If you get it in a cup instead of a cone you can add a number of toppings, or they also have parfaits. Of course in addition to the ice cream they have Matcha drinks as well as a variety of other drinks. My friend got a brown sugar Boba and it looked creamy and delicious. ROASTED OOLONG MILK TEA + half boba / half grass jelly I got this drink with 30% sugar and still thought it was way too sweet. The boba is sweetened already, so I probably would have enjoyed it at 0% better. I can taste the tea flavor, but still pretty heavy on the milk. I had to toss my drink after less than half of it because it was too sweet. My friends didn't really like their drinks. One of them thought her milk tea was powdery and unpleasant. It's a cute little place, and maybe I just didn't order the right thing once again, but it left a lot to be desired. The entire drink had some sort of soap-like taste to it. I subbed for oat milk, and that was all I tasted. There was no other flavor or sweetness to the drink. There also wasn't chocolate chips, it was cookie crumbles and it was some sort of offbrand Oreo, which I think was where the foul taste was coming from. Boba was cooked perfectly, but also didn't taste the greatest or like the brown sugar I'm used to. I usually never try a place only once! But this order did not thrill me.

There was plenty of seating, and we were showered with a bunch of menus when we got to our table. I wish the host would've told us about the lunch special, but we figured it out. Our picks... Apps: Gyoza dumplings - hands down the best I've tried in some time. They're deep fried (but not greasy!) and sitting on the most delightful, thick scallion, sesame, onion dressing. I almost licked the plate! Veg spring rolls - ok, but not in the same universe as the dumplings. Entrees: * Katsuobushi Pork Ramen -- a spicy, smoky porky dreamy noodle dish. Wow. Flavor explosion! This is not for the dieting or health conscious, but it's soooo good. There's some serious pork belly inside! I've never had corn in ramen, but it's a nice, "cooling" moment in all that. The 1/2 marinated egg is lost in this dish - but bamboo shoots o & scallions are nice. * Shoyu Chicken Ramen - hard to hold a candle to the house specialty, which is clearly pork, but the chicken is nicely spiced and grilled (it really tasted smoked IMHO). The broth is flavorful. **Tons of noodles in both ramen dishes. We had leftovers. Really didn't like the cloyingly sweet Thai iced tea. Wished they had a hot tea lunch option. Our server was fine. I ordered the build-your-own bowl, which came out to around $13. For the base, I did half sushi rice and half organic spring mix. I added two scoops of protein: tofu and chicken. For mix-ins, I chose cucumber, carrots, and wakame seaweed, then topped it with ponzu sauce, pineapple, edamame, and shredded nori for crunch. Overall, the bowl was definitely filling and felt like a good value for lunch. I did expect the chicken to be warm, but it was served cold, and the tofu was uncooked, so the proteins were a little disappointing and bland on their own. Mixing everything together helped a lot, especially to distribute the sweet and tangy sauce throughout the bowl. I would return, but I'd probably make some adjustments to my bowl choices next time.

The person behind the counter was a bit less than enthusiastic, which normally doesn't even factor into my reviews because I've totally been there. I ended up asking for a refund for a different reason because I didn't want to make a scene, and my girlfriend threw her drink out. There also seemed to be milk tea sitting out unrefrigerated in a non-insulated keg. All in all, I would be open to coming back in the future if changes are made, but the laziness of AI-generating menu images and the lack of hygiene means that I won't be back for a while.
