But honestly, Dr. G it's still fantastic. They are having some negotiation issues with delta, but that seems to be a problem across the board. Dr G is the best around. Our son was involved in an accident that caused severe dental damage. It was a an emergency situation, and he saw us right away - like 30 minutes after accident and trip to ER. As soon as our son got to his office, all fear subsided and he was emotionally fine - he knew he was in good hands. Got the teeth (roots and all) back in our kids mouth to try and save them - they were his front permanent teeth. Fast forward 2.5 yrs later .... we are in the next stages of treatment. 1 of the 3 teeth remain - thankfully! (The 2 that ended up not 'taking' was due to issues beyond Dr G's control). The tooth that remained is basically helping save the integrity of the bone structure, as our teen grows. While he has some fake teeth, and more work to be done - I'm at incredibly grateful for Dr G's quick response and action. Highly recommend!!! read more

Today was our first visit to Truckee Pediatric Dentistry and it was just fantastic! The staff was so nice and took the time to make our littles (14mo and 2y10mo) feel as comfortable as possible. We don't have dental insurance so you can either pay per appointment or buy their dental insurance. We opted for the pay per time since there were no major issues that needed to be addressed. Our 14mo received a free visit which was so helpful! The dental hygienist was so kind and wonderful, especially with my 14mo screaming child ‍. After both kiddos had their cleaning, Dr G came and took a look at their teeth. He answered all our questions and was very kind and patient. We will definitely be going back for all of our kids dental needs! read more

We were both apprehensive after that until we heard about Dr. G. Amazing is the only word I can think of to describe him. His approach truly is state of the art and so much less invasive and painful than traditional dentistry. We had an excellent experience with Dr Camille and the staff. My 9 yo daughter needed an emergency visit as the cap on her crown for a back molar teethe came off, and the jagged teethe was cutting her tongue and made it painful to drink and eat. The front desk was kind and helpful and we were able to come in that morning. My daughter was comfortable with the whole experience; the examination, cleaning, and putting her crown back in. We are so thankful for Dr Camille and this experience. The least evasive option was chosen to fix the problem and my daughter is comfortable with drinking and eating again. read more

My daughter is 11 and we've been going to TPD since she was 2. I've never been to a dentist office this nice. They think of everything to make the kids feel welcomed (bulletin board recognizing new clients and birthdays) and have games, ipads, movies to keep kids entertained. Dr. G is the best. This is hands-down, the absolute best pediatric dentistry around! Dr. G is my son's personal hero; he literally has not stopped talking about him since our first visit in 2017. He WANTS to brush his teeth, several times a day, because "Dr. G is going to say he's so proud of me!" That is priceless. Everyone in the office is so welcoming, kind, and informative. We have had nothing but positive experiences here. The dental hygienists are phenomenal. August of 2018, my son who was almost 3, decided he would not lay down and would hardly open his mouth. Alisha spent the sweetest time with him, didn't try to rush or force him at all, just showed him all the tools, let him touch everything, answered his thousands of questions and eventually did the whole cleaning with him sitting up. I brought both daughters here for their first visits. They are both pretty shy kids. However, the staff spoke to them directly and got them engaged right away. When we left, both kids actually exclaimed, "That was fun!" The hygienists were calming, sweet, and explained everything. Dr. G was of course great as well, and I felt as though the exam was extremely valuable and worth the time and money. With regards to COVID, they are going above and beyond to make the environment safe. I am being very cautious about COVID, and there wasn't a single concern for me during our visit. read more

This office is amazing! Every employee is extremely patient and knowledgeable. The dentist is super sweet and gentle with the kids - my 15 month old didn't even cry or whimper today! Dr. G and his staff are truly wonderful with kids! I love how he speaks to my kids and explains everything he will be doing and is doing all the while reassuring them and staying calm. When my son was younger he was traumatized by a dentist, (whom we never returned to) who strapped him down to assess him, (seems archaic). At Dr. G's office they have TV's playing cartoons everywhere to help kids take their minds off of what they are doing. You can see that Dr. G has a lot of compassion for kids and is very patient with them. My son took to this very well coming from the dentist prior. My only gripe and why I gave 4 stars and not 5, would be that the staff automatically sets our kids up for xrays every year, which I don't think is necessary, so we refuse and they oblige. It would be even more amazing if they offered more holistic options for dental treatment, however if you ask he is very open with information and gives you the options that he's aware of. We are very happy with Dr. G and give him a thumbs up! read more

Wonderful business! My 4 year old daughter has been going to them since she's had teeth. She gets excited to see the dentist! They are more than accommodating for myself and especially for my child. Six years ago my 2 year old son and I moved to Tahoe and saw Dr G. My son had gone through a bit of dental trauma before we arrived (who knew breastfeeding could be detrimental to baby teeth) and was not a fan of *any* dentist. Our first visit with Dr G then was just as amazing as it was today! I had to cancel his sixth month cleaning two weeks ago and today we were fortunate enough to get in because of a cancellation. Believe it or not my son wanted to get there earlier than our appointment (maybe to play video games...) and was SO proud when he left with a "no cavity" check up.
