After getting quoted $6k by the ford dealer in Lakewood, nick quoted me the same work for much less. He got the significant amount of water out of the body of my truck and replaced the BCM quickly. This place is a joke they had my car for a week and every day I would call they would promise they would look at it, after a week I got a flake diagnosis and was told that they can fix it for 3k but can't guarantee that the problem with the car would be fixed. I finally picked up my vehicle and it reeked of smoke, as if the mechanic was smoking inside my vehicle or where he had it stored. So unprofessional a complete waste of time and had to pay $150 for nothing. Never again. read more

Called to get estimate for suspension work. Lady there got my information, told me I will call you right back with that estimate. Insisted however I make an appointment before I got any rough estimate. Told her I would wait until I heard back. 2 days later, still no call. So I call business again. Immediately placed on hold and left there for 15 minutes with nobody ever coming back to answer my call. Not worth it. Will go some place that actually wants the business. read more

Called to look to get my 2013 Ford Focus fixed, after a pleasant chat with Nick he highly recommended I take it to another dealership that services Fords to get work done on it before I take it to him (if need be). Took my F350 6.0 to them to fix the bad U joint and to see if they could fix the problem with the truck bed. They replaced and aligned the u joint and drive line perfectly. The other issue with the truck bed was beyond repair by them. Nick called a body shop he uses and the owner came over to look at my vehicle. He was willing to take a shot at it. The superior work by TSC and the referral to a great body shop was, in my opinion, above and beyond. I would definitely take a vehicle back to them for service. read more

Our 2015 Ford Escape was ready for a little TLC after commuting hard for 80k miles with no maintenance besides oil changes. I tried making appointments with Ford Dealers with no calls back for weeks. Nick at TSC answered the phone on the first ring and was able to fit is in the very next week. Nick is clearly very passionate about his work. I had a problem that had been persistent on a front end noise that was difficult for the dealerships to diagnose. I suspected a failing CV shaft or bearing and dropped the car off for them to get to ASAP although they were very backed up and eventually took days for them to get to my car. When they got it on the lift, Nick took me through his thought and he sprayed everything with penetrating oil and grease in an effort to fix the noise. He spent some time road testing it as well. When I drove the car away the sound was still present and as loud and obnoxious as ever. I payed quite a bit for a road test and some grease on the undercarriage. Ultimately I took the car back to the dealer and they finally listened to me and replaced the axle and fixed the problem. Unfortunately, I won't be going back. read more

I have an 02 f250 7.3 superduty. I've owned it four years now and it has always leaked oil. After trying with different mechanics and thousands of dollars no one was able to fix it. I brought it to nick at tsc and I could emidiatly tell this was a mechanic who knew what he was doing! He was absolutely fantastic! Only person who was able to stop my truck from leaking. By far some of the best repair service I've received on my F-250 6.0L. Husband came home complaining of the truck smoking, and I knew it was an injector issue. After calling several shops, these were the first guys that didn't try to gouge us with extra work 'needed' on the truck. Anyone that knows 6.0, knows what the issues are and what to correct if you want the truck to keep rolling, and I pride myself on not being a complete idiot. Dropped the truck off last night, got a call with diagnostics this morning, and quoted to be finished this afternoon! Super courteous, and made sure to completely explain the injector they were replacing, and gave a completely reasonable quote for the repairs. HIGHLY recommend these guys. They know what they're doing and obviously have a passion for Fords. 100% will return for future maintenance and repairs. read more

I don't like leaving bad reviews but I fee I must on this. I took my car in because of a very slight coolant leak on a Friday. I said I had a warranty. I could have waited til the next week but even though I said it was minor he got it up on the rack. He then had me wait for 6 hours never telling me how long anything would take. Then said my warranty wouldn't answer since he took long so it was pay $200 for it looked for no reason or have them do the work and try to sort it with my company later. That was annoying but then during the weekend I checked after driving later that night and I had coolant spraying all over my engine. I later found out that this could have caught fire so good thing I checked. I couldn't even drive my car till Monday and so I couldn't work. The cap they put on was faulty. I told Nick at the beginning of our interaction how terrible life had been for me lately and I was at a low point without a lot of money. I guess that didn't mean much. Finally, the invoice he wrote didn't even mention the repair and just looking at the car so after submitting it to my warranty company and waiting a month I found out they wouldn't cover it. Luckily I made it through the month. What a horrible choice coming here, I'm a good person I don't deserve to be treated like this. read more

