Ordered for pickup here on a weekend. I did the combo of a breakfast southwest wrap and a pomegranate smoothie. Food was ready for pickup when I arrived and my smoothie tasted great! The wrap tasted good but just felt extremely small. As tropical smoothie is one of my go-tos, I feel like when I've ordered this in the past it's been larger. The restaurant itself was pretty clean, though the bathroom could have used a little touch up. I had lunch from here on a Saturday. The place was not busy. Side of jalapeno corn was my favorite item. It had nice flavors and a kick to it. So easy to place an order online and have it waiting for take out upon arrival. My smoothy was great and large enough to share.

The only good thing I can say is the food is great. I ordered a smoothie, and there wasn't enough volume. So they blended in more ice. In turn making my smoothie watery (and a huge mess) didn't wipe the cup off, and the lid wasn't even secure. I came a separate time, and had ordered online. Took them over 20 minutes to make a single flatbread. Once it was made, my name was never called, and it wasn't placed in the take out section. I had to wait for someone to come to the register to ask for my food. I really want to like this place, but it's ran by people who just don't seem to care or have a work ethic. read more

Yelp doesn't really show me chain restaurants when I search these days, so it was just good luck that we stopped in here looking for a quick and slightly healthier take out option. I was impressed by the variety of food available. My kids liked their salad and flatbread and my husband's only complaint about his veggie wrap is he wishes there were more pickled red onions bc they are really tasty. There was about 10 employees working, so my smoothie came out really fast! I ordered the kiwi quencher. It was big and delicious! I was surprised to discover they also serve tasty looking food here, so I might come back for lunch someday! Normally Tropical Smoothie is fast and efficient but this location disappointed me. I ordered ahead and was hoping I could get in and get out quickly. I then waited 35 minutes for my singular smoothie. There was one employee working up front while two others sat in the food area doing nothing. We went in on a weekend afternoon when the cafe seemed a little quiet, just a few customers waiting for their order. I got the Açaí Berry Boost and my husband got the Mango Magic. Fast, clean, professional. You can get food & smoothie for under $15 as opposed to other places in Madison where a smoothie costs up to $15. Good budget smoothies with lots of different flavors to choose from. Recommend Santa Fe Quesadilla with salsa to dip and Bahama Mama smoothie. read more

Mango Magic smoothie. Tasted like watery yogurt. BLAND AF. It was yellowish so probably had some fruit or food coloring in but it was straight trash. Save your money and get a McDonald's smoothie - better than this junk. read more

My family has stopped in a couple times. We have ordered Bahama Mama, Sunrise Sunset, Blimey Limey, and Mango. All of them were terrific! We have also tried a quesadilla, a wrap and a flatbread. These were good as well. One of the sandwiches had a mistake. I am going to chalk it up to everyone being new and there is always a learning curve. If you haven't tried the kale apple slaw, it is definitely worth a try! Staff has been friendly and the service has been pretty quick. read more

Wanted to stop by since it's new in Madison and had an eh experience. Went in, ordered very quickly, and it took a few minutes to get started on my smoothie even though I was the only customer. My smoothie made it to the blender (finally) and then it was finished and no one bothered to take it from the blender. The girl who was making my smoothie was on her phone the entire time which is the reason it took so long for the order to get to the blender and be taken from the blender. Each person working was either on their phone or talking leisurely. Even the manager was on his laptop not checking that the employees were doing their jobs. It took him saying something to the woman on her phone for her to tend to my smoothie. Just dont bother. Abysmally slow service. There were four of them working and four orders ahead of me on the screen when I ordered and it took me a 20 minutes to get my watery smoothie. Worst part is I saw my drink get made then just sit ignored by them for ten of those minutes while they worked on online orders.
