THE VIEW IS BACK! It's not as if ot disappeared, but it was hidden behind trees and shrubs. If you want to see trees and several cascading waterfalls, sit seating south. For to die for lake view, sit facing north. Thank you, Dr. Bob, for removing the blockage. Oh....yes... the food... Sorrentos Joe Scramble was hot to the last bite: eggs, spinach, mushrooms, and onions. I could eat it every day. The Italian omelette was delish as well. Don't be put off by the description that says "Spicy sausage." My finicky partner loved it, remarking it wasn't spicy at all. Mimosas were perfectly balanced. Great service. Enjoy!

Beautiful winery that overlooks Lake Chelan We had a dinner reservation at Sorrento's for 6 (4 adults and 2 young children). Originally we wanted to have a seat outside then we were told the tables don't accolade our party sizes and some of the other tables are strictly for wine tasting which is fine We had the clams, truffle fries and fire calamari. The calamari is dusted with cayenne peppers which we requested to see if they can not add that since the kids loves calamari but they weren't able to do that so only us adults were able to enjoyed that. Something to beware of if your kids love calamari For our entrees we ordered the salmon, Italian sausage and spinach cannelloni, steak for an additional $12 crabs were added on top, and sausage and pepper classico - everything was cook nicely and flavored was as expected After our meals the kids were able to run around in their little court yard, checked out their little pond with koi fishes, a waterfall and of course we were able to watch the sunset Overall the staff was great, the experience was lovely and it's an overall wonderful spot to check out when you're vacationing; just about 10-15 mins away from the town and our rental home

The owner himself, Bob! What a passionate and respectful person. Loved meeting him!

View 10/10, service 10/10, wine 10/10 (subjective to your preferences but I usually love most of their whites and drier reds)! Honestly words aren't enough to describe this place. Just visit and see for yourself. My boyfriend introduced me to this winery a year and half ago and I immediately signed up for membership even though I have other winery memberships. They have a satellite location in Woodenville so I pick up my shipment at that location which is close to my house. Woodinville location is also lovely and hosts a lot of events like live music and wine tastings. I visited Chelan location during different seasons and their decorations have been always on point. The view is amazing with the Lake Chelan and mountains. Interior is largely Italian-inspired. Both Julia and Julia gave us tastings and they were both very knowledgeable with where the wine comes from and taste notes. I also learned that they don't serve wine that's been opened for longer than a couple days. On this visit, we had an honor to have chat with the owner, Bob. He is a very passionate and delightful person. He started the winery in his 60s and now it is one of the oldest wineries in Chelan. I can't wait to visit again!

Absolutely loved this place! The view was beautiful, the service was great and the white wine was ice cold. They have seasonal menus and we tried a few things. Everything was amazing. Will definitely be back soon. Stunning.

We planned a last-minute weekend getaway to Chelan and booked a resort on Friday night. Early Saturday morning, we hit the road, excited for a spontaneous adventure. On our drive, we looked up things to do in the area and saw that Chelan is surrounded by many wineries. Based on the glowing reviews, we chose Tsillan Cellars as our main destination for the day. When we arrived, we were immediately blown away by the estate -- the views were absolutely stunning and the grounds were beautiful. However, the experience quickly took a disappointing turn. The restaurant was fully booked, so we went straight to the wine tasting room. When we approached the bar, there were two bartenders: a male who was already assisting customers, and a tall female dressed in black. Her demeanor stood out immediately -- no smile, very cold body language, and a piercing stare that made us feel unwelcome from the start. As this was our first visit, we politely asked about how the wine tasting worked. She explained the tasting process and mentioned that the fee would be waived if we purchased two bottles. While her words were fine, her tone, facial expressions, and overall attitude made us feel very uncomfortable. Still, we chose to give her the benefit of the doubt, assuming maybe she was just having a rough day. As we continued the tasting, we interacted with several other staff members who were warm, friendly, and helpful. It was a relief -- until we noticed something troubling. The original bartender who had been so cold toward us was now serving other (white) customers with a completely different energy: smiling, chatting, laughing. It was like watching a totally different person, and it felt like a slap in the face. When we were ready to purchase a half dozen bottles of wine, we returned to the bar. That same bartender was again happily engaged with another group of white customers, so we asked a different young woman for help. She asked for our name to pull up our account, but we hadn't been asked for any information earlier. She checked with the original bartender, who again shifted into her cold, dismissive mode and incorrectly claimed she had opened the account under someone else in our party. The young lady helping us was clearly caught in an awkward position but remained kind and apologetic as she quickly checked us out. By then, the damage was done. We decided not to make the purchase. It's 2025 -- and it's heartbreaking to still be treated differently because of how you look. What should have been a beautiful memory was soured by the feeling that we weren't welcome. One person's attitude tainted the experience at an otherwise lovely estate. We won't be returning, and I hope this feedback leads to some much-needed reflection.

