This is one of the many shops on heritage homestead property. Everything is so carefully curated.Let's just say if it is a cult they would have gotten me lol As you enter you get a great smell of chocolate from outside the building. All their flavored syrups are made by them.I probably should have ordered different because my coffee was alright. I should have tried one of their specialty drinks. But I got a cold brew with lavender. I would have loved to see them making chocolate and for that very reason I would come back.

The service was impeccable. Getting to see the chocolate being made through window was fun. They had someone walking around giving samples (my kids' favorite part). We ordered a strawberry cream cheese danish, chocolate croissant and a drip coffee and all were winners. All of the syrups here for the coffee are house made as well!

I can't get over how gorgeous this place is.. Coffee is delicious, as well as the teas! Their syrup and coffee collection is lovely, they also have a cute little gift section if you're looking for a loved one.. Such a sweet staff, per usual with the establishments here!

Heritage Coffee has been on my bucket list to visit in Waco, and I'm thrilled that I finally came! My friend and I ordered a white fredo and a strawberry cold brew. The white fredo was sweet and delicious. I couldn't taste the strawberry much in the cold brew, but it added a bit of sweetness that I enjoyed. I love how the beans, syrup, and whipped cream are made in-house, which makes it even more special. Additionally, the interior design is phenomenal. It's beautifully decorated with wide windows all around to showcase the nature outside. It felt so serene to drink coffee and enjoy the beautiful view.

Having worked in coffee (in Oregon, the coffee snob capital) you can have confidence in this review. Heritage coffee is definitely in my top 5 coffee shops of all time, and may even be in the top 2... First off, you won't find a more beautiful coffee shop. I could have sat there all day. But the coffee itself was just really intentionally prepared. My pour over was great. My freddo latte was great (yeah I ordered two drinks). My wife's mocha was frothy and the homemade syrup was not overly sweet. Really a perfect coffee experience. Wake up and get over here instead of waiting in line at hgtv land coffee.

Baylor Grad ‍ Weekend in Waco! This place was the calm before the craziness of graduation. Our Bear brought the whole extended family here on a sunny Friday afternoon. After we had a hearty brunch at the Cafe Homestead restaurant, we came to Heritage Coffee for their lovely , fragrant unique drinks! - the younger kiddos had plenty of space to run around and enjoy the butterfly garden. We explored the cheese cave. I couldn't leave without picking up my daughter's favorite drink syrup-Lavender Blossom- I'm going to surprise her with one of her favorite memories of Waco when she finally packs up and comes home for the summer. The young ladies behind the counter were very sweet and attentive to each customer. Waco is lucky to have this grounded and prosperous little community in their midst. Thank you Heritage Coffee for providing a safe and serene space for my daughter to study in during her years at Baylor.

The most perfect place to stop off 35 for a treat or a break from traffic. I needed to find a coffee shop in the Waco area to take a work call and I couldn't have asked for a better location. The coffee is delicious, the location is BEAUTIFUL. And the Wi-Fi is super. 10/10 come visit this gem. read more

This is a cute little coffee shop! My wife and I found this place after staying at a tiny home AirBnb nearby. The setting is great! It's a cute building in a garden environment. The inside feels rustic and homey. The building is connected to Brazos Valley Cheese. My wife ordered a Freddo iced coffee. It was cold brew topped with a whipped sweet cream. It was delicious. We both thoroughly enjoyed that one. I went with the old faithful, the cappuccino. It was well made. Nice balance between foam, milk, and espresso. The employees were nice! This place is definitely worth a visit. There aren't any other local coffee shops near here. read more

Great customer service- friendly employees. Buying a cup of drip coffee was worth the trip to Waco. The only reason we traveled 3 hours away from home was to experience the Cheese Store but it was closed. Miscommunication I should've asked the young man 12/28 when he was going to close on Friday 12/29. We arrived at 12:20! I should have could've scenario. I will make more effort next time and definitely go back to get more coffee read more

There's a reason every review for this place is 5 stars. The coffee is not only so delicious, but for those that are coffee connoisseurs, the espresso is so rich and smooth. It's different than other famous coffee places. The building is also so beautiful and has such a relaxing vibe to it. You can even bring your laptop and work if you live nearby. The people working are so sweet too. If you want to visit a top tier coffee shop that's not in the middle of a busy city, come to this one with friends. It's also in the middle of a famous cheese shop with cool buildings to look at, one of which is a cheese cave. read more

