This is one of the many shops on heritage homestead property. Everything is so carefully curated.Let's just say if it is a cult they would have gotten me lol As you enter you get a great smell of chocolate from outside the building. All their flavored syrups are made by them.I probably should have ordered different because my coffee was alright. I should have tried one of their specialty drinks. But I got a cold brew with lavender. I would have loved to see them making chocolate and for that very reason I would come back.

Heritage Coffee has been on my bucket list to visit in Waco, and I'm thrilled that I finally came! My friend and I ordered a white fredo and a strawberry cold brew. The white fredo was sweet and delicious. I couldn't taste the strawberry much in the cold brew, but it added a bit of sweetness that I enjoyed. I love how the beans, syrup, and whipped cream are made in-house, which makes it even more special. Additionally, the interior design is phenomenal. It's beautifully decorated with wide windows all around to showcase the nature outside. It felt so serene to drink coffee and enjoy the beautiful view.

Fantastic delicious coffee the waitress was really nice and the seasonal lattes mochas and frappes are REALLY good and rated just right this is a great place for breakfast coffee or for a coffee date

Having worked in coffee (in Oregon, the coffee snob capital) you can have confidence in this review. Heritage coffee is definitely in my top 5 coffee shops of all time, and may even be in the top 2... First off, you won't find a more beautiful coffee shop. I could have sat there all day. But the coffee itself was just really intentionally prepared. My pour over was great. My freddo latte was great (yeah I ordered two drinks). My wife's mocha was frothy and the homemade syrup was not overly sweet. Really a perfect coffee experience. Wake up and get over here instead of waiting in line at hgtv land coffee.

Baylor Grad ‍ Weekend in Waco! This place was the calm before the craziness of graduation. Our Bear brought the whole extended family here on a sunny Friday afternoon. After we had a hearty brunch at the Cafe Homestead restaurant, we came to Heritage Coffee for their lovely , fragrant unique drinks! - the younger kiddos had plenty of space to run around and enjoy the butterfly garden. We explored the cheese cave. I couldn't leave without picking up my daughter's favorite drink syrup-Lavender Blossom- I'm going to surprise her with one of her favorite memories of Waco when she finally packs up and comes home for the summer. The young ladies behind the counter were very sweet and attentive to each customer. Waco is lucky to have this grounded and prosperous little community in their midst. Thank you Heritage Coffee for providing a safe and serene space for my daughter to study in during her years at Baylor.

We visited Heritage Coffee on a Sunday afternoon. It was busy but there were still some open tables. We placed our order with a very friendly young lady who was very helpful. I ordered the Affogato and a coffee. Let me tell you that was the best affogato I have ever had outside of Italy. The ice cream in there was soooo good. Coffee tasted great too. The seating area had this cozy little corner with comfy chairs like in a living room. Loved the ambiance. Highly recommend if you are in the area. read more

Great stop for a cup. $3 for an americano. Coffee is well above average, friendly staff, comfortable tables to relax and enjoy your coffee. Wife liked the maple brown sugar syrup in her coffee, I thought the coffee was good enough so you didn't have to add anything. read more

You certainly cannot find your way to Heritage Coffee without explicitly emersing yourself into the world of homesteading. Walking around the spreadout community brings you to the reality of hard working homesteaders demonstrating the actual work it takes to make all the things we take advantge of daily. Then you find Heritage Coffee - a short drive if you're trying to stay unfrozen during a mid-Febryary visit - sitting in a small cover of an otherwise large building. The ambiance as you walk in is...basic...unassuming...a coffee shop, just like the one down the street. But then you get to the counter, and the customer service wows you. An offer to create a drink from scratch based on a question, the explanation of why Heritage Coffee is set apart from all other coffees. Small seating areas allow for great people watching, or quiet conversations. The coffee was not the driver of a fourth start, we'll keep that right there at about a 2.5/3...it's all about the customer service and the ambiance for Heritage Coffee. read more

This place is so quaint! Very quiet and peaceful and the staff is so polite and extremely friendly. The building itself has high vaulted ceilings with huge picture windows that let in a ton of natural light. Instrumental music plays in the background creating a relaxing atmosphere. The food (scones and muffins) are delicious and the specialty coffees are incredible - sweet treats! Highly recommend! read more

