I was in town for my son's school event and had a couple solo hours to kill so I popped over to Bitty & Beau's for a latte and to support a small business with a mission. The shop was clean and cozy. Me and my boyfriend went here, he got a caramel Frappuccino and I got the glittery blueberry boba drink. I was super disappointed when my drink was brought out because they had run out glitter (which was the sole reason I ordered said drink) and I let it show. We left and I decided to give the drink a try, sad because it looked like plain black tea. When I tell you my eyes lit up, hands down the BEST drink I've had in probably my entire life. I'm upset with myself now because they didn't deserve my reaction, even if it was just a sad look. Tried my boyfriend's frapp and it was also incredible. 10/10 recommend this place. Located across the street from our hotel, we got our morning coffee from this coffee shop for our last day in Waco. This was not the first Bitty & Beau's we had visited, so we knew their mission of having disable employees. We wanted an opportunity to support that goal. We went with our usual drip and Americano. The coffee was fresh and tasted good, not the strongest that we ever had. We loved that three sizes were available unlike some of the coffee cafes that we had visited. Don't get me wrong... I love the mission here and want to continue to support it when I go back. However I think the coffee is a very mediocre and kind of expensive. I got the gingerbread latte and it didn't taste like anything..... it also had an almost sour taste like the milk was about to go bad but I don't know why. As a study place, there's not a lot of outlets so keep that in mind. It's a cool place to visit but maybe not the best if you don't have headphones and need to grind. read more

I stopped by Bitty Beans today to get coffee to go. The coffee is great and staff making my drink were very friendly. I was disappointed by the service by one employee. There was a woman working and as I was waiting for my coffee I noticed the barista was trying to figure out how to make my drink. He turned and asked questions two times to his fellow employee sitting at the bar and she never would look up her phone or even respond to him. It seemed disrespectful and was disappointing to see. He figured it out and my coffee was great, but to see her glued to her phone and unwilling to help which was frustrating. read more

On my way to the Silos I thought I'd use a good pick me up and certainly got it from here! I didn't realize what I was getting into but when I first arrived I was so gracefully greeted by the most infectious laugh by the sweetest person. Then I'm getting my coffee taken by someone else who visibly different than me but seems like he has a heart of gold. I quickly realized this coffee shop was something more special than your average coffee shop. Although the coffee wasn't my favorite, everything else about this place made me want to go back. I was glad to see a Bitty & Beau's in Waco as I've been to the one in Savannah and wanted to support this human movement as it is run by people with disabilities. I opted for something sweet and got the pumpkin spice frappe. The coffee shop is beautiful with a large shared table in the center with plenty of room for people to work remotely at as well as other tables to the side and front. They also have a community room for rent as well. They also have an extensive retail area with lots of different branded gear. Service is friendly and at the time I was there there weren't too many people so I got my drink delivered to my table. I'm happy to say the shop started full up as I was leaving. I see there's an option to franchise in Austin and it would be great if someone that meets the franchise criteria opens one up nearby. read more

As one of the few true chai enjoyers and connoisseurs, I rate this chai one of the best in Waco that I have tried so far. It's a little milky and the flavor is a bit distant, but it beats any Starbucks around. So Fun. My son - 31 years old with Down syndrome - visit different ball parks every year and this year we went to Texas. In between the Rangers and the Astros we stopped at Bitty and Beau's . Blake was an excellent cashier and chatter bug and Kevin was the best host. I absolutely loved my experience at Bitty&Beau's. When I first walked in, the employees were having a little concert and serenading customers with country music, which I thought was so sweet! I absolutely love what Bitty & Beaus stands for and what they are doing with the local community. As a student from Houston visiting Waco, I got a little bit jealous with the awesome coffeeshops and study spots they have in Waco. This specific coffee shop had ample seating with lots of natural light and really great drinks. I tried one of the key lime cookies, and a cookies and cream Frappuccino, which was actually super delicious.
