We came strolling in for a drink... very limited cold drinks.. two choices. I ordered the strawberry matcha latte. Not a fan of matcha but figured strawberry sounded interesting. Wrong. If you're not a fan of matcha, no other flavor will make up for the drink. I took a few sips and couldn't finish. The barista said it was popular... It's a clean and spacious coffee / pastry shop. There's some gift items in here too. Bathroom is clean and well kept.
When in Texas . . made the short little drive from San Antonio to visit Waco & see what the Magnolia Market is all about. Started the Magnolia trip with a stop for a latte! I was a little sad they didn't have lavender syrup, but I still enjoyed a delicious caramel latte! The pastries looked delicious but I didn't try any this time. I'd say this is a must visit if you're in the area!
Walking in I found a clear line for ordering that took me by a lot of merch. I also quickly noticed how the shop felt nice and open. The employees were cheerful, but not so much as to be annoying at 7:00 am! I greatly appreciated that! Even though there was a big group in front of me, my wait for my drink wasn't very long. I was pleasantly surprised. My iced cranberry tea was nice, tart and refreshing. I found it to be a very unique drink offering! I spoke to a group waiting for their drinks and was told that they work nearby and come by everyday. They love this coffee house. That's a great recommendation! If I ever return to this area again, I will return to this coffee shop.
Omg! This place! From the decor, to the outstanding service , to our delicious latte! This is the whole package. Cute little seating areas from more intimate booths to a study style library desk benches . Our 1905 iced coffee house brew was perfect! Had a great balance of sweetness while still being able to taste the coffee.
This place is absolutely stunning and cute. You could work here for hours and it is such a nice atmosphere, much like everything in the Silos. Prices were typical of a coffee shop and the coffee was good. We got a latte and cold brew (strong!). The girls that work there are super sweet and service was fast.
I happened to be in Plano over the weekend for a conference so since I came this far, I hopped on a bus to Waco, scheduled myself less than 24 hours in Waco, and here is one of my #MagnoliaMonday stops. I was actually glad that I got to see everything just a few days before #Silobration. But mark my words, I plan to go back one day for the full event! I had one goal for stopping in here, I wanted to sip on their 1905 latte while journaling in my notebook. I was excited to try this as a special treat. It is way more decadent than I normally order in a latte. Overall, I was really pleasantly surprised because I thought it could possibly be too sweet and rich but the flavors balanced out so you do feel that it is a richer latte, but not overly sweet. I really enjoy the seating that they have available. The wood booths with the luxurious dark green walls invite friends to linger. Since I was by myself and planning to stay for a while and journal read, I went to the long open community tables. But there are comfy couches and there are also tables with stools right up against the window. Whatever it is, you feel like you want to go with your coffee, they have it. Again, I'm going to have to save a lot more money when I come back for a longer trip because there are so many little mementos that I wanted to pick up. Will also have to make sure I have an extra suitcase in a backpack and could not purchase any fun stuff. I love also that this store opens right up into the large home store next-door so you can wander through. Be back soon!

