and tasty, dipped into the broth. Just make sure to eat it first before it gets soggy. The egg was so perfect. Note that they only put half egg in there, so if you love a marinated soy egg, get your adventure-loving self an extra! Everything was great. If anything, I would order a ramen with shredded meat, as the sliced pork was huge (and fatty). Tonkotsu Ramen- The broth was the star of this dish. Meat was tender, noodles cooked perfectly. This is better than the ramen spots in our hometown. Can't wait to come back here next time we're in town. I want to try some of the watermelon sake.

Yum! Tsuta is AMAZING! What a gem in a nondescript strip mall a few miles from downtown Hudson. This place is a hidden gem. We ordered the chicken katsu ramen and tonkotsu ramen to go. They came with standard breakdown: noodles and dish essentials in one bowl, broth in another. Everything was FRESH and DELICIOUS, and the food was ready for pickup so quickly! The tonkotsu was my order and was incredible. The broth was rich and flavorful, and the mushrooms, soy egg, veggies, and pork belly was amazing. I like that the pork was sliced thin. Everything tasted so fresh! I also got to grab a bite of the chicken katsu ramen, which was so good. My companion, who had only ever had Top Ramen, was blown away. This place is my new go-to. So grateful to have this place in Hudson!

Seafood ramen

It was the first restaurant in the U.S. that was worth leaving a Yelp review for. We ordered the Chashu and Seafood Ramen, and the seasoning was just right. Most impressive was that they used separate broths for each dish. It was even better than some ramen shops I tried in Japan.

Shredded Cha Su Ramen with extra Cha Su. Delicious

This place is LEGIT!!! I've been on the road for a little while and I was looking for a decent Asian-Ramen place when I came across this little gem in Hudson. Honestly I wasn't expecting much because who knew that Hudson WI would have a really good ramen restaurant to offer?? I live in Chicago and we have plenty of good ramen spots there and honestly this place matches up with any ramen restaurant back home. I had the Shredded Cha Su Ramen with extra Cha Su piece and it was delicious. The Cha Su was sweet and very flavorful. The ramen broth was on point and the spiciness level was just right. If you're ever looking for a good ramen spot near Hudson, definitely stop by and check out Tsuta Ramen. You won't be disappointed!!!!

Cha-shu ramen

We came here for lunch and had 15% coupon on our order. The appetizer list was so much better than ramen station so had to narrow down on agedashi tofu and beef short ribs. The tofu was nice and crispy outside and silky soft smooth inside. Nice hot so better to eat inside rather than takeout. Beef short ribs were also good with nice seasoning. My wife got the cha-shu ramen which had nice burnt flavor as well as some spice. I had the bland seafood ramen which was good. However I would have ordered my wife's ramen next time. Overall great price and value too.

Beef ramen

So so so good! Clean and beautiful on the inside, swift and friendly service, easy to read menus, and delicious food. I had the beef ramen and my husband had the hibachi and we both thought our food was great. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.

Over priced and flavorless. We were looking forward to good food. Very dissatisfied. When you pay $14 a plate you expect excellent food.

Strong arms that could carry the weight of my emotional baggage and a week's worth of groceries. A smile like he already knew all my secrets--and was cool with all of them. His shirt--tight enough to show he definitely works out, loose enough to leave me desperate for more. It clung to his chest like it was blessed to even touch him. And every time he reached for the sriracha mayo, it lifted just a bit, revealing a flash of sculpted abs like a celestial reward for my devotion. Bowen. That was the name on his tiny name tag, as if that could possibly contain the full force of his cuteness, his power, his divinity. Just five letters, but it hit me like a freight train of longing. And then, like fate was being cruel on purpose, he said it-- That casual, heart-melting, "Hey, how's it going?" It sounded like a wedding vow to me specifically. Like in another life, we had already lived together, grown old together, and now he was just checking in from a memory. I stood there, stunned, heart pounding in my throat, my soul leaving my body and floating somewhere above the seaweed salad containers. I should've run then. I should've taken my spicy tuna bowl and left like a sane person, like someone with boundaries and dignity. But instead, I stood frozen in front of this shirted Adonis, already planning our shared Netflix queue, our future cat's name, and how I'd explain to my family that yes, I met the love of my life in line for poke. 10/10 would go again. Thank you, 507 Poke Bowl. And thank you, Bowen. You were the final straw.

Usually there is a very nice young girl working the front. Today I decided I wanted lunch while I take a break from DoorDashing. I walked into the restaurant and saw my order was ready but I had to use the restroom so I proceeded to walk toward the back where they are located. As I'm walking back there an older crabby woman with a permanent frown moved the phone away from her mouth and yelled, "excuse me"! I looked at her in shock and said, "I'm going to use the restroom". I'm 36 and something like this has never happened in all my years of life. Why on Earth would I walk to the back of the restaurant with a secret agenda!? People usually wash their hands before they eat anyways. I 100% feel like she said that to me because I am brown. I use the restroom at many restaurants all day as a doordasher and I have never had someone try to stop me when it's very obvious where I was going. I've never written a review before but I think during the times we are in other brown people need to be aware of the microaggressions the Apple Valley staff, specifically the crabby old woman has toward brown people. I will not be coming back to this location after this Interaction. I'm not spending my money AND TIPPING people who think I'm a threat. Don't come here, drive to the Eagan location.

I asked what black fungus was and was told mainly mushroom noodles. I decided on Niku Soba Ramen which is: Hakata style, Thin sliced pork belly, onion( I ordered without), Simmered in chef special sauce, fish cake, sesame seed and black garlic oil in Tonkatsu Base. I added beans sprouts. I thought the white circled thing was ginger, but that is the fish cake. I slurped, used chop sticks, and used spoon. Yum. The pork belly was good too. I tried my husband's seafood noodle dish, but it tasted oily. The calamari was basic elastic rubber band taste, that I spit out. Chicken wings were $8 for 8. We shared some without sauce. Very basic but my husband likes basic food. I haven't tried pho or pha before and might try in the future. The lady was working alone and really hustled and multi tasked. I took a bite out of seaweed paper and left it behind. I have my carbs for the day/week. We have Itton Ramen close by and may try them next. Highly recommend!!! See photo for descriptions.