First of all this entire place is inspiring and beautifu! Well worth slowing down and spending a day walking around and appreciating the property and each little trade shop. I ordered the maple brown sugar latte (I'm usually a pretty simple mocha latte girl), but this did not disappoint! they make all their syrups here, and even sell them so you can take one (or all) home. I definitely picked up the maple brown sugar, and considering going back to get a couple more to try before I leave. I don't see it in the menu, but the girl at the counter told me they also had breakfast tacos, so I ordered one of those without even asking what was in it (feeling adventurous today!). It was delicious! The coffee shop itself is beautiful, warm, and inviting. if you haven't been in before, you need to! read more

Beautiful coffee shop at Homestead Heritage with the kindest servers and baristas. They sell their house made syrups and had a nice little selection of T-shirt's and sweatshirts (I got one of each). Visiting from CA but would absolutely go back next time I'm in Waco. read more

Very beautiful building inside & out. Lite and brite w/lots of windows. Worth it just to go in and look around. Make note of the cool cups they use. Made from coffee pods! Also available to purchase. Great coffee. Bit pricey. Caution: they charge $2.25 for a Heritage Coffee sticker that aught to be free. They do have Monk Fruit sweetener so added points! read more

Average coffee. Don't waste your time. McDonald's has better brew!! We're staying in Waco for business and read all the five star reviews so decided to drive out to this spot with a country atmosphere. We didn't realize it's run by a religious organization and all these five star reviews must be written by the members. Such hype for a glass house with a few trees and mediocre coffee! read more

I rarely drink coffee but I never mind grabbing a coffee from Heritage Coffee. My favorite is a drink called the White Freddo. It is so smooth, creamy, not too sweet, and just plain tastes like QUALITY. When I receive my drink, it is always the perfect temperature for me to enjoy right away. Best coffee and they actually own their own coffee farm in Ecuador. They have used an old barn in the construction of this modern style coffee shop with offices. The service is also very good with sweet and helpful baristas. If the weather is good they is seating available under an enormous oak tree. Lots of things to do and see around within walking distance read more

Love this place! Driving in to the coffee shop is blissful and relaxing. It's a beautiful place. You walk into the building to see a super modern aesthetic with beautiful natural light. I was welcomed with a smile and learned that they had just opened this week. The coffee was amazing, and I will drive out of my way to get a good cup. They use huskee cups which are great because of their design and ability to keep your coffee hotter longer. They had these chocolate macaroons that are addicting and a berry scone that tasted fresh! Love this place! Definitely going to be back soon. read more

There are very few coffee shops that I am exposed to that routinely do latte art. Heritage Coffee does it with every latte I buy. Anyone can dump steamed milk into a shot of coffee, but it shows extra care and I appreciate that. read more

If you wake up and want a relaxing morning away from the hustle and bustle, this is the place for you and your loved ones. Starbucks has nothing on this place because it is a HIDDEN JEWEL!!! Absolutely love the peaceful feeling you get when you walk in because if you feel stressed when you walk in, just expect that feeling to go away. Just had coffee with my family with no phones and a wonderful conversation which is becoming obsolete. HIGHLY recommend this place. read more

Set in the second area off of the highway on the Homestead, this coffee shop provides a quiet atmosphere from the hustle bustle of the Cafe area. A stop here also provides a visit to the cheese shop. The beautiful building with a wall of glass is a great place to stop and have a good cup of coffee. Hubby enjoyed his coffee latte and I loved my matcha latte. The staff was nice and served with a smile. read more

The banana is also very natural tasting! The barista was kind and the place itself is really cool! My only complaint is it was $10 for my coffee (most of the season options were around that price). It was so good but I don't know if I can bring myself to spend $10 on a coffee again :/

This architectural gem makes the perfect setting for a relaxing sip of coffee. Oh, by the way, the freshest, best tasting, organic coffee you could ever dream of. They grow their own coffee and then roast it right at the coffee shop! You can even get a tour! The best views out the two story plate glass windows top off the whole experience! I can't forget the service! Happy servers are always attentive and excellent at meeting your expectations. Try it once and soon you will find this coffee stop is "right on your way" many times a week! They also have a space at the Heritage Farmer's Market and the Waco Farmer's Market. I had the matcha latte and, being a staunch non-coffee drinker, was somewhat put off by the "latte" portion of the drink title. When the employee assured me there was indeed no coffee but tea in the drink, I ordered it, and she was patient with me when I struggled to decide whether I wanted it hot or iced. The tea was delicious, not overly sweet like in most coffee shops, the atmosphere is lovely with instrumental Christian music in the background, and my family and I had a great time overall. read more

Cleanest coffee around. They carry a bean that they grow themselves in Ecuador. To top it off, they serve a real macchiato- 2.5 ounces of bliss. Worth the trip. read more