Award-winning winery. Positioned up on the slope near the vineyard. Beautifully designed building and interior. It has a warm cozy feel, especially in the winter. A huge fireplace, musical entertainment, a small gift shop, outdoor seating with a beautiful waterfall, bridge over a Koi pond and restaurant. Not to mention a great variety of wine. We enjoyed a bottle of Bocciolo Di Rosa - Rose Wine, by the fire. And enjoyed the sounds of The Skiffs. Also great during the holidays, like Valentines Day! In 2020 they were voted Winery of the Year!

This is a really beautiful tasting room with tons of space, great wines, and the day we were there- fun activities too! We had just been dining in the adjacent Sorrento's and were blown away by the view and gorgeous grounds. After brunch we meandered into the tasting room and found comfy seats by the fireplace and ordered a few tastings. All the wine we sampled was great and we loved the tasting display they brought out. They were having a really nice fall family activity day with crafts for kids to work on. While we didn't have any kids with us, it was neat to see that everyone was having a great time. This is such a beautiful spot with a great view, amazing restaurant, and a comfortable spacious tasting room. Definitely will be on our list to visit when we return.

My husband and I came in with our two toddlers and my MIL for dinner. As our reservation was at 7…read morepm and we were in the area earlier than our reserved time, we strolled to their tasting room to purchase a glass of wine. I can't say enough how kind the staff - both at the tasting room and restaurant - were to my family. The restaurant itself had a magical ambience, most especially because it was just right after Christmas. The perfect lighting makes or breaks it and they got it right. Driving below looking at Tsillan Cellars, I imagined the restaurant to be more spacious than what I thought it to be, rather, it was a bit more intimate which was quite nice. As it was dark, we could not see the view but I would imagine that it would have been outright stunning in the day. As for the food, we ordered the shrimp risotto, steak, and canelloni for the adults. This establishment also offers a kid's menu and although I usually have my kids eat from whatever I order, we decided they cam order a plate of their own, which was spaghetti and chicken tenders with rosemary fries. All of the dishes were of quality and of course, delicious. I wish I could get another plate of the risotto. If we ever get the chance to come back, I would certainly come back and reserve a time when there is daylight to enjoy the view of the area and water.

Service: my boyfriend called to schedule a reservation. Number one I have a food allergy (onions,…read moreshallots, green onion and chive). He spoke at length to them about the allergy and if substitutions were made. We had the online menu and several of the dishes we were promised were onion free, including ciopinno. Now I make this at home. I am aware there are standard white onions in the broth. He doesn't know that, he just knows I love it. He clarified twice with whoever answered the phone. When he brought me, he had assured me they said it was onion free. *In a Morgan Freeman voice* it was in fact not onion free, nor were most of the dishes on the menu. I know better than to get too invested into any menu items prior for asking if it is safe. Second, we asked for a table with a view, preferably outside. This is primarily because of the onion allergy and he wanted a view. They put us in the middle of the dining hall. We asked about the view, the seating hostess "well this is the best view." There were three tables out on the patio. We had a view of a bridal party and bros who were spilling their drinks. I after a lengthy back and forth about food items, I was instructed to order protein and sides that were safe. What I ordered: scallops cooked in a butter, lemon and white wine sauce order a pasta of the chef's choosing. What she kept ordering were plain scallops, buttered noodles and a side of vegetables. I kept correcting her that I did not want buttered noodles. I stead of listening to me, she kept asking me what type of noodles I wanted. She didn't allow the chef to choose, she wrote linguini. I tried one more time correcting her, Steph wouldn't fix it. The lack of communication is sad. The food: I wish I could talk about the food. I got tasteless butter garlic noodles, three very small tasteless scallops, a side of shaved parmesan and a side of vegetables. I paid $45 dollars to be fed a meal worthy of a picky 2 year old and not what I ordered. I cannot fault the chef. I have no doubt he hated making that dish given what was on that menu. After heavily salting, I gave up after three bites. My boyfriend was very clear with Steph. I was very clear with Steph. She would not listen. Ambiance: is beautiful. Worthy of all the IG pictures. Because they accommodated the food allergy, I chose to not give one star. But honestly they deserve a one star review. Recommendations: Teach your staff how to listen. I had one amazing restaurant that will highlight with a highlighter what I can eat and underline anything that be accommodated. That was probably the best restaurant I have ever experienced.

Lake Chelan doesn't have much in terms of high-quality vegetarian or plant-based gourmet options, but Bear Foods was a massively delightful surprise! The store is absolutely PACKED with things that I wanted to look at and take home. I was impressed with how many things they stocked that were items I've only seen online and never seen sold in stored. We took a super long time through the coffee and tea isle and ultimately took a few boxes and tins home with us because their selection was so good. Their cheeses and gourmet snacks area was well stocked, and I could see how some of the vacationing non-locals could keep a business like this afloat even with their considerable prices. I really wanted to go back, but we were in the area for a wedding and our timeline just didn't allow it to happen. Otherwise, I probably would have brought home a lot more of their amazing goodies! Only downside for me was that during our time there, there was a mask mandate, and not a single person working there was masked. I thought that was an odd thing to have despite the state's requirements and especially because they were a grocery store and having significant contact with patrons. Other than that, it was a really positive experience and I would absolutely return.
