The clear soup was somewhat more unique, but I would probably stick to just miso soup next time. The ginger salad and corresponding orange ginger dressing were fresh and nicely presented: a nice way to get some crisp vegetables into the meal. The sushi rolls were nicely constructed, with the hot pepper roll in particular standing out. Each piece was somehow fried individually with a very light tempura batter. We also tried the Hawaiian classic poke bowl, and it was generally good. The salmon was extremely fresh and bright, and the various toppings were well proportioned. I ate the Hawaiian Bowl (with ahi tuna and many vegetables and fruits, 4 stars) and a Mango-pineapple Smoothie (4.5 stars). My husband ate a custom bowl (with ahi tuna, crab meat, and more; he called it "like mush," 3 stars) and a canned soda. I only had to wait a few minutes for my order to my completed. One thing I will say about this place is that they are generous with their portions. My poke bowl lasts me two days, which is nice. The staff were friendly and the restaurant was clean. Definitely one of my go-tos.