The coffee was what I needed from a long drive. It really hit the spot. They also had parfaits that much son enjoyed. If youre visiting Waco, this is a must stop to get your caffeine fix.
Second time trying this coffee shop and I loved it I wish it was closer to where we live. We stopped by magnolia coffee press on our was to south Texas and was very happy with the coffee and overall experience. It was busy but the line wasn't too long and it moved fast. I tried the iced vanilla latte and my husband tried the iced snickerdoodle latte from the seasonal menu. Both drinks were very good , I loved the ambiance of the coffee shop with plenty of seating as well as seating while you wait for your drinks. Also the drinks are super affordable and in line with most coffee shops is not cheaper than a lot of places. Overall I cannot recommend this coffee shop enough. If you are driving past Waco at any point this holiday season they have Christmas at the silos right now so it's very festive with lots of stuff to do including getting some good coffee.
The store is so cute and homely, and I wouldn't expect anything less from Joanna! The staff were friendly and very helpful (pro tip: if you buy a mug you get a free latte! And you can buy more than one mug in a transaction to get your free lattes). I initially wanted to order the matcha, but decided against it as the matcha isn't ceremonial-grade in quality. I ordered the pumpkin spice and it was very good, but nothing really stood out to me as far as flavor. Definitely a great coffee shop if you're in the area, or visiting for the shops!
This coffee shop is a very popular cafe with tourist as well as Waco locals!!! Owned by the famous husband and wife FIXER UPPER stars Chip and Joanna Gaines. Served here are variety of pastries , muffins, chocolate cakes, croissant soufflés, teas and coffee from drip to latte!! Had a chance to eat the Almond Croissant which was filled with almond spread and topped with almond slices and powdered sugar!! Stellar service no matter how busy it gets!! read more
Magnolia Press was our first stop and entry point to the Magnolia Market while in Waco. The line was out the door, but moving fairly quickly, taking us about 10 minute from outside to the counter. They were controlling the line and crowds well. Magnolia Press is their house coffee shop serving up all the coffee house classic beverages and snacks. Beverages were all the basics with a few specialty drinks, both hot and cold. The food was standard breakfast sandwiches and pastries. Prices for everything were moderate, but expected. I went with an iced mocha and chocolate croissant, while my partner went with a breakfast croissant. The food came out a few minutes before the drink, so we munched on the goods while we waited for the coffee. The food was good and the drink was tasty. It hit the spot for sure! The flow can get a bit backed up depending on how busy the baristas are...and they were busy! We waited a longer time after ordering than we did in line to order, but neither wait was egregiously long. Once we got the coffee, we made our way outside to the courtyard. We passed the small, but cute dining room. The space is gorgeous, perfect coffee house and Magnolia vibes. Overall, great entry point to the market. Lovely vibes and decent coffee! read more
Cute coffeeshop at Magnolia Silos! A great place to hang out with friends or just buy coffee and head over to the lawn or walk around. I ordered the 1905 which was very good and it came out very fast. The tables were slightly dirty but what can you expect. read more

Good coffee, I had the latte, The croissant cheddar & pepper muffin was really good, and they heat it up in an oven. Nothing better than hot fresh pastries! The line moves relatively fast, so don't be discouraged. read more

One of my favorite things in life: coffee. What better place to start my first coffee review with than Magnolia Press. Not gonna lie... I'm biased with anything and everything Joanna Gaines touches. Freaking amazing! The staff was super friendly and we didnt have to wait very long to order either. Got our orders within minutes but even if it was longer I wouldn't have minded. So much to browse around and look at in there. It's beautifully designed and cleverly done. I absolutely love the choice of green for the paint work. Gorge. The interior is one thing but man oh man... the exterior is beyond beautiful. Such a nice, welcoming area... you can't help but want to lounge around/explore. I've been here twice now... if I lived in Texas (Waco), I'd probably be in the Silos area everyday. I've tried the seasonal iced tea and the seasonal coffee (iced and hot) here. Tea was refreshing and coffee was delicious! Perfect for my short visits there. Very satisfied. I wish we could have more areas like this in Fresno, CA. Come on Fresno, take notes! read more

It's been awhile since we've been in the area, and to our surprise there was a Magnolia coffee shop! So of course we had to check it out and try out some coffees! We were greeted with extremely friendly baristas and adorable merch. We picked up the 1905 syrup because I had a feeling we were going to enjoy the latte. I chose their seasonal drink which was the Black Forest Mocha (Cherry flavored mocha topped with cherry cold foam), and it was good but I enjoyed my husband's choice more! He got The 1905 (House latte infused with toasted marshmallow, vanilla, and caramel). It's subtly sweet, but not too overpowering where you can't taste the coffee. We're actually happy that we now have a bottle of their syrup so we can enjoy it at home too! Can't wait to be back! read more

This review is based on me going in knowing I wouldn't be getting a 10/10 ceremonial grade matcha latte. However, with how cute, cozy, and absolutely nice the interior is, it's the perfect spot to stop by and grab a table to escape the Texas heat on your day in Waco. We got the seasonal peach matcha latte and it was pretty good. I wasn't mad about it. We didn't try their coffee or anything else, but would recommend for the perfect pit stop. read more

