My mom and I stopped by this Waco staple on our girls trip to Magnolia. Milk bottle did not disappoint! All the articles on Pinterest and reviews were spot on stating this is a must to stop by on your trip to Waco. We were greeted when we walked in and she was SO nice, I believe she's the owner! They had a cute gingerbread house competition going on & you could vote for your favorite house. The Christmas decorations were amazing. But the feel was cozy and modern with a rustic touch. SO CUTE! All the details. The cookies are massive and they're INCREDIBLE! Out in California the closest thing we have to this is Crumbl. There is no comparison. Additionally, I would way more prefer to spend my hard earned money supporting small business! My mom and I each got a cookie. We wanted to bring something home to the family so we bought one of everything. The owner was so sweet and went above and beyond. She individually wrapped each cookie and placed it in a box with crinkle paper to protect them. They made it all the way back to California and we didn't taste test them till about three days later. The ambiance and service are great. The cookies are honestly pretty bad for $6 each. They have a strong butter flavor and little specialty cookie flavor. We tried the cookies and creme, Milky Way, and star crunch. My wife who loves everything sweets wouldn't finish any of them. I finished the star crunch just because we spent so much. This bakery was highly recommended by my sister in law. So the family decided to drop in for an afternoon coffee and sweet tooth break. For our coffee, youngest daughter went with latte and Mrs and I shared an Americano. To satisfy our sweet tooth, we shared a peanut butter, cookie & cream, chocolate chips, and Tigre Butter cookies. The coffees were excellent with perfect temperature and taste. All four cookies were of the chewy variety. The size was traditional, not too big or small. The flavor and sweetness were sport on. All four cookies complemented our coffee perfectly. We got the caffeine and sugar high that we were seeking. The interior was roomy, bright, and clean. Employees were very friendly and efficient. First visit here and truly was a sweet treat. Inspired by the love of sweets and a nostalgic memories of a grandpa who loved and enjoyed storing candies, cookies and ice cream around the house , this store was established 3 years ago. Store has a very rustic interior with a long window counter table and high stool chairs. Greeted warmly by a staff behind the counter as we entered and we scrumptiously browsed the cookies in the display counter. Loved my chocolate chip cookie. The lavish quantities of chocolate morsels on top were baked to a crunchiness to perfection and with milk I left no crumble uneaten. My grandkids shared the strawberry & oreo cream cookie which they enjoyed finishing it to the last crumb. Cookies are larger and soft, tasty and not overly sweet. A neutral gender washroom available and a cozy lounge area for group and few tables and chairs as well! Surely will stop by again on my next visit. read more

my family and i were passing through waco on the way to the state fair. on our walk back to the car from dinner(milo is a great place for dinner) we walked past milk bottle and it caught out attention so fast. we got the chocolate chip and orange cranberry cookie. these were the best cookies ive ever had..... i am so sad we do not live near waco, but its good bc id be there so often. it was a cute little shop that also sold coffee and had a good amount of seating. we also got milk and they let us know it was local which was a great suprise. the young ladies working there were so sweet and explained every cookie flavor to us. An update to my Small Biz Saturday review. We have eaten all cookies purchased. Hands down...the No Bake Chocolate is my favorite! My grandma made these for me every Christmas and their saucer-sized version does not disappoint. Second favorite...the Chocolate Chip. It was hard to share that one. As for the Cookies and Cream and the Snickerdoodle, these were sugar cookie dough flavor strong. I would like more vanilla and cinnamon in the Snickerdoodle and it might be nice if the Cookies and Cream had some chocolate powder in the dough. Very good cookies. Pretty space. They have your classic chocolate chip flavor but also seasonal flavors including a peanut butter cookie that comes with a delicious strawberry glaze. They also had a waffle cone cookie that looked good! I got the peanut butter cookie. The combination of salty peanut butter with a sweet strawberry glaze goes so well together! It was delicious! The cookies are very big and soft! I wish we would've had the option to warm them up. But we ended up eating about half our cookies and saving the rest for later. I truly do not make time to write Yelp reviews much anymore, but I have to for this one. I had brought my child with me to get some cookies, and $18 later, we purchased 3 cookies. Cute little shop, smelled good inside, staff friendly, and cookies appeared decent. Not the case...... I had cut in half a strawberry lemonade cookie to share with a friend. The inside appeared underbaked. We had both tried the cookie, and both of us had to throw it away. The cookie was very large and domed in the center under all the frosting. The inside of the cookie was underbaked. There was a griddy texture as the sugar had not been creamed well enough or baked long enough. The middle of the cookie also had a doughy feel, so much so you could even taste the raw flour, which is unsafe for human consumption. The frosting was super sweet, had an artificial lemon taste, and did not compliment the raw cookie at all. It was almost like there were chunks of lemon start burst candies in the frosting or lemon head candies. Nothing about this cookie was good, and it sure did not taste like a strawberry lemonade anything. I am now very afraid to cut open and share the other 2 cookies with my child as they are domed in the middle and most likely raw as well. We discovered this cookie shop from watching a YouTube video. We had it on our list of places to go while visiting Waco. First of all the staff working that day were absolutely delightful. We pretty much bought one of everything they had. The peanut butter was my husband's favorite, but he enjoyed all of the flavors. Mine was the citrus butter cookie, but again they were all good! I was told the cookies would arrive next day, and when they did not was told, "When we ship the order is estimated as one day, but I do not work for the post office and unable to provide reason for delay. Loved this place! Stopped at the Magnolia Silos on the way home from Austin to Dallas and promised my girls bakery treats. Well the magnolia bakery line was wrapped around 2 blocks and not something we were going to wait in. My 4 and 6 year old had done so well, wanted to follow thru on promise so I yelped other bakeries and this was just down the street. The cookies are huge and very tall - which usually aren't super soft, so I was skeptical but that was a ridiculous thought and they were quite possibly the very best from a bakery I've ever had. We got a cookies and cream, a sugar cookie with white choc chips and sprinkles (maybe seasonal?) and regular choco chip - amazing.
