This was my second visit to LaserDerm and on both occasions I had Heather. She was great. I have been able to get good results with the Fraxel Laser treatments. I would also recommend the micro-abrasion after a few days you can really see the difference. It smoothed out some of my deeper lines and brought a more even color to my face. I am pretty cost conscious and at LaserDerm the prices are high but when you compare it to some other places in the city its not as bad. If you are looking for a new place its worth the trip. Prior to this treatment, I have had 5 LHR treatments at another spa. That said, I know the results that I should be seeing. 1-2 weeks after treatment, most of the hairs should be falling out and no new growth should be seen for several weeks. A few days after my session here, my hairs started coming through at the same rate. However, not all of them began to shed. There are patches of hair in the area that are not shedding. When my session ended, I expressed concerns to the technician because there were patches of my skin that were not red (redness is typical reaction to lhr) so I was afraid some spots were missed. She assured me she covered all of the areas.. maybe it's a coincidence but I now have growth in those areas. Most estheticians will advise you to come back after two weeks for a touch up if you do not see desired results. That said, I emailed the practice with my concerns. The RN replied to my email and said to follow up with them in 4 weeks. Although, based on our conversation it doesn't sound like any touch-ups will be offered. Not sure if I'll want to pay for another session when I'm not super happy with the results of the last one. read more