She is super nice! Strawberry Matcha. Refreshing said the IG model! Haha! Pistacchio Latte avec quatre shots! Of course, when in Waco. quad is the only way to replenish the caffeine deficit. Brynn said iced. Iced it is. Awesome! Ladies, it is like drinking an ice cream cone! A triple definite repeater! And they have Sparkling water on tap! Oui Oui, mademoiselle! Our first stop at the Silos on a hot morning had to be Magnolia Press. We got an iced latte, a hot 1905 latte, and the Magnolia Press chocolate cake. Both coffees were solid, with the 1905 latte being on the line of the right amount vs. a bit too sweet, and the chocolate cake turned out to be a Ding Dong, if you remember those from childhood snack packs. It was good but it was not a slice or chocolate cake, so here's your warning if that's what you were expecting! read more

Very spacious beautiful place to hang out with family or friends. The cold brew is delicious. They have many drinks to choose from. I wish they had more selection on pastries so we could enjoy with our coffee. A bit disappointed with the desserts at Magnolia overall. They look like packaged pastries from a wholesaler. The service is was great. Very friendly and attentive. Overall a great ambiance here cause it's so pretty and spacious with high ceilings. read more
I came here briefly to explore Waco landmarks before making my way home to Austin. My mom and sister spoke highly of the experience overall. I stopped here near the end of my Magnolia adventure and luckily caught a fairly short line. I got the strawberry matcha latte. It wasn't terrible nor was it amazing. I thought the matcha was too strong and the strawberry part too sweet, and they didnt mesh well. I've been to places where they mesh a lot better. Aside from that, I was underwhelmed by Magnolia itself. Probably is more fun if you have more disposable income to spend on the nice home goods in the market as well as gifts in boutiques. There were some cute food trucks that folks can try as well. I just felt the whole thing was super contrived and fake, really just to produce nice social media content - which is hard when you're there solo. read more

This is such a cute little coffee shop with modern charm. I ordered a frozen latte and paid extra to get the 1905 syrup added. Lemme tell you, that was the best decision ever. This was one of the best frappes I have ever had in my life and it was honestly reasonably priced. read more
I'm telling you, this ain't it. Service is so slow, felt like they do that set up so the line looks out the door to draw more attention. Everything feels gimmicky. My iced latte tasted very watered down. I was expecting something better, but i'd say Starbucks is better. Also the pastries were super disappointing. i had the chocolate press cake and it was not good at all. Like it was so dry and bland, i didn't even wanna finish it. My husband had the coffee cake and it tasted like walmart pastries. I guess appearances is what they are known for- not quite the quality behind it. I will say the frozen lattes looked good when i saw others order them. Anyhoo, seems like they are just trying to cash in every part of the area but even the coffee shop. Mugs and tshirts for sale inside/ too touristy. The seating/tables were also dirty and it felt like no AC inside the TX heat. I personally wouldn't come back and there are some other local coffee shops that's looked really good in the area instead. read more
Never have I ever gone back to the same place twice in one day, but my mom loved the coffee so much that we went back for a second time after walking around the Silos. We both got lattes (hers was a decaf). We enjoyed our baked goods from the Silos Baking Co with our first batch of iced lattes and took our second helping of coffee to go with us. It was easy to order and there were plenty of empty seats while we visited. The booth was very comfortable. They have some parking right in front of the shop if you can snag a spot. read more

This was my first visit and not the last! I ordered a frozen Carmel latte and it was amazing on a hot Texas morning. Coffee didn't have a bitter taste, very smooth. Service was nice and efficient. Decor was warm and inviting. I also had the almond croissant which was too beautiful to eat but I did. It was fresh and delicious. read more

Very cute coffee shop in the magnolia market! We got oat milk lattes and they were very good. Definitely a great spot to enjoy a coffee with friends and it has a lot of seating. Go on a weekday, it's not busy. People say that it can get very crowded at the magnolia market. read more

Ordering matchas at coffee shops can be a hit or miss. The matcha here is amazing and one of the best I've had. For tea lovers, this spot is a must! My friend got an iced chai and he loved his too. I'll have to come back some time and try the food and coffee. The service was fast and the ambiance was nice. read more
