The açaí was nearly frozen though and I had to stab it with my spoon to try to break it up to eat. Açaí should be smooth and creamy. I just looked at other reviews for the açaí bowl and other people have also commented that the açaí is frozen so this is a regular occurrence here. We made it ~15 minutes before closing on a Thursday night. Props to them for being until 10pm daily (and not closing before closing time). I ordered the Acai berry boost, (acai, pomegranate, banana, blueberries, and strawberries), $6.99. and bf ordered the peanut paradise, (peanut butter, banana, non-fat yogurt, and choice of protein- bf opted for whey protein), $6.99. There was only one size, but at least it was am large size- 24oz maybe? They came out fairly quickly, most likely because it was so close to closing time. The smoothies were fresh and made with fruit. They weren't artificially sweet as such and hit the spot! There are also wraps, sandwiches, and quesadillas that I'm interested in trying next time. This tropical smoothie is always chaotic . Wouldn't be a big deal if your visiting once but I personally love their smoothies so I order once a week and they always seem to be all over the place . Today 3 workers were trying to figure out what they had just handed a customer no one knew who made it. I was waiting for my online order after figuring out that first debate one of the ladies asked for my name, my smoothies was ready but not in the cup, the worker then poured it in the cup and went on to make another smoothie while mine just sat there in the back, no lid, just chillen. After waiting a couple of minutes I asked if I could top it and take it because I needed to get back to work. I would not recommend this location. Spent $27 for a sandwich and 2 smoothies that we ended up throwing away. The smoothies tasted just like powder and the sandwich was not appealing. I am a big fan of tropical smoothie Café as a chain and every other location. This particular location is completely a disgrace to what the company should be. The stuff that they have currently is extremely rude and very unbothered to provide any sort of customer service. They are constantly on their phones, ignoring the customer in line, or have family and friends just hanging out in the restaurant while they're ignoring the people waiting to place an order. While taking my order, I was not greeted. I had to ask if there was anyone there that could take my order after I waited for five minutes to see if anyone would come greet me, then I was asked what do you want and I gave them my order while they were just texting on their phone I wasn't even sure if they got my order. After checking out the menu I knew I had to try the Sunrise Sunset. It was made with strawberries, pineapple, mango and orange juice, and this was the perfect smoothie! My friend asked if I was up to splitting a wrap and I was! We spilt the Thai Chicken wrap. It was grilled chicken, carrots, sesame seeds, wontons, cilantro, scallions, romaine lettuce and Thai peanut sauce. This wrap was tasty! So good! This by far the worst Tropical Smoothie I have ever been to. They often do not have the menu items. It takes FOREVER to get a smoothie. Most recently, I ordered 2 Thai Chicken Wraps on Grubhub (for pick up). I arrived 30 mins. later... smoothies not ready, they were not serving food and neither of the employees know how to refund. The employee took my phone # down and told me that a manager would be calling me to refund my $20. Never happened. I called the store five times with no answer or vm. Service is ridiculously faster here than any other TSC I've been to. Drinks are still like $5.99 so if you want to make your smoothie at home, your buck will probably stretch more. It's a super clean establishment considering some of the other TSCs I've been to looks like they never bus their tables or even pick up any stray napkins lying about. I still haven't tried their food so I have no comments on that. The staff here is actually friendly and informative! All in all, this is a pretty good location. I like the peanut butter banana crunch flatbed for breakfast quick feedings. Caribbean Jerk Chicken Wraps are a great brunch or lunch go to to make the inner animal stop growling at you! The now added pressed sandwiches too but as of yet I have not partaken in the particular feeding event.... My favorite smoothie is the Chia Banana Max!
