I also love the 1885 drink, which is Dr Pepper + espresso. It sounds crazy, but a Waco girl loves it. I will say, ever since the inside was re-painted as a weird, tentacle-esque, purple and orange mural, the ambiance has tanked. It used to feel like a peaceful, vibey spot, especially at night or during the holidays. Now the walls make my skin crawl a bit. I decided to get a medium Hot Café De Olla Latte, which is described as the perfect blend of espresso, piloncillo, cinnamon and oat milk. It was smooth, creamy and divine! I also ordered a cinnamon twist, and it was absolutely delicious! The interior is rather large, with a coffee bar and tables throughout. Seems like a great place to study or hang out with friends. Another great thing about this place is that they open early, like 6:30am on weekdays. Many of the other local coffee shops open later. The only drawback is the parking sitch. The flow can get a bit backed up depending on how busy the baristas are...and they were busy! We waited a longer time after ordering than we did in line to order, but neither wait was egregiously long. Once we got the coffee, we made our way outside to the courtyard.
