Disappointing. We stopped in here to check out the store. Now I know gluten free in a cake shop might be limited but when I asked f there were any cakes like this I got this look like why are you here...we have a choclate chip cookie. If you can avoid their delivery services.... Please DO. I ordered a cake for a special 20th birthday. I paid more for delivery than I did for the cake itself! Had someone waiting the entire day to receive the cake. And nothing. No updates. No delivery. I had to call myself from hundreds of miles away to ask what was going on. They said they didn't have a driver so they decided, unilaterally!, on their own, that the order is canceled. Absolutely insane. I would not recommend this particular NBC franchise to anyone unless you desperately need to pick up a cake yourself: and bear their apparently infamous customer service. I recently went to Nothing Bundt Cakes at Central Marketplace. Trying to decide how to gift someone in businesses like this one can be nerve- racking, to say the least. They sell single serving bundtlets but don't have any forks or spoons to eat with it.

If I could give this store 0 stars;I will certainly do it. The customer service is NOT very good . I think more training in customer service would be very helpful. Went in on a Thursday and ordered two dozen bundtinis and two bundlets for a camping party. The girls behind the counter were moderately friendly. There was only one other customer ahead of me. She did pick up a very nicely packaged three tier bundlet gift. While I was waiting for my order another customer came in and purchased two bundlets. I ordered 2 cakes on Tuesday to be ready for pickup at 1pm on Saturday . Cakes were not ready on time. I waited 45 minutes inside the store waiting for them to be decorated. This was after a 15 minute wait outside in line. The chocolate chip cake was hard to slice so I'm assuming it was frozen so it went in the trash. I am assuming they were short handed but this is where a manager or owner needs to step up. read more

Let me start by saying that the cakes are delicious, however I absolutely won't be ordering from here again. My brother and I ordered two dozen bundtinis for our mom for Mother's Day because neither of us lives close to our parents and we were unable to visit for the weekend. When the bundtinis arrived and were delivered to my mom, it looked like someone had literally taken the box flipped it upside down and shook it around. The bundtinis were all over the place, some had lost all of their icing, the happy mothers day flags were no longer stuck into the bundtinis, and one box had only 2 salvageable cakes. Considering I paid $60 for 2 dozen cakes to be delivered, I'm not happy. Additionally, when I emailed the store to discuss with them I received absolutely no response about the condition of the delivery. If you're going to charge $20 in delivery fees, I'd suggest figuring out how to prevent this from happening. read more

My daughter was supposed to have a Birthday cake delivered today for her birthday as I live in Colorado and she's at school in Waco. Well, apparently the delivery driver didn't show up and the workers couldn't get ahold of the store manager and didn't bother to call us customers to let us know that our orders weren't going to be delivered. Placed an order which was supposed to be ready in 1 and 1/2 hour but when I went to pick up the order that they had me prepay via phone, they didnt have the order complete and wouldn't be able to complete the order as confirmed earlier. When I asked for a refund they wouldn't be able to refund the credit card until 3 - 4 hrs later since it had to be done by the owner!!! Dont know of ANY business that is not able to refund credit cards the same day especially when the promised service wasnt delivered!!! I love their cakes but why they do not have forks in their establishment is a mystery to me and is RIDICULOUS. They aren't cupcakes. They are small cakes. You don't eat them with your hands, yet you don't provide your customers with a fork? OMG! This is the best place to get a bundt cake. They are so moist and delicious. There are multiple flavors. I got the small (like a huge cupcake) lemon, carrot, and a chocolate chocolate chip one. They have a cream cheese type icing going down the sides. It's not a drizzle either, but a good bit of icing deliciousness! I can vouch for the chocolate being #1 because they had samples. Yum yum. It had chocolate chips in it, like a muffin. For the 3 cakes it was $12.75!! read more

Extremely disappointed in the service. I came in to get 24 cakes. All of them were ready to be packed up, but it took them 25 minutes to put them into boxes. They couldn't figure out how to divide the cakes into four flavors. When we asked for a refund, they told us they had to write down our credit card for later. Sounds sketchy to me. They gave me the "owner's number" to complain which turned out to be the store number. Unbelievable. The cakes are good, but not worth the pending stress as a result of dealing with these apathetic employees. Go over to the steel city pops or the cupcake place downtown instead of getting freezer cakes. read more

This review is ONLY based on customer service. The product (bunt cakes) are exquisite. Now referring to the non-existent customer service from an employee with no name badge who refer herself as "Bobby." This Bobby ruined the nice surprise I wanted for my coworkers in celebration to Administration Day at the Hospital I work for. Let's start by "the greeting," upon waiting for a minute or so after entering the store there was no greeting but instead a aggravated shout "Give me a minute!" Like I had interrupted something more important than my time. Well to an extent I understand that she might of been in the mist of something that couldn't been postpone but the focus here is not what she said but HOW DHE SAID IT, with an attitude as if I was bothering her and trust me I'm not the one to get my feelings hurt easily. Now the cherry to the whole ordeal came to the transaction and when I asked to have each bunt cake individually wrapped so I could write a little appreciate note to each one of my awesome coworkers. She snapped at me and immediately commented that "THAT IS EXTRA AND YOH HAVE TO CALL DAYS IN ADVANCE IF YOU ARE NEEDING IT," than she made a gesture as if dismissing me and on to the next customer. I do have to mention that I previously done the exact transaction bought 5 bunt cakes for doctors day and had them wrapped and all with no "days in advance" notice with no problem so I don't know if this Bobby owns the place or what but I'm taking my business somewhere else if this is how I am going to get treated. read more

When our cake and cupcakes were delivered for our wedding, we also received a handwritten note with an additional cake. They learned about the amount of people we expected for the ceremony and worried we wouldn't have enough so they made an additional cake free of charge. The cakes are awesome and the staff is even better! We were in there today to get a White Chocolate Raspberry (our favorite) that we planned to share. My son was a little down because he missed his sister who just started her first job. After we paid, he mentioned how much he enjoyed the chocolate chocolate chip sample and how he wished we had gotten that one instead since all he got was a sample of it. The lady who checked us out put one in the bag for him and didn't charge me for it. I thanked her and showed it to my son when we got in the car. He got the biggest smile on his face when he realized he had a whole Chocolate Chocolate Chip all to himself! I don't know her name but whoever you are, you sure made my 6 year old son's day! I ordered a dozen Bundtinis for my daughter's birthday. Upon arrival, she mentioned that they were turned upside down and were all stuck together. She didn't mind because she loves your cakes. I called the store to let them know since you they use a third party for delivery and they need to know the state of how their product is being delivered. Cakes are amazing, as they are at every location I've visited. Very clean and organized store. However, the customer service, or lack of, given by the young lady at register was unsatisfactory. She did not speak or greet us upon entering, did not ask if we needed help or even what we wanted. Even after I took the initiative to facilitate the conversation to let her know what we wanted, she was still a bit rude. And to top things off, she tossed my debit card on the counter (pet peeve) with the receipt and a pen for me to sign; the same card I politely handed to her to swipe for payment. She really needs to work on her customer service skills. I'm very disappointed. read more
