I then received a very rude email stating that my eyes were shaped "extremely different" (duh, I know that, that's why I'm seeking help), and that the surgery wouldn't be helpful. No suggestions for an in person consultation. If I look so "extremely" uneven, wouldn't you at least want to try to help me? Photos are limited for evaluation. Also, I just mentioned what one doctor suggested years ago. Obviously I don't believe that what was mentioned then is still what I need. I just finished medical school and honestly, I'm still so peeved and hurt by this unprofessional encounter I felt the need to write. Having a congenital eye disorder results in a lot of insecurities, and having a sensitive bedside manner is really important when helping potential patients.
