May 13 2024.. 7:00 pm enjoyed a couple cocktails, the stuffed avocado and the hummus. Both were AMAZING! They're a GF and vegan as well. Our waitress was wonderful! Very attentive and friendly! I asked for the recipe for the stuffed avocado and she asked the chef... Thank You! Cheers to this place. It's inside the Hotel Indigo. We stayed at the Pivavar and I wish we had stayed here. Nice music playing makes the ambiance even better. Enjoy!

No one is here, what is the problem.

I'm so unhappy that I'm sitting here leaving a review. Literally to be acknowledged in the space I had to go to the bar every time. The bus boy did nothing, I couldn't get another drink even if I asked. I've never been so upset in my life. Now the two one star is for the avocado toast which is bomb. I was sapposed to take my left overs home but, subpar bartender dropped the check and took my food. Then told me to have at it doing a yelp review. YO! She or the other don't need to work, like go along with the Great Resignation cause, NAW Son. But the service here is disgusting. They were not about serving me, I can't imagine why? I thought all American ....money was green.... The pics enclosed are beautiful of The food which was great.... Wish I could come again....... The GM just shined me on... lean they are going to do nothing and they m top of that my first review was removed for stating the obvious. So because we can NOT deal with real issues. I'll simple say the place was terrible as was the service. The follow up was ok but, it was all for show. The last star was removed if this could get -3 stars that would be helpful. I'll stick with the Magnolia Vibe, where you are welcome to Waco because MONEY is GREEN.

We came for the great ratings and it was okay. The burger tasted a little like it had been reheated. The tater tots were abundant but we prefer them cooked longer. The salad was tasty and generous. It can have chicken or salmon added but I opted for no protein. It's in a hotel and so knowing that I almost didn't come in. It's very comfy but not as good as the reviews. The server was very polite and attentive and prompt even though busy. It's also a little loud but maybe the large group near us.

Turkey Ruben. Just OK. Needs more croute.

Best thing about this place are the restrooms. The lighting is awesome and it has a full length mirror! Do you know how hard that is to come by? The toilet stalls are complete floor to ceiling walls for the best privacy. Toilet paper doesn't feel cheap. To end a great restroom experience they have a salt rub for your hands as well. The food wasn't bad either I guess BUT definitely make sure to hold it until you get here if this does end up being your brunch choice.

Nice ambiance here, it was a Tuesday so it wasn't very busy. I ordered the guacamole, the presentation is 5 stars and for taste and I give it 4 stars. There were way too many onions, that needs to be dialed back. For my main course I ordered the halibut. It came with asparagus and risotto. The asparagus was excellent, cooked perfectly. The risotto was still a little hard, but the citrus beurre blanc that came with it was absolutely amazing. Now the hard part, literally. The halibut was overcooked, which was a shame. Such a beautiful fish that should be flaky was hard. Overall I would still come back here, just don't order the fish.

My husband and I stayed at the Hotel Indigo in Waco for a couple days. We ate at the hotel restaurant twice and enjoyed our experience both times. The wait staff is attentive and friendly. We were waited on as soon as we sat down. The first visit, I ordered the blackberry mojito and my husband had two of the local beers. We ordered the barbacoa nachos. All of it was very tasty! The second visit, I ordered a glass of Riesling and my husband had Dos Equis beer. I ate the chicken paillard and my husband had the stuffed avocado appetizer. Both were delicious. The plate I ordered was basically an apply Caesar salad with a thin breaded piece of chicken breast. The dressing was on the bottom, then chicken then salad mix. You t was really good!

Food was great. Ordered a Cabernet Mondavi for $8 and was Charged $16 for a Robert Mondavi, which was listed for $15. Waiter should have explained it and not assumed that I pay double. Will not recommend this restaurant. Very deceiving. Paid $60 for dinner. Could have went to Morton's of Chicago or Ruth Chris. Won't be dinning here any more. After leaving the restaurant I went and saw the manager Mario. I asked him if I could provide him with feedback and he accepted. He was not pleased with the service I received and refunded me some of the dinner. He was very understanding. Mario deserves a praise for listening to the voice of the customer. He is an asset to this hotel. Thank you for listening and resolving the problem.

Brazos Bar and Bistro Could be the finest restaurant in Waco. Shared the Chilean Sea Bass with Mashed Potatoes along with Brussel Spouts and the Weaver Rumble Ribeye with Asparagus and Twiced Baked Potato. Everything was prepared well, price was a little on the high side for Waco but was a nice dining experience. Our table was situated in a spot where the roof was dripping right on my head, we noted that to the waiter and we moved the table and everything was good after that

    Beautiful restaurant inside a hotel.

I first saw this spot while going to the Klassy Glass Wine Bar next door. I knew that I had to check it out before I left the area. When I walked in, I was really in awe of how spacious it was inside! This would be the perfect space for a dance floor. There's a small stage to your right that's used for the live bands that perform. The bar is lit up in blue and there are two large TV's that hang from the ceiling. There are several other TV's hanging on the back wall too, maybe about 10 TV's total? It's a great place to watch sports for sure. The warehouse feeling is very eminent with the sky high ceilings and industrial looking interior. In the back, you'll find a couple of different games. I can't recall all of them, but I'm pretty sure I saw a pool table back there. The bartenders are really friendly and interactive. Although this has been pegged as a "new bar", it seemed to have many regulars there who knew the bar crew (probably from the previous bar that was here called Muddle). The other people at the bar were really friendly also. I actually ended up meeting a few peeps there that I ended up going to Austin's a few doors down with. Although the crew and other patrons were cool, this place was super dead on a Saturday night! The rodeo and town fair were going on that weekend, but I still couldn't believe how empty this place was. As far as the drinks go, they are dirt cheap! My bill was under $10 that night! I had a cranberry vodka and a Stella Artois. The cranberry Vodka was a little too sweet for me, and I couldn't taste any vodka in my glass at all. This was kind of a disappointment. I was happy to pay a cheap price but not so thrilled that there was barely any alcohol. Overall, it's a solid option for cheap drinks and to watch sports. Maybe things will pick up a few months from now.

The pretzel was a little inconsistent, crunchy in some areas and super soft in others, but it hit the spot either way. Their garlic fries were definitely garlicky, don't order if you don't like a lot of garlic. The food did not come out together, but we were ok with that. The mushroom burger, grilled cheese, and fish and chips were all delicious! The grilled cheese was even loved by our picky son! The neon signs, brick walls, and interesting decor make this a unique place to visit, and honestly a great place to grab an Instagram picture. The bartenders are knowledgeable and have great recommendations. They offer cocktails, beer and wine, and coffee and tea. I haven't had the coffee here so I can only comment on the bar. The drinks are pretty pricy for Waco (~$10), so going here for me is an experience thing. I have tried the Faerie Fire, which the bartender told me tasted like a strawberry moscow mule, and he was right! What's interesting about it is that there is cayenne in it, so some spice hits the back of your throat. I have also had their Tom Collins and enjoyed it. It's a pleasant, refreshing drink. I tried the Jungle Bird and the Pink Flamingo and they weren't really my thing, but my friends have enjoyed them. I think the key to going here is knowing what you like. The best part about One Day is all of the outdoor seating. Especially during covid, when barhopping is pretty much out of the question, this place has been a refuge for drinks with friends. They have six picnic tables out front, where the Yaki food truck is typically stationed (SO GOOD, must try!), and they also have several two-top tables in a little "alley" past the picnic tables between two buildings. Instagram tip: there's a neon sign out there if you wanna grab a pic! It's also nice because the experience hasn't changed because of covid like it has at other bars. I think everyone can find something they like at One Day. Try it out!
