White cake with fresh raspberry and butter cream frosting.

Absolutely astonishing is the words I would use to describe the cake and service I received. Adeline created the best cake I've ever tasted and on a time crunch for my grandmothers 85th birthday. The love and compassion she had for my situation are to be studied by bakeries around the world (no pun intended) thank you so much for this masterpiece!

I had the banana pudding cheesecake which was delicious. I felt like it was a little pricey for the size of the slice but it did taste very good!

    Cute but disgusting coffee flight

Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this place. We were excited to fit it into our trip to Waco, but the experience was disappointing from the moment we swiped our card to the moment we walked out. We picked out pastries and ordered the cutest Halloween-themed coffee flight. After paying, I stood there awkwardly as the cashier and another staff member went back and forth about not knowing how to make the drinks. I decided to sit down and wait, thinking, "The flavors sound great--how bad could it be?" Sadly, the answer was terrible. The $16 coffee flight was undrinkable; we could only manage a couple of sips from two of the drinks. To make matters worse, I saw the barista lick her finger while preparing drinks. We politely asked someone behind the counter to dump our untouched drinks so they wouldn't overflow the cans. She seemed confused but didn't ask why all the cups were still full. On the pastry side, the Tres Leches cake was fantastic--light, moist, and flavorful. Unfortunately, the Dubai chocolate brownie and French silk pie were disappointing. The brownie was dry and crispy, while the pie slice looked stale, with the edges darkened from sitting pre-sliced in its container. Overall, it was a sad experience because we had such high hopes. I'm hoping this was just a one-time fluke.

    Pumpkin Spice Horchata

While the price is on the higher end, we felt that the quality and taste was worth it. We ordered 2 drinks and 2 sweets. My husband thought the Pumpkin Spice Horchata could have had a stronger horchata flavor, but I enjoyed it. My Strawberry Matcha had strawberry puree and chunks which I really enjoyed. We ordered a slice of the coffee cake and some kind of apricot chocolate pastry. The coffee cake was perfect for me as I do not like them to be overwhelmingly sweet. Surprisingly the apricot chocolate pastry was our favorite item. It was a delicious blend of tartness and sweet.

Dubai chocolate cheesecake is a 0/10, banana pudding cheesecake is a cake 1/10. Definitely a waste of money and time, do not go here.

We've wanted to visit the Magnolia Silos in Waco for a while now and so happy for the chance. The drive to Waco was just under 2 hours from Austin. We stopped at this cute & quaint bakery after visiting the Silos & before heading back to Austin. There is a charming area to the side of the building with several tables covered by umbrellas & surrounded by potted plants. It was too hot to sit outside! The interior is small but nicely decorated. There was a line but it moved rather quickly. The young lady behind the counter was sweet & helpful. We ordered a chocolate cupcake & a lemon lavender cupcake to go. It was packaged in their signature container. The cupcakes were both so good but the Lemon Lavender was a favorite! Both were very moist & flavorful. We wished we had ordered more!

Since Magnolia is such a brand, they could easily get away with fairly middling goods, but it's nice to know that whomever is in charge of desserts is a Type A kind of person who shall not abide crummy treats. My giant cupcake was the kind of good where I kept nibbling from it all day long, and the next day, I was sad that I hadn't bought another. The friend I was with had gotten a cupcake, and even though she isn't usually into cupcakes, she said this convinced her otherwise.

All the articles on Pinterest and reviews were spot on stating this is a must to stop by on your trip to Waco. We were greeted when we walked in and she was SO nice, I believe she's the owner! They had a cute gingerbread house competition going on & you could vote for your favorite house. The Christmas decorations were amazing. But the feel was cozy and modern with a rustic touch. SO CUTE! All the details. The cookies are massive and they're INCREDIBLE! Out in California the closest thing we have to this is Crumbl. There is no comparison. Additionally, I would way more prefer to spend my hard earned money supporting small business! My mom and I each got a cookie. We wanted to bring something home to the family so we bought one of everything. The owner was so sweet and went above and beyond. She individually wrapped each cookie and placed it in a box with crinkle paper to protect them. They made it all the way back to California and we didn't taste test them till about three days later. STILL FRESH AS COULD BE! So impressive. I will be a forever costumer moving forward! Thank you so much for your kindness, amazing cookies, and great service! If you're in Waco, this is a must!!

Magnolia Press is their house coffee shop serving up all the coffee house classic beverages and snacks. Beverages were all the basics with a few specialty drinks, both hot and cold. The food was standard breakfast sandwiches and pastries. Prices for everything were moderate, but expected. I went with an iced mocha and chocolate croissant, while my partner went with a breakfast croissant. The food came out a few minutes before the drink, so we munched on the goods while we waited for the coffee. The food was good and the drink was tasty. It hit the spot for sure! The flow can get a bit backed up depending on how busy the baristas are...and they were busy! We waited a longer time after ordering than we did in line to order, but neither wait was egregiously long. Once we got the coffee, we made our way outside to the courtyard. We passed the small, but cute dining room. The space is gorgeous, perfect coffee house and Magnolia vibes. Overall, great entry point to the market. Lovely vibes and decent coffee!
