They have a variety of flavors, but since it's a unique place, I feel as though they should have samples cups to try because imagine spending $5 to $10 on a yogurt you don't even like the flavor of. (Which happened) Most places have a sample cup to pick a flavor you'd like. They won't even give you a spoon. It really killed our mood and made us not want to return. So this just happened yesterday and I don't have any pictures of course, but I went to get raspberry cheesecake ice cream, and Juice WRLD after paying $36 in total for all three of my ice cream cups. I noticed that one had two nets in there so I took it to the front and asked for a refund after getting the runaround for some time they told me I could get free ice cream to replace it and I was like no that's OK. I would just like the refund because obviously the machines are not clean enough for me to be getting ice cream they wouldn't be nuts in my ice cream if they were clean already so again after after them giving me the runaround she gave me $8.27 back I had three ice cream cups one was $16 when it was $12 and one was eight dollars. She gave me the one that was eight dollars. She gave me a refund for that one yet that was not the one that needed to be refunded she needed to give me $12 back. The principle of the situation was just that she was very rude her nor her manager helped it's very unprofessional very childish, laughing the whole entire situation have it as if this wasn't a serious complaint and yeah, got the nerve to have bugs in your ice cream, but wanna be mad at me so I've called the health department on these people. They do not deserve to be open with a attitude like that and have bugs, pick a struggle.. of course you can't see the bugs in the cup in the picture but the picture is just the reference that she gave me eight dollars back for a cup that was worth well. My little sister have a cup that's worth eight. I had a cup that was worth 12. I did not notice the ice cream had bugs until after I took a bite then I moved the cheesecake cube and there was another bug up under there besides the one that's in the melted ice cream. Their customer service is is horrible and there was no manager on site. I had to wait until they can text her because apparently they couldn't call her and when they did call her they basically still didn't help because at the end of the day I was still mad in the situation was dissolved. U-Swirl was a welcome treat that combined a good product with excellent & exuberant customer service. The concept of this frozen yogurt franchise is one where you have to "weigh & pay." While you have the traditional frozen yogurt flavors of chocolate, vanilla & strawberry, there were other flavors such as coconut creme, and Reese's Pieces. After choosing your flavor, you can put any topping from fruit to gummi bears (there was also Little Debbie Snack Cakes as well) that would add to the combined weight of the cup, which comes in three sizes + one that had a waffle cone placed within the canister. My total for a small cup with three toppings (I went heavy on the gummi bears) was $5 and change. Yet prior to that, you can sample as many flavors as you want through the use of small souffle cups. This alone was different from that of a standard TCBY location (if you can find one these days). The ladies behind the counter were very laid back and quite enthusiastic, which made the visit all the more fun and appreciated. If I could give no stars for this place I sure would do it. This frozen "yogurt" is just awful. It's icy and just not good at all although I must say the waffle cone was tasty. Just as bad was the girl working the register. They certainly don't consider customer service a priority. She only spoke to give us our total and that was after we stood at the register waiting for her to come over and ring us up almost 4 mins. We could see her in the door going into the back room but she was busy chatting it up with other employees and breaking down boxes. We will not be returning. I have been to U-Swirl a couple of times within the last three months. Every time I have been, the shop smells like an onion. I don't know what's going on, but it's extremely difficult picking out a yogurt flavor while being knocked over by the smell of onions. They've got a great selection of flavors on rotation (bring back the mint please!) in either frozen yogurt, sorbet, or gelato -- each flavor describes calorie content, etc. Toppings include an assortment of fruit, boba, a variety of chocolate types, candy, cookie dough, and syrups you're able to load up yourself. The staff is always friendly, and this place is usually moderately busy. It's super crowded at peak hours, but that's never an issue in terms of service or enjoyment. Great place for kids, adults, groups, families. They even offer an assortment of boardgames / tabletop games to loan out. Seating is plentiful inside, and there's even a few tables outside. Nice music plays in the background. The frozen yogurt is self-serve, and they are super generous in terms of being able to get free samples to try out flavors. I've been to some fro-yo places that are a bit too heavy or ice creamy in style, but this stuff is super light and fresh tasting. My only point of feedback would be for U-Swirl to maybe post a schedule of upcoming flavors. Sometimes they offer great stuff and I never know when it'll be on rotation again. My boyfriend and I came here about 10 minutes before closing on a Friday night after a long day of classes, opened the door, and they told us they were closed even though their door said they closed at 11pm, and we arrived at 10:52pm. First of all, the frozen yogurt was freaking delicious. The other night The Boy and I had just eaten dinner and wanted something sweet. It was a little after 10 and everything was kinda looking closed. THEN, out of the corner of our eyes, we saw the lights of U-Swirl. I jumped on Yelp!, saw the great review, and we decided to try it out. Walking up to the door, we saw that after 10 o'clock, it's BOGO free! Exciting. Also, if you go on a Wednesday and guess the weight of your frozen yogurt correctly, you get it free. Yippee! I love free stuff. The atmosphere of the place was pretty fun. They had some top 40 hits going. Large chairs. Little tables. Big booths. All mix-matchy. There were a couple families and some college kids there when we went, so it's a very family friendly place. This is the yogurt shop we go to when in Waco. Love the Harry Potter Butterbeer yogurt, get it every time. It's a cute shop with nice staff. We tend to fill up the lounge section when we go. Lots of toppings to choose from but I tend to get more of that Butterbeer yogurt so don't dwell too much on toppings. read more