We were visiting Waco and decided to check out Heritage since it wasn't far from where we were staying. We LOVED it!! We were sending videos to friends because of how beautiful it is. What a BEAUTIFUL place! The windows give a greenhouse feel, letting all the light in. Plenty of seating from large booths to comfy leather chairs by the windows. The earl grey scone was on point and so were the drinks. And I can't forget the sweet smiling faces we were greeted with at the counter! The minute you walk in the awesome aroma hits you. The place is bright and cheery with floor to ceiling windows. The employees are so friendly and informative. We had two cold iced coffees. One was a cocoa mint and one was called butterfly. The butterfly changes colors from blue to purple. read more

It's difficult to find a place that makes a decent London Fog outside of the Pacific Northwest. That being said, come to the northern outskirts of Waco, TX to have one as good as I ever had. My wife's vanilla latte was excellent as well. Quiet, serene atmosphere and very pleasant baristas. read more

Cute little coffee shop that actually isn't so little. First time here after a brief walk from our VRBO nearby. We all got the salt mocha. I grabbed some sweetener, thinking we might need to doctor them up a bit. As it turns out, the taste was perfect and they were plenty sweet, so no extra sweetener was needed. read more

The flow can get a bit backed up depending on how busy the baristas are...and they were busy! We waited a longer time after ordering than we did in line to order, but neither wait was egregiously long. Once we got the coffee, we made our way outside to the courtyard. We passed the small, but cute dining room. The space is gorgeous, perfect coffee house and Magnolia vibes. Overall, great entry point to the market. Lovely vibes and decent coffee!

We spent a little time browsing the shop before going to the cafe. The cafe itself is so welcoming and spacious! Not a great ton of seating available but there's outdoor seating area with turf, which I can see is a huge plus when cooler weather arrives. I love the signs on the wall, very motivating sayings and quotes. For food, I had the avocado toast with bacon and fried egg and an espresso. It was delicious! Price point was good and food came out hot and fresh. I noticed when we were there, the lady at the counter (presumably the manager) was addressing the patrons by name, which was such a nice touch to see. It feels like this place really cares for their customers and is an established place in the local community. Parking is free and ample spaces available when we went there on a Friday morning. I like this place so much I ended up bringing my family there the following week. Support a good cause and eat a nutritious meal at the same time. Go visit!

An elevated brewery pub, if you will. The decor definitely lends to that vibe. The food is really good and I dare to compare it to food we've had in Germany. I also love that they do a playful fusions of sorts with Texas & Czech foods. For example, the Czexan Potted Beer Cheese has a combo of sausages, peppers, meats, breads, and a cheese spread made with Czech beer. Perfect appetizer for two people and then some. My boyfriend loves the Texan Pocket Schnitzel. It's fried pork filled with jalapeños, ham, and cheese, served with mashed potatoes. I like the classic, authentic version of this. They do a fine job! I also love the Bavarian pretzel. It comes with a couple of different dipping sauces. Incredible beer pours that pair nicely with any of the meal options. We shared a flight that consisted of four different lagers. They also offer whiskey flights, brandy flights, wine flights, and cocktails. We didn't have dessert but I'm interested in the crème brûlée cheesecake next time 'round. Between staying at the hotel and eating at the restaurant, it was truly an experience that made me feel like we were back in Europe. Gotta hit up the beer spa next time too!

This architectural gem makes the perfect setting for a relaxing sip of coffee. Oh, by the way, the freshest, best tasting, organic coffee you could ever dream of. They grow their own coffee and then roast it right at the coffee shop! You can even get a tour! The best views out the two story plate glass windows top off the whole experience! I can't forget the service! Happy servers are always attentive and excellent at meeting your expectations. Try it once and soon you will find this coffee stop is "right on your way" many times a week! They also have a space at the Heritage Farmer's Market and the Waco Farmer's Market. I had the matcha latte and, being a staunch non-coffee drinker, was somewhat put off by the "latte" portion of the drink title. When the employee assured me there was indeed no coffee but tea in the drink, I ordered it, and she was patient with me when I struggled to decide whether I wanted it hot or iced.