Been on a road trip since May 10th. Went to start out today for home and there was no working display. Called Nick and he said bring it in. While diagnosing the problem he had Tim drive us to and from breakfast. No emplacement part is currently made and the existing unit would need to be sent out for repair with no guarantee that it would be successful. Additionally the time required was beyond our schedule. Based on Nick's diagnosis we decided to drive without speedometer and gas gauge. Nick's charge for the diagnosis and service was much less than expected and the service was outstanding. I have always found it easier to be proactive than reactive in vehicle maintenance. While my 2010 Ford E-250 van had no issues at 115K miles it was due for some TLC from TSC. Prior to scheduling my appt I checked with the service departments at 5 local Ford dealers and could not have been more underwhelmed. I left lots of messages none of which got returned. The few service advisers that did bother to pick up the phone could not have been more clueless. Most just tried to sell me additional services at inflated prices. The local Ford dealers did NOT get to earn my business. When i called the folks at TSC is was like a breath of fresh air. Stacy, who answered the phone immediately, was able to answer all of my questions. i set my appt. I spoke with the owner Nick when i dropped my van off as i had many questions regarding my upcoming service. It quickly became apparent that Nick is infinitely knowledgeable regarding Ford products and is passionate about his work. Wayne, the owner of The Service Center Ford Specialist is a very likable parts changer. You bring in your broken car, suggest what may need to be done, and he will replace whatever parts you think it needs. He is very agreeable, and if your first suggestion doesn't fix the problem, bring it back, or have it towed back in and he will replace the next part you think might be broken. My daughter and I just spent 72 hours driving from Denver to San Diego, we got to see so much more of the country than people driving in cars that Wayne didn't work on. Our favorite is the 9 hours in the rest stop outside of Flagstaff AZ, fabulous restrooms, nice cloud formations. The walking tour of Kingman AZ in August is also recommended. I had a new engine installed and it developed a coolant leak into the oil Nick diagnosed my vehicle told me it would take 3,745.28 to get it drivable agian . He replaced a thousand dollars of battery cables then a new starter that burned up due too the new cables according too Nick .none of this had anything to do with the problem it came in for after he painted some parts and put some things on it he got it running so Nick says but it was running before he got , he was to find the source of the original problem and get the it drivable .. he refused after I already paid him to get it drivable he wanted even more money and then wanted to buy my truck telling me it was a problematic truck and he would take it off my hands .. this Nick at TSC is a rip off in my opinion .. he threatened me even with a hand gun don't go here the guy is a tweaker the tow truck driver found his drug tools when they towed it from there .. read more

Nick is the absolute man. We brought our van in to get a misfiring spark plug repair, and had us out on the road in an hour and a half. A scammer , told me 3,645.28 would fix a coolant leak I had , paid that in full up front then he said the heads was bad another 3,600 , mean while he was serviced other areas that wasn't part of the agreement and then charged me 800 for a battery cable . Went to check on my vehicle Saturday morning out doing errands Nick cussed me out as soon as I opened the front door asking me what ***** was I doing there ETC then he told his girlfriend to call the police , they show up and Nick proceeded to tell them I had no business to show up on a Saturday morning and to get my truck out of there unfinished , basically he did a Lebron James walk out in the middle of the job after he was already paid ..the heads turned out to be good , Nick didn't do his job correct in diagnosing the problem instead just guessing and collecting money .. this guy is not a good business man or repair . Can he change a tire probably although I would not trust him .. just my opinion from a experience with doing business there . read more

