I have always been a big Troy lee designs fan. I wear TLD knee braces, chest protector, soft armor underwear, and recently added the elbow guards. All of these items are made with superior quality, and I am very pleased. I even have a rolling TLD gear bag. Recently I was in need of a new riding jersey and pants so naturally I purchased a TLD set. After completing the first day wearing the pants I noticed they were torn. This was a normal day of riding with no falls or incidents. The damage is truly unexplainable. The material compares to canvas that has been exposed to numerous years of sun making it very very delicate. the pants quality is absolutely unacceptable for Troy lee designs. Even the overall design of the pants is poor. The knees are way to big (remember I wear TLD knee braces), and the butt area is also to big. My FOX, and Alpine Star gear fit much better. I contacted TLD customer service via email. After waiting a week for a response I finally called in. I explained what happened and asked for an exchange, but was denied. They offered a small discount, but it was more about the principal. The customer service agents were friendly however I feel like they have no discretion on the outcome of the call. After reading other reviews it's very transparent that TLD as a company does not put their customers satisfaction first. I am very very disappointed. I can honestly say I am done supporting what I thought was a fair company that had a smaller mom and pop feel. I generally buy top of the line gear. I believe in the "buy nice or buy twice" theory. It's not about the money or getting new free pants. I just wanted to get the quality that I expected with the first pair I purchased.. I will never buy Troy Lee Designs products again. I will also discourage others from doing so. There are many other companies that will take pride in their name and I choose to support them from now on. read more

Great selection of street clothing in addition to all apparel and safety gear needed for downhill, Moto, enduro, road, cross, or all mountain. Their street clothes buyer is killing it!! I go every few weeks to check out their new stuff. Jackets, shirts, pants, trunks, yoga pants... They are seriously killing it! Like a "street" nordstroms but better prices and better service. They have cool books, DVDs and lots of other cool stuff. I try and buy everything possible locally. Troy Lee makes it easier to do. Great store, great staff! Thank you for letting me exchange the new helmet I recently purchased online direct from Troy Lee Designs for a better size, at your store (I produced my receipt from 1 1/2 weeks ago). When you were gone downstairs, the young tall blonde haired gentleman was quite unexpectedly rude to me. He actually asked me in a condescending and mocking tone, "SO THAT'S WHAT THEY TOLD YOU AT CORONA [TLD headquarters], THAT THEY WERE OUT OF STOCK OF SIZE LARGE?" - indicating that either the Corona headquarters lied or equally bizarre that I was lying - not sure why I would lie or drive all around Orange County and Inland Empire to swap a size if I didn't have to. And no idea why Corona TLD would lie, and if they would, why would he take it out on me? In any event, it was an inappropriate and certainly odd and mean-spirited encounter. I've been riding for 30 years. And love motorcycles and motorcycle people. I debated about writing this review but did feel strongly that you need to know as it is obvious how you care about providing an exceptional and friendly experience. I am a business owner myself and employ several staff members, and know it is challenging. I pride myself on continuing to hopefully provide a respectful and decent experience through myself and staff. Since the shop itself is amazing, the quality and design are fantastic, I do not feel right in giving a 1 star rating. And as a business owner, I refuse to give another business such a rating, it pains me to even give the 2 star rating, but I hope with training that other customers will not have to go through such unusual experiences. Came in here about a week ago and bought some clearance knee pads. Came in today about 11am to return them and the manager who originally sold me the knee pads would only do a exchange. The barcode wouldn't scan when I bought them so she typed the number in and apparently mistyped the number. Because of her mistake she won't take them back. There's nothing in the receipt that states that if a store employee screws up you are getting screwed over. That's what happened. I returned well within the 30 days which is the only terms of return. She also claims that the actual size of the knee pad is wrong. However, these are kept in a net and are a 3 year old design. It cold be over the course of 3 years that they were switched. Regardless, I followed the terms of return and brought in the unused product and receipt to the same person who sold them to me. She then made up terms and argued with me and refused to return the items for her mistake. Previously I was impressed by the service here but now I refuse to buy anything Troy lee in the future. Illegal and unethical business practices. Avoid. read more

Sick shop/ race museum! great staff, great area ..difficult parking but worth it!

This is my husbands favorite store. I went there to shop for him and didn't find anything that I liked in a xxl so I left. I came back an hour later and the crazy lady that works there chased me and my children to my car and told us that she was going to tow my car. Really? I shopped in your store so I parked in your parking spaces. She ranted that people drive over an hour to shop in her store and that she needs the parking spots. Guess what lady I drove from an hour and twenty minutes away just to go to your store! There was an empty parking space right next to my car for her customers. Talk about horrible customer service. Even the man that works at North Menswear came out and was laughing at how she was yelling at me. Needless to say I will not be shopping there anymore neither will my husband. read more

I have grown up riding/racing troys products and I would never switch. The gear is top notch above all other companies but this shop is run like no other. Service has really turned around with the new crew and staff. All are knowledgable about the products and it's clear the customer is important. Biggest change seems to be that when you walk in they greet you and acknowledge you are there. Prior experience not so pleasant as I was left feeling like I interrupted social hour with friends - you know, that awkward third-wheel feeling. Glad to say that is no longer the case! Great products for bicycle or motorcycle apparel and some incredible custom works are suitable for display in a museum showcase. Great job Troy! read more

The store is under new management and has some new sales people as well. After the sales manager, Carmelit) reached out to let me know that they agreed I should have gotten the adjustment and that they'd changed store policy to make sure it it didn't happen again. The other day I decided to go in there and give it another shot. The experience couldn't have been more different. Both the lady (turned out to be Carmelit) and the sales guy (want to say his name was Tommy) were great and asked me if I needed any help every time I walked passed. The sales guy geared me through helmets I was looking at and even talked me into buying a pair of sunglasses I didn't even go in there for. Pumped I can start going back to the store because Troy Lee makes the best gear out there and the store has everything. Gotta love when they catch wind of poor service and make the adjustment. On the down side.....it's back to spending way more money than I should every time I go in the place! read more

This was our first visit to the shop, and it was noteworthy! The sales clerk (sorry, I forgot his name! :/), was amazing. He was enthusiastic, helpful & impressively knowledgable about all of the products in the store without being overbearing. My husband is a huge Troy Lee fan because of his helmets & gear, but I think Mr. Lee should be should also be applauded for a welcoming & professional sales staff. read more
