Tastes just like the 25-cent ramen from the store, but with real meat added. Not impressed. The staff weren't very friendly either

Kimchi ramen: was probably the worst ramen broth I've ever had. It had no flavor at all. I rather eat shin instant ramen than this ramen again. The chicken udon was good. It was savoy. We also got gyoza for an appetizer and that was good as well. Overall, pretty decent. Their menu had a good amount of food on there so if people want to come here they can get something more than ramen. Service was great. They were very attentive and fast. Probably will not be returning since I only wanted to come here for the ramen and was disappointed.

Solid three stars. I had the chicken ramen with a side of vegetable spring rolls. The spring rolls were delicious and freshly made to order. The ramen was ok. The broth didn't have the depth of flavor that I have had at other ramen places. The chicken was a little over cooked so it was chewy. The eggs were a little over cooked too. But not bad. The people are kind and attentive. Maybe it was because I came a little after lunchtime and they were getting ready to shut things down before dinner service, I don't know, but it was good not great.

I love ramen and this place scratches the itch. I'm spoiled because we had a ramen place in Albany that nothing else has even come close to. Admittedly, Ramen Station is the closest ramen to us down in Hastings (about a 25 minute drive). The service here was good; we usually order gyoza and spring rolls as an app and they're excellent. The ramen gets the job done - I think from my end, the broths could be a teeny bit more robust, but on a gloomy day, this still hits the spot.

The reviews have built this place up in my mind and the anticipation I even put on it, after my constant delay of checking it out myself. Sadly, it didn't live up to expectations. The meal was okay. But somewhat bland. After I ate the vegetables and ate some of the Ramen Noodles I was over it. Yes, you get a lot for the price and you could probably make 2 meals out of just this one. But I didn't want to finish it. Maybe if I ate Fowl or Beast I'd try one of the other options. However I don't, so I guess disappointment is where I will end with this place. Inside it is very small, but very pretty. You can tell they know how to make the most of their space. The service was fast as well. I placed my order and within less than 10 minutes it was ready to go. Overall, I may not come back. However, I bet others would enjoy it. But I wouldn't recommend this place for those who are practicing vegetarians and Vegans.

While the ambiance is nothing to write home about, we've always had great service here and most importantly, fantastic ramen. I recommend the kimchi ramen but I've tried several and don't think you can go wrong. Bonus points for having smaller offerings for the kids, though mine love ramen and just get the big ones. If you're looking for some hot ramen on a cold day, this is a great place to stop.

Delicious, we will definitely be back! We got quite a few things, all of them were really good. I got the Champon Ramen and was very satisfied. It hit the spot with good flavor and good portions. We also had the Fried Ice cream (amazing), Miso soup (tasty), and the Takoyaki (will definitely get it again). All in all, 5 stars, and I can't wait for the opportunity to come back! Everything looked well sanitized, there was hand sanitizer for us as we walked in, and minimal contact from the staff.

We met our family at Ramen Station for lunch today. It is a nice smaller place that have ramen and other noodle dishes. We tried some of their appetizers that were pretty good. I really enjoyed their sweet sour sauce we had with the cream cheese wontons. We all had something different for an entree. I had chicken Yakisoba it was pretty tasty. Everyone enjoyed their dish. My little grandson loved the broth of his dads seafood ramen. Hungry for ramen stop by give it a try.

I truly wanted to try the pre-made foods. We walked in and the lights were dimmed. It felt more like I was walking into an art gallery than an Asian grocery store. No one shouting. No funky smells. The produce section was what I walked into first. I was met with 4 green onions, 2 onions, a bag of bean sprouts, and a few fruits but all the produce were all wilted. At least everything else was neatly organized. Then we went to the sauce area, then to the ramen, then to snacks and so forth. All the products were at least 25% or more, higher in price than what's available in the grocers in St. Paul. Yes, you're paying more for the ambiance. Make the drive over to the hundreds of other Asian grocery stores there. I don't even live close and I make the effort to do my big grocery shopping in St. Paul for the price and variety. Anyway, I didn't see any or much SE Asian grocery items that would help me cook my dishes. Most items were catered to East Asian cuisine. Their precooked food area was sad. The pre-cooked rice looked mushy. The breads were dried and flaky. Disappointed to say the least. As an Asian person, I wouldn't frequent the establishment even in desperate times.

I was thrilled to see that there is an Asian grocery in Woodbury and it's just down the road from Costco. So I gassed up with some cheap fuel, bought a vacuum that I probably don't need (Costco, amiright?) and swung into United Noodles with my ramen recipe. The store is immaculate and well organized. The woman working the counter was super helpful and showed me where all my ingredients were located. They have an impressive selection of Asian and Hawaiian brands. I'm looking forward to shopping here more often!

I was leaving my sand volleyball league and needed something simple I could grab on my way home. I ordered at the start of my last game, set my pickup time, and went about my business. By the time I left the game and arrived to pick-up my food it had just been finished - right on time! Staff was very friendly and the process was effortless. I walked into the lobby, grabbed my order, and went home. I think because it was so affordable I was expecting to compromise on quality but the hibachi was really good! We both had steak and shrimp with yum yum sauce and it was reminiscent of Benihana. Honestly, the only concern I have is knowing Hibachi express exists and that I have to pass it once a week when I can barely control myself. This is definitely the place to go if you want the taste of hibachi without paying $90 for two!! You do get smaller portions than at a hibachi restaurant though. Flavor of the fried rice was on the blander side by itself but when you mix it in with the meat it fixes that problem. Also the staff were really nice :)

I was being friendly with the sushi chef, but he wasn't having it. The server needed to be summoned by him to take my order, but I didn't mind because she was in the back mixing something but was wearing gloves and was very sanitary despite anyone observing her. It's a small thing to expect, but I've seen some shady stuff at these types of restaurants. My server was personable and friendly. I ordered two lychee martinis (first time and outstanding), sashimi appetizer, spider roll and spicy yellowtail roll. The yellowtail and sashimi were on the happy hour menu, which was nice. The sashimi and spider roll was great as always. The spicy yellowtail was presented well, but had a spice in there I can't identify but I don't like. I didn't bring that home for leftovers, but it was not their fault. I get a spider roll whenever I get sushi and theirs is always my favorite! For anyone wanting a great drink, I highly recommend the lychee martini. It was soooooo good. The server said people come on specifically for that and are disappointed when they're out of fresh lychee. I'm glad they had it in stock for me to try!

We arrived right at noon when the restaurant opened. We were greeted with a quick "how many?" and then led to our table without much else. Menus were handed out, and the hostess turned and walked away. A waitress came by shortly after, asked for our drink and food orders, jotted them down, and left. That pretty much summed up the service... very minimal interaction, just business. Staff mostly just ask what you want and write it down. On the plus side, the food was good and fresh. The all-you-can-eat menu had a solid variety, and everything came out fairly quick and as ordered. I also appreciate that the menu offers more than just sushi -- there are options for people who don't eat much (or any) sushi, which is great when dining with a larger group. Price-wise, I personally feel it's a bit high, especially considering the lack of ambiance or customer service. You're not here for a "dining experience" -- you're here to eat, and that's about it. If you're okay with a straightforward, basic spot where the food is decent and the service is minimal, Akita still gets the job done especially if you're with a group and just want to enjoy sushi together.