UPDATE I went to get my new (to me) Ford Expedition serviced and was very happy with the services performed. The 2003 Expedition has almost 200,000 on the clock and is now running just as good if not better then any new truck I drive. I won't go anywhere else to have my Fords serviced they are a top notch shop that prides them self on the work they do as I said in my review I made a little over a year ago "they fix it right or not at all" do your self a favor fix it right it will save you big in the long run. They did my complete oil change and axel services in a matter of a few hours. They do it right they just don't stick a tube in the axel and suck out the oil. Unlike those chains that way overcharge to have people that don't know what they are doing to work on the second most expensive investment you will make. I'll see Nick and Wayne in 3,500 miles when it's time for my next motor oil change. read more

Took in my 2013 Explorer in bc AC wasn't coming out of passenger side. I found online that blend door actuator replacement averages were just under $200 (parts and labor) at the HIGH END. Mine was $520. What wasn't shared with me beforehand was that I would be charged $200 or so for software updates. I was also charged the diagnostic fee of over $100. My experience with mechanics is that they don't charge this fee if you have them go ahead and repair especially for new customers they want to keep. None of these costs were precisely itemized on the invoice either. Nick said himself after I raised these concerns that "we are not cheap". They did turn it around in a day which was awesome and the AC does work on both sides. I kind of got the impression tho that the place wasn't for regular folks who watch their dollars but rather for those who are fine just paying whatever. He did offer me a free oil change for the "confusion". Not sure what to think. read more

Brought my truck there several times and believe this place was intentionally damaging my vehicle to get more repairs. Owner told me how mechanics rip off owners by breaking a small piece of a harness. When I later needed to have repairs done, I was told that harness needed to be repaired. It was broken exactly how he said it would be. When I brought it to a new mechanic, he told me that one of the parts that had to be replaced, looked like someone had beaten it with a hammer. I no longer have repeated vehicle issues since leaving TSC. read more

I took my 2008 Ford Mustang here after taking it to the dealership and to another shop, and being completely dissapointed. These other shops wasted my money throwing parts at a problem they could not properly diagnose, and let me tell you they were not even close to the problem. Nick of TSC knows how to diagnose, and how to truly repair a problem. He found the issue extrodanarily quickly as well, a bad cable, and repaired it with minimal cost. This guy knows Fords like the back of his own hand, I spoke to him for about an hour over a few problems and Nick helped me immensely. A week later and my car is running like new, a feeling I have not had for over a year. I will only be seeing TSC for my Ford vehicles from now on. Took my sick 2003 F250 6.0 in for multiple problems that 2 other shops couldn't figure out in 2 weeks. Wayne and Nick immediately got my truck in the shop on a Thursday pm, did a diagnostic on it, and had it back to me Monday am. These guys are great! Wayne kept me informed each day as to what they found wrong and what the fix was going to be. Had 4 injectors changed, ICP harness, both fuel filters, vacuum pump leaks fixed, carrier bearing changed and other work. Fair prices and honestly interested in fixing the truck right. Highly Recommend!! Better than Ford Dealer!! AWESOME SERVICE! TSC Ford Specialists were fantastic!! Excellent customer service and very friendly! They did not take advantage of me like most places try to, extremely helpful and experts in repair! We were driving from CA to OH and on day 2 going up the mountains in CO my V6 F150 almost broke down, then hours later it smelled like something was burning (the engine was maxed out). We went to 3 Ford dealerships the next day at 8am and no one could look at the truck until noon or later, and we were on a very tight deadline to get to OH. We called TSC and they said bring it right over, they put my truck at the front of the line and had 4 guys working on it within 5 min of me getting there. They looked over everything for about 45 min, checked and tested everything! They determined probable causes of the burning smell we were smelling after the mountain and decided it wasnt likely anything that would happen again. They made me feel comfortable and confident about continuing across the country! And the truck made it all the way to OH no problems! Even better I walked out of there (an hour later and 4 guys working on my truck and checking everything on it, for just a diagnostic check/inspection fee)!!! Would HIGHLY recommend!!
