Update: Sent my kid to get food I ordered online. She was ignored in the drive-thru. Then she went in to pick up food & a smoothie. I could not add sweet potatoes from app, so she tried to order an add-on & got a kale salad instead. There was very little chicken on the flatbread & little sausage on the breakfast flatbread. Veggies on the "chicken" flat bread were lacking & kale salad didn't look or taste fresh at all. Staff was very unenthusiastic. It was not busy at all and the service & food were terrible. And then tried to pay for order 4 times in a row because their payment processor wasn't working. Used multiple different cards. Then the worker tells me it's on the house, seems nice. Then a different worker comes out and says I have to pay for it and takes my card and phone to try again. Doesn't work again. And then they take my phone for Apple Pay to the back and it finally works. They then give me my phone back and give me my order. I drive away and realize they only gave me half of my order. I placed an online order for pick up at 5:30 PM on 1/13/24. When I arrived the order was not ready and I was told by the female employee that the Green Dream yogurt bowl was not available. I requested a refund for the bowl that wasn't available so I could order a similar smoothie option. The employee said she couldn't do a refund without the "big boss". She explained that they couldn't refund it but I could try to cancel my order. By that time I couldn't cancel the order because it was past the expected time for the order to be ready for pick up. I explained to the employee that it didn't make any sense that in the store there wasn't a way to cancel the order or refund the item they didn't have and her explanation was it wasn't her fault but the big boss was going to update the app menu for that item. I then requested to get another bowl option that was available. The other food prep employee went to the back to get the ordered started and took approximately 8 minutes to return to the visible food prep area. He began to prepare the bowl and then brought it over. The amount of product and lack of product was not as shown on their menu. The quantity of yogurt base was about half of what should have been, there were no strawberries added as he only put blueberries. There was no honey added so there was no sweetener to truly appreciate what the mixed Berry yogurt bowl was supposed to truly taste like. The granola, almonds, and chia seeds were acceptable. I was very disappointed with my order as both employees at this store have not been given the proper training to solve an issue for the customer or how to prepare a new menu item well. read more

Drove from temple to enjoy a TSC smoothie. Pull up to the drive through just to be told they aren't taking orders. I see customers walk inside and the open sign on. So I decide to order inside. The workers look at me as I walk in and mumble under their breath as if they didn't want to serve me or were too busy. I used to love going to Tropical when I got out of class. I usually get the Chicken Pesto and the Bahama Mama. But recently every single time I go it takes 30 minutes or a little longer to get through the line with just 3-4 cars in front of me. Every time I order the chicken pesto, I order with light pesto and it comes out super hard around the edges almost burnt, loaded with pesto, and like 5 small pieces of chicken. Every time I have visited this location the service was beyond slow. Waited 30 min for food when we were the only ones there. The second time we visited we were given the wrong order. When we came back the worker was holding a child behind the counter while making food and proceeded to leave multiple times before helping us to talk on her personal phone and check on the child. She even left to drop the child off to grandma outside and didn't wash her hands afterwards.
