I loved coming to Avoca coffee! It's not too far from where I'm always hanging out! It's in such a great spot. I got an ice chai latte with almond milk I think. It was so delicious. A little pricey but coffee and things like are going up anyway. The ambiance was great and I loved that I could bring a book or a laptop and do some homework. I'll definitely be here later this next year to do some homework and try some other coffee! My barista was very nice and conversational. I don't like it when conversations are pushy or forceful and he didn't do that so I appreciated it.

Came in for some beans and to check it out! Also grabbed a pastry. It was pretty good! Customer service was great as well. This looks like a good place to drop by and get some work down. Will def come in again if I'm in the area.

While a nice spot with lots of seating, and cards and games on stand by for those who are there to just hang out, I was a little disappointed in my order. I got the iced london fog, and the flavor was not really there at all. It was just really watery overall. My friend got the mocha, and it was also ok. We weren't a big fan of the aftertaste.

Avoca is by far my favorite coffee shop in Fort Worth. The baristas are so kind and the service is great! I'm 99.9% sure that they make their syrups in house. Their iced chai is my favorite. It has the perfect mix of spice with a ginger-ish taste. Their London Fog is equally great as well. They have a good selection of pastries and their breakfast burritos are yummy. As a med student, I can literally stay here for hours every day studying. It's my go to study spot. It can get loud on Saturdays during the morning/afternoon rush, but for the most part it's calm and quiet. There's plenty of places to sit, and there are plenty of outlets to charge devices. As for parking, there's lot parking in the front and in the back. They validate parking. Parking can get packed during lunch rush since they share parking with other businesses.

Quick service. Friendly baristas. Very small ordering space but they have seating upstairs. I ordered a hot latte on a cold night and was pleasantly surprised.

Was a nice walk down from an event i was at and this coffee shop boasted some big energy. Having a lot of higher end coffees I'd say with some interesting concoctions. I had. I had a Bourbon coffee which was very good. They have free wifi and plenty of seating to handle meetings or work or just kickback and relax with friends.

My boyfriend ordered a vanilla iced latte because he saw a video where someone drove over 40 minutes to Avoca Coffee to get her favorite latte. Avoca Coffee makes their vanilla syrup in house. He had tried it beforehand a previous time with a friend, but wanted me to try it and get my opinion on it. First of all, it took a lot longer than I expected for him to order and receive this drink (maybe 10-20 minutes). It is nothing special and quite underwhelming. It is a basic vanilla iced latte. It is not that sweet, can barely tell there is vanilla syrup in the latte.

I was supper excited to try this place as it was highly recommended by a friend. The coffee tasted amazing. The location has ample seating and work station tables. Plenty of games to pass time while enjoying your drinks and pasties. I was disappointed because the barista was super rude. I asked for an almond croissant. She did not asked if I wanted it warmed up. She took it upon herself to warm it up. And I didn't think about it at all until my order was called. The croissant became extremely hard as it was in the oven a bit too long. I asked the barista if she can kindly give one that was not so warm, she replied, can't you see? There's only one button in the oven, I can't control the temperature. I asked if it was not too much trouble to give one that was not warmed up. She reply, then it's going to be cold and nasty. I told her that was fine. She took the warmed one from the counter and angry tossed it in the trash. Customer behind me told her she was being rude and there was no need to be so rude, specially in a time when it's a benefit to have clients come into any business. Barista did not care what so ever. That killed our entire experience and the coffee did not overweight the bad experience.

I got their blueberry coconut matcha and it was so good!! Such a yummy blend of flavors that paired well together. Service was great and plenty of seating in the front and back as well. Only thing is the music they were playing was pretty loud so can be hard to study at.

Starting going to the Magnolia location back in 2011 and have followed them to every new location. Always good service, the staff is always eager to help me order and patient since I undoubtedly walk in with one drink in mind and change it as soon as I get to the register. Space is good for working with lots of plugs and seating, always clean, with little to no noise. I don't usually eat here, but once upon a time there were tacos, can't confirm that's still a thing since I don't look. Consistent so no stopping me now!

