This place is really good! There's something for everyone. As a vegan, I'm so happy they have vegetarian and vegan options. They have gyros, platters, salads, and other things. They also have meat options. There are entrees that are a little pricey ($15+), but the gyros are very reasonably priced ($8-10). They all come with pita chips. The food is really good too. The most disgusting food I ever tasted. I ordered the chicken gyro, and it was nasty. It was made with the cheapest quality meat you can imagine. Chicken was old, rubbery, and full of cartilage. I literally ended up eating the bread and dumped all the meat out. The reviews are deceiving. They are probably by people they know. The rest of the meals ordered at our table was salty and poor quality too. It's a shame. Restaurant itself was outdated and dirty. The bathroom was in horrible condition as well. I'm not sure how this place is so highly rated unless I somehow got the wrong items? Pros: -Get the cauliflower. anything with it is guaranteed to be good. -The coffee was ok. They add the cream if u ask for cream (a negative) but it's strong, tasty, and fresh brewed. Cons: -Prices were high for what you get: Apps were at least 7-9 tho a few around $13, a few around 5. Gyros were $7.99-10.99 and small. Dinners were $14-19. -Small amounts for any item (the pics are misleading for sure. Those plate sizes are small!) -No real mediterranian flavor in anything we had. -no tzaziki option which was strange. -Too salty hummus, no garlic flavor (huge negative for me.) -Kind of far out of the areas probably best for emmaus locals and students only. I honestly think it's prob emmaus locals who perhaps haven't tried other mediterranian places that may be rating this so high. We went there for the first time recently. Got the sampler platter (hummus, roasted cauliflower, grape leaves, and babaghanoush with pita and pita chips). Then we split a chicken kebab gyro. One of the reasons we split an app and entree is the prices of the items. They were higher than expected of a small cafe and for mediterranian in general. The hummus was salty and didn't taste like much beyond that. It was drenched in so much olive oil, that most of the bites were literally dripping with it - NOT typical even in Macedonia, Greece, or some of the other mediterranian countries. The babaghanoush did have more flavor, but really missing something-maybe tahini? The roasted cauliflower was fantastic. The grape leaves were 1.5 inches and lacking in any flavor but olive oil. I'll admit cold stuffed grape leaves usually lack flavor compared to room temp or warm ones-but these were very bland even for cold grape leaves. We got way too many fried pita chips and 6-8 small triangles of soft pita. It was a smaller platter for the price. When we asked the server if the sampler was enough for 2 people, we were told "depends on how hungry you are. It's kind of small, but will give you a good idea of different flavors here". Not the raving review one would expect! Normally I would get kibbe balls, fatoush, or some of the other big mediterranian items as apps, but the prices were high and the quantities I saw on other tables plates were way too small to get it as apps. The wrap itself was also small for the price. There wasn't alot of kebab meat, my eating partner only found 2 pieces on her half. The kebab didn't taste like kebab meat-no spices on it at all. Similar to Purdue's pre-cooked chicken cuts in a bag. The pita itself was good but very small. To me it tasted like a regular pita wrap I could make at home. No it didn't taste bad, it was ok. But it was small, overpriced, and lacking in anything mediterranian tasting. Their 'thing' seems to be the lemonaisse sauce. It's their tzaziki substitute. Lemon, yogurt, mayo, and salt were in it according to what the person working there said. It goes on everything. Definitely tasty, but I wished it had garlic in it, and dill. BE a substitute for tzaziki if that's what you are going for- add dill and garlic. I'm fine with no cukes in it, but missing garlic and dill was not. Tasty? It was ok-but nothing stood out at all. Mediterranian? Not at all except in name. It was worth a try but nowhere near other mediterranian places in the lehigh valley. read more

Mediterranean cusisne is one of my favorites. The lightly seasoned meats, grilled or skewered to perfection is a thing of beauty. The simplicity and the flavor on offer when done right is something not in a lot of cuisines. True blue checks all the boxes of a great Mediterranean place. The food, the service, the ambience and the whole dining experience would leave you with a smile as you walk out. We got a couple of gyros which were a good size. The rolls came with pita crisps and hummus which was a great touch. I would definitely recommend getting the Almond joy drink when you stop by. We have been here 3 times so far, and each time the food was delicious and on returning times going with expectations of certain dishes was delighted to find the recipes made the same tasty way so we were NOT disappointed. I had lamb kabob gyro my buddy had the lamb gyro we asked for cucumber sauce instead of lemon sauce couldn't taste it like they didn't put anything on it the pita chips were very dry and the hummus was tasteless I also ordered a meat pie was very dry and the sauce that came with it didn't help much my buddy threw his away because he couldn't eat it but I figured I paid for it so I ate it I didn't like it we won't be going back read more

Had many Gyros in my day this is by far the best! I literally moan with delight when I bite into it. They don't use that processed mystery meat that looks like a giant boneless leg like most gyro places... but tender, juicy, and flavorful slices of REAL lamb. Let's start with the pistachio baklava. No, really, I had it as an appetizer. It's dense and not too sweet, with rich pistachio flavor that balances well with the honey syrup. So after dessert we had chicken gyros made with True Blue's own "lemonaize" sauce, served with warm crisp pita chips and homemade hummus. The restaurant sits in a strip mall and doesn't look like a lot from the outside, but inside is nice with modern wooden chairs and tables, Greek blue glass bottles as accents, and friendly, helpful wait staff. Prices are very reasonable: gyros are $8.49 and that fantastic baklava was $1.95 for a perfect portion. Highly recommended. read more
