Mike and the guys at True North are top notch. My old builder-grade AC system was on its last legs. I received a few quotes to replace my dual system, but True North's was the best. And Mike was very courteous and knowledgeable. When it came time for the system replacement, Mike and Johnny were very professional and thorough and did a great job! These guys are passionate about HVAC and know what they're doing. I highly recommend True North! read more

Mike was True to his word. We worked with him from out-of-state so were apprehensive. The quote was done quickly and the HVAC replacement was done to accommodate our schedule and needs. The job was completed as promised and as quoted. Strongly recommend True North A/C! read more

I had multiple companies come out to quote me on cancelling out some duct work for a previous swamp cooler that was removed. The 2 techs that showed up actually got in the attic of my vaulted ceilings and gave me an honest assessment, which is more than what the other companies did. Honesty is the best policy, and that is why we went with True North. Awesome work and a noticeable difference with the ducts. Thank you so much! read more

Labor day and the A/C is out at 4:30 in the morning!!! What do you do? Well, you scroll through Yelp looking for a local repair team that will help you with the heat as it continues to rise since the sun is now up. 5 calls placed and only 1 guy called me back. That was Mike! Mike is a family guy and he said that had several calls already scheduled but would get me in today! Johnny called me 45 min ahead of time as promised, to let me know he was on his way. He showed up with a mask and was respectful and professional. My A/C issue was diagnosed and fixed at a reasonable price and I was back to cooling the house down to a balmy 77 in no time. If you didn't catch it before.... they did this on Labor day and no other company called me back. Nice work gents and a huge thank you from the Rice Family! Customers for life! read more

True North Air has been wonderful! Got home from work and could smell a plastic burning. Called them and they were there within 2 hours! John was there with a mask on and very polite! Unfortunately it was a motor that was out and still under warranty so we had to wait until the next day to get it approved. He had the part and was willing to do it that night (almost 10:00 PM). The next morning he was at the house early getting info to make calls and get it approved. HIGHLY recommend them!! read more

I had an A/C emergency recently and found True North A/C. They came over within the hour even though it was already 10 pm. Johnny was awesome and explained everything that was happening with my unit and set up an install for the very next day. I needed a new A/C and in less than 24 hours, Mike was over, with a crane, and installed the new unit. They were great guys and clearly go out of their way to make sure their customer is being helped. read more

We hired True North mainly because Mike was very prompt to respond to all my questions, very transparent, accommodating and included other additional parts and services that other companies do not include in the purchase and install of a new unit. He did all the work by himself in record time; I was right behind him the entire time and I saw that he is very knowledgeable, meticulous, clean and takes pride in his work; everything he did was done with precision and perfection and he never tried to cut corners. We ended up purchasing a better unit than the other competitors offered for about the same price and he made it easy for us to make a decision once he explained everything to us. To anybody out there looking to buy a new ac unit, I already did all my research with other companies; if you have a hard time getting a response back from them, how long is it going to take them to come to your house and help you with your needs; so don't waste your time and call True North and ask to talk to Mike; with other companies you will pay about the same for a lower rated unit and you will have to wait until they let you know when they will be able to do the job, which it was not our case; he sent me a quote on a Friday and he told me he could do it on Monday, I talked to him and we changed our minds, so we decided on another unit instead and he still did the job on the promised date. No way I can get the same service and ac unit for the same price with other companies. read more

We recently purchase our new home and knew we would need HVAC services right away. The owner was prompt , responsive, and upfront about costs. He arrived on time, and was able to accomplish all repairs in a timely manner. He came back the following day to follow up on some other issues we were having and gave us a descent estimate on a complete replacement on our entire system. We look forward to working with him again soon and would recommend him to friends and family. read more

I had a great experience with True North. The team was very professional and personable. Prompt service, great prices. We worked with Johnny, who was very helpful, for the initial service/quote. Mike, Micah, and Jaime did a great job with the installation of the new AC unit. We are happy so far and looking forward to having a more efficient AC unit this summer. Very easy, quick process and excellent service from the whole team. read more

True North really saved us. During the awful heat spell this summer our air conditioner, at our rental home, died - and on a Friday no less! Everyone we spoke to said HVAC Contractors were months out before they would be able to help us. Although True North was booked out for months they made an opening to take care of us. We decided to have the total HVAC replaced because of the age of the units. True North was able to procure a new system and had it up and running by Monday afternoon. They were prompt, courteous, efficent, knowledgeable and cleaned up after themselves. I thought their pricing was more than fair. They are the best and we highly reccomend them. read more