We had delicious lattes and a slice of a walnut Bundt cake - yum! The baristas were friendly and efficient. We visited on a Saturday midday between museum visits. It was a great time for a little caffeine pick me up. There were others there, but it was a quiet spot with some cushioned chairs and picnic-style seating. The only caveat is parking in the area seems a bit weird; some spots were paid parking and some were not for some reason. We got lucky and had half hour free parking.

    Nkanda Coffee

As a Christmas gift, my brother brought me a bag of Nkanda coffee beans from Avoca Coffee Roasters in Ft. Worth, TX. It was well traveled from Texas to Baltimore and just as fresh upon opening as the day it was bagged. This Red Bourbon variety boasted notes of Lime, Tamarind (my favorite) and Apricot. I'll admit, it was a lighter brew than what I'm used to, but it was delicious. Apparently my foodie brother hits this place up often for coffee and found a coffee worthy of sharing across state lines. Merry Christmas indeed. A darn good holiday cup o joe.

    West 7th on Foch

We liked this place. I mean, we REALLY liked this coffee shop! I understand that they'll sell you the bean itself; but what they offer on the spot to consume and the spartan space they offer it in, worked for us. We didn't know the area, so the narrow busy often one way streets around West 7th made getting there and actually parking, well, "interesting." Google maps tried to help; but the store itself is on a one way street (Foch), while the actual storefront is on a one way access with parking going the OPPOSITE direction. You can also park behind Avoca in what would be an alley; but much nicer, and it's one way. We ended up parking there. Finally. The staff were enthusiastic participants in the process of ordering, which was appreciated. It was end of day, so there wasn't much left in the way of nibbles; but that was okay. We came for a pick me up. My spouse had a cup of the House Coffee. I was after something refreshing, so I ordered an iced Chai Latte. They make the Lattes here with whole milk or half and half. I had hoped for skim; but the whole milk was delicious, as it turned out. Avoca uses a tall heavy clear glass that I think must have been chilled. I used a straw and had to pace myself to keep from sucking it right down. The Chai was SO good! My husband said his Coffee was okay. I just laughed. That was all he had to say. He loved the interior though. We occupied one of the cool leather couches along the wall in the front wall. The floors are smooth painted concrete. Some of the seating in front is picnic table; but most is comfortable. The restrooms are mid-shop and the rest of the seating is in back. There's a long cushioned banquette along one wall and wooden chairs and long tables. Ordering is done here and the rear entrance with patio and picnic tables are back here. The beverages here are reasonably priced and it's a very friendly atmosphere with good music. Cool and not overly lit, it was a nice place to chill out for awhile and recharge. We came here after visiting the Kimbell which is less than a half mile away. We would definitely come back. This little area is a hotbed of terrific restaurants, bars and entertainment off of the main drag. I'm glad we found it.

My husband and I end up here most Friday mornings, he always gets a brisket taco and a mocha moon (with 3/4 moon milk). Now he won't touch other roaster's coffee or lattes, it has to be summer moon. I on the other hand, am an equal opportunity coffee enthusiast. I have tried many coffee shops in the area and honestly this shop is the best. No one so far has beaten their espresso (I've had many of their different lattes with oat milk, 1/4-1/2 sweetened: pecan pie, honey, mocha moon, and various holiday additions). Their Americanos are also the best in town. Their simple breakfast food is top notch for a coffee shop as well. My husband says their brisket and egg taco is the best he's had so far. I cannot do gluten, so I've had their GF kolache, blueberry bread, both amazing. I've also tried their paleo bar and a vegan chocolate gf donut and those are very good as well. The baristas here are all very nice and customer service oriented, they'll remember your name if you become a regular and always welcome you when you walk in to order. The ambiance inside very chill and relaxing, their patio area with wood picnic tables and lights is such a charming addition. It's always clean too.

They were both 5/5 so good and refreshing. The Peach brown sugar matcha had a subtle sweet taste and the Dande-Lemon matcha was very refreshing that I could taste some of the dandelion and hint of lemon. Noble makes the syrups which is amazing since a lot of coffee shops use generic popular syrups and sauces. The last time I stopped by I had a lavender latte which was good and not overwhelmingly strong or soapy tasting like other places. If you haven't stopped, I highly recommend you do.
