Stopped in for ice cream for a few family members, as I don't eat ice cream very often. Parking was easy. Half a dozen or so people inside with three or four people in the drive-through line. Reasonably prompt service. Reasonable prices for ice cream, which has gotten fairly pricey at these ice cream shops. The folks that had the ice cream said it was very good. I hadn't been to this location in several years and thought it felt kind of tired. Perhaps it needs better lighting, or a fresh, brighter, coat of paint, or something. Initially I thought Drive-thru, but then I decided to go in. The place was impeccably clean - not tables with residual sticky notes from former customers or floors that grabbed your feet as if to not to have you leave. The staff were very respectful and mature, and the ice cream was (as usual) amazing. I highly recommend this location! read more

My previous experiences have always been very good. Tonight....way under par. The gal who was behind the counter had an attitude showing that she would rather be anywhere else. When I gave her my order she slapped the scoop around, giving no response. I ordered 2 scoops in a waffle cone. Normally I receive 2 scoops that fill the cone appropriately. She gave me 2 child size scoops that could roll around in the cone with room for 3 more. I was checked out by a different male worker. She said nothing else. Needless to say, NO TIP. Impressed w the new place. It is down the road from the old location. There is a drive thru in the new one. There is much more space here than the old location. The furniture is more comfortable. There are bathrooms now. Basically all the positives from the old store like very polite employees and great tasting ice creams and none of the negatives really. I like the operating hours. The ice cream is reasonably priced and in line w the competition in the area. They also now have a party room for rent for ice cream parties. I took a pic of the sign for that. You can bring other types of food except for ice cream and sweets and beverages and there is a minimum purchase that is described in the pic I took. The old place was frankly dated. This one is a lot more modern and like a place I wouldn't mind staying a bit and having a conversation w my wife or a friend. I suggest you come check out the new BR. read more

If I could give less than 1 star for this location I would. We've given this location several attempts and each and every time they are out of every basic ingredient. What ice cream store doesn't have vanilla or chocolate ice cream or strawberry topping or bananas for banana splits. To top it off the sub-par, eye-rolling, lip smacking staff running the store add an extra layer of enjoyment to already wasted trips. We just went in for ice cream at 9:35pm when they close at 10pm. The young girl working there was very rude telling us we had to order immediately and leave. We got our order and left within 4 minutes - they still would be open 20 minutes longer. There was no need to be so rude and pushy about getting out right away. Ice cream was good though! read more

They just moved across the street from their old location. Everything is still great. There is even more space in fact! It's still under construction, so please be patient. They are going to be having a drive thru. A DRIVE THRU!! The staff all seem to be young. When I went in, a bunch of them were dancing to whatever music was playing. Idk about it being professional (idk how professional you gotta be at an ice cream parlor lol) but someone did help me with my order. The prices aren't cheap but they're not outrageously expensive. Customer service is terrible. I went there on Sunday to get an ice cream. There was a guy in the back cleaning with a water hose. He saw me in the drive thru and turned away and kept cleaning. He looked up again and then he went and talked to someone in a black suv. He went back to where he was cleaning and then he finally went into to building. He waved me up to the window and said they were closed. They are supposed to be opened at 11, it was 11:30. If they weren't going to be open at 11 there should be a sign up stating that. He also could have told me that sooner, instead of making me wait. I'll just go to Freddy's Custard from now on, they appreciate their customers better. read more

The only thing open past 10pm on a weekend is common grounds [coffee] or georges [bar]. The Baskin Robbins in Waco has had excellent service every time I have been there. Okay, I'm born and raised in NYC, which is 99999x more cosmo than Waco, and even in the city that never sleeps, ice cream places are NOT open til 10pm on weekdays unless they're in Times Square. In all seriousness, I love the ice cream. I'm downing a Belgian Waffle Sundae as I type this. However, no public bathroom in a public restaurant is a major no-no to me. When I asked for one on behalf of someone with a medical condition that required immediate bathroom access, I was told they had "their" bathroom and we weren't allowed to use it. Additionally, almost every time I order a "to go" order, they forget my napkins and spoons. This is not an issue when I'm heading home, but when my mom was dying of cancer, one of the only foods she could handle in the hospital was ice cream...so no napkins and spoons at 10 o'clock at night in the hospital was a bit of a problem. read more

This is the worst place ever for service. You have someone behind the counter that starts to wait on you and then he just go off to wait on another customer and you are left standing there, then you have the super dizzy blond that doesn't know what is going on running around trying give the ice cream you have ordered to someone else. The first time visiting the new location and we were not impressed with the move. There was a sewer smell and some type of leak in the front of the building. The inside dining area is small and all the tables were taken so we went to sit outside but the outside tables were haphazardly sitting on the side of the building in a bunch of long grass and weeds. I would absolutely not recommend this place. The girls working acted like they didn't want to serve you. One asked spelling of a name for the cake. Get home & take it out of the freezer bag & they still spelled the name wrong. Also was not aware she was writing on it yet as we were waiting to also order Ice cream and she NEVER asked what color. Oreo cake comes back with ORANGE icing. Always great ice cream and the staff is very friendly. The dinning/seating area is small and unable to accommodate many family especially families with multiple children but still great ice cream and the place is well kept as it has always been clean and tidy when I have gone in. The downside is (as fruitchicken W) stated there is not a public bathroom and that is a negative in my book. Don't let the lack of bathroom keep your from its wonderful ice cream though. read more

Baskin Robbins has a large selection of ice cream. So many great flavors to choose from. This location is pretty small though. Also, BR is pretty pricey. You can good higher quality ice cream elsewhere. Nothing to special besides the variety of flavors. read more

I went with my friend to pick up an ice cream cake. When we walked in, there was only one worker and she was on a personal call. She saw us standing there and went to the back. While she was gone, a man came in and stood at a different part of the counter. When she came back, she looked at us, then went to help the man that came in AFTER us. She was dressed really inappropriately, and had the worst attitude. Every time i tried to ask her a question, she acted like I was a complete idiot. Without any help whatsoever from her, i finally found a cake. When we tried the cake at home, it was not good at all. the ice cream had no flavor and tasted like it had been in the freezer for way too long. the cookies on top were hard and crumbly. the only decent thing about the cake was the chocolate frosting.