A/C needed more freon & forgot that I used True North last time & was looking around to find someone & there prices were outrageous! I referred them to my friend who needed an a/c company & will refer them to all my friends & family. My go to from now on! read more

I called around 8:30pm regarding AC unit fan not turning. A repair technician arrived at 09:30pm and after quick troubleshooting, it was identified as bad capacitor. They have spare available in the truck and the repair was completed within 30 minutes. Kudos to Jamie for coordinating repair technician for after hours repair. Johnny completed the repair in a very timely manner. Great price considering after hours service and the fact they arrived within an hour is extremely awesome. Definitely recommended True North for AC repair. I will use them again for sure. read more

Mike is awesome! We were in the process of remodeling a home to put on the market and the AC went out. He got out there quickly, diagnosed and fixed the problem. His rates were very reasonable. Within a couple of days, the AC went out again. He immediately went out to check on it and found the workers at the house had accidentally flipped a switch. He was so kind and understanding about the mistake. We ended up getting an offer on the house and the buyers had some questions about the AC. Mike was so gracious, he was willing to provide additional information to satisfy the buyers. Such a nice guy, awesome company! Would recommend them to anyone! read more

Excellent service, prompt responses and regular communication throughout the day. Very good value for the level of service we had. The tech was helpful and very quick with the repair that had our air going again in no time. We really appreciate the prioritization and communication. At the end of the day we are all customers for someone and expect to be treated well, we appreciated being treated like our needs mattered. It is unfortunately great service is becoming more and more rare, but refreshing to see a home repair company that can be relied on. Thank you on behalf of me and my family. We will certainly use you again should the need arise! read more

We needed to replace our AC units and we called True North AC and Mike came by and looked at all of our equipment including in the attic and gave us options for new units and quotes for all the options. He gave a great price and started the job a couple of days later. He was very personable and knowledgeable and went above and beyond to get the equipment installed and also redo the duct work that wasn't installed properly when the house was built. I would highly recommend Mike to do any AC work big or small. read more

True North Air Conditioning - These are the 2 Trane Ac units True North installed - Heating & Air Conditioning/HVAC Near Me - Gilbert, Arizona

I was so impressed by their service, they went out of their way to work with warranty company to cover a motor and in turn saved me $800. I though the staff and the owner were extremely profesional and honest that I took the tech to my elderly neighbor's house to service her unit. She had been over charged by another company and new quotes were too high for her budget. The tech was very kind and their price was beyond fair. I highly recommend them. You will not be disappointed, you may in fact be positively surprised and possibly save some money too!! read more

2 of my Air conditioning units on my house stopped working during the hottest time last summer. I had so many other air conditioning companies out. All told me they were beyond repair and quoted outrageous prices to replace 2 units. I called Michael, he came over right away. Was able to diagnose the issues on both within minutes. 1 unit just needed rewiring. The other he replaced the compressor. Very honest person. I recommend him highly. And I will not use anyone else for my AC needs. read more

Had AC problems and had another company come over to diagnose and the told me the compressor died and it was time to replace my 20 years unit. I decided to ask for a bid through Yelp. John from True North was very prompt with a very competitive quote. He showed up the same day and checked the unit and not only gave me the official estimate but was able to get the old unit working again. I still decided to have a new unit installed with them. John was very professional and honest. They even spent the time showing me the work they did in the attic. He gave me all the information I needed and was not looking to hook me up with more than what I needed. Highly recommend them for your AC needs. read more

Glad to give my business to True North AC. They came in with the best price to do our pre season tune up on our unit. They said upfront there were no up-sale antics and that immediately got my attention. Along with the competitive pricing. Johnny was our technician and he was great! I sprang a very last minute time change on him as he was driving here to service our unit and he was able to accommodate my unexpected changes. He was so kind and very respectful. Got a new Trane AC, works great. Mike was super easy to work with and answered all of my questions.

Johnny was very professional and on-time. He seems very trustworthy, a trait that is hard to find in technician. He is very thorough with his work. My issue was my thermostat power source was shutoff from condensate safety switch. The primary line backed up and this us due to another HVAC company botched job two weeks ago. Johnny cleared the line and rebuilt the trap. His price is very reasonable and I highly recommend this company. read more
