Joseph is the goat. Someone else messed up our order and he was so kind about fixing it.

Our waiter was very attentive. We ordered a bottle of wine to share, and I did have a cocktail as well. Their cocktail menu is put together very well. They have an option for everyone. I ordered the chilean sea bass. The parmesan crust on it was perfect. For some reason I was picturing a more crispy hard crust, but it was nice and soft. The fish itself was perfectly cooked. We opt'ed out of dessert, but maybe next time! This was a special experience.

We were eating outside, and we barely saw her while we were waiting. My husband eventually had to go inside to check with someone, and it took another 15 minutes before we finally got an update. The manager did make an effort to make things right. He took $20 off our bill and gave us free dessert, which we really appreciated. That said, I think we'll be back. It's a beautiful place with good food, and we really enjoyed what we had. The service just needs some work. Our waitress was very sweet, but seemed a little timid and didn't check on us much. Even getting drink refills took quite a while. Overall, we had a good experience despite the wait, and hopefully the service improves because we'd definitely like to come back!

The Brookfield and Oak Creek locations always seem to have a wait. I started with the Watermelon Wake-Up, a limited time drink with watermelon, pineapple, lime and mint. Several of us ordered this one. For the table we got the Honey Butter Biscuit Bites.... mini buttermilk biscuits with salted honey butter and warm mixed berry compote. My order was the avocado toast with two basted cage-free eggs, i added on the Million Dollar Bacon. I was charged for a side and not an add on, so be careful to clearly communicate when ordering. Food was fresh and comforting. One of the ladies at the table mentioned she could make this at home, but said the restaurant does it better. Our server Matthew was friendly and split the bill for our group with no issues. No extra service fee was added. Payment was either at the counter or by QR code on the receipt.

We ordered the bacado omelet and barbacoa chilaquiles. The omelet was nice and fluffy, but the portion was much smaller than omelets I've had at other brunch places in the area for the same price. It did come with a side salad, although I wished I had the option to choose my own side. The chilaquiles were also flavorful, but it was a little too mushy and there was not a lot of meat. The beans were also very cold, and I prefer my beans warm. Our server was pretty good. She took our order quickly and did check on us once. However, we did have to try and flag her down for a drink refill. We did get lucky with our sever. There was a table near us that had a different server. They had to ask our server about some requests because according to them, their server "ditched them." I would come back here again. Perhaps I would get takeout next time. Overall not a bad place to grab brunch before going shopping at Southridge Mall.

I decided to try something different and got the special Spanikopiomlette. Very disappointed! I have never had their omelettes before but it was really overcooked. Not fluffy at all! It was supposed to have feta in it and I could not taste the feta at all and the sauce on top was almost flavorless. It definitely looked better than it tasted. My son's eggs were also overcooked. The pancakes were delicious and my friend enjoyed her meal as well. It was really the eggs. I would usually say something bit I was with a friend and we were having a good time. The dining area was really cold today - I didn't think to bring a jacket ‍. And per usual, it was noisy like a busy restaurant. Our waitress was the bomb. She was super attentive and checked in on us. So much to choose from and I was torn. I did decided to order off the summer menu. I had the Rosti benedict. It arrived looking gorgeous. However, I cut it right down the middle to get that runny egg yolk and where want one ...? There wasn't an egg. It seemed like it rest a scoop of maybe farmers cheese or something like that. I didn't say anything because I thought I misread the description. I looked later and realized it should have had a poached egg. Ugh. I did miss that a lot. Main reason for taking off a star - dish not made correctly. The rest of it was very good. The potatoes delish are usual. My cousin had the herb omelette with ham, the potatoes and side of pancakes. She enjoyed it and took half home for breakfast tomorrow, unless her husband finds it first. Of course we will be back to try other things in the menu. It's a really great place for brunch/lunch.

We went for dinner at Dia After Dark around 7:30, and easily found a spot. The space is bright and vibrant with plenty of creative seating, including a nook outfitted with a large screen television. Our server, Nicole, was sweet, helpful and attentive. For start we had the calamari and guacamole and chips. The spicy garlic aioli served with the calamari was incredibly flavorful. Definitely spicey, but not overwhelming so. The guacamole was fresh, made with nice sized pieces of tomato and onion, and avocados that were not overly smashed. For dinner, I had the Ceviche Flight, which showcased Salvadoran, Peruvian & Mexican style ceviches. The citrus and herb bases for all three were delightfully zesty, joined with tender seafood, crisp vegetables and firm avocados. I'd recommend eating tortilla chips in between dishes to help balance out the acidity. Dia has great food, great service and a lot of soul.

Coffee is now ubiquitous with daily life in America, which brings me to Qamaria Coffee. Hatem and Munif are two Yemeni entrepreneurs with a passion for Yemeni Coffee and the joint goal of wanting to share it with the world. They founded Qamaria Coffee in 2019 to accomplish this task and in January 2024, they opened a location near Milwaukee in Greenfield, WI. Qamaria offers a variety of dessert options, including a Chocolate Tres Leches, Pistachio Tres Leches, and Caramel Tres Leches cakes. I went with the caramel version, which is described by the cafe as "A decadent caramel treat inspired by tres leches cake, creamy, sweet, and irresistibly smooth". If you've never had Tres Leches Cake, it's a light sponge cake soaked in three types of milk (evaporated, condensed, and whole) that's popular in Latin America. The cake originated in Nicaragua during the 19th century, so on first glance it's not exactly a Yemeni dessert. Doing some research, Middle Eastern variations exist that feature cardamom or rose water and some Qamaria locations do have a Rose Tres Leches. It's fine that the Greenfield location did not have that variety as I honestly would have got the caramel version anyway. My slice was perfectly moist as there was plenty of milk soaked in, but not so much that it made a mess or compromised the structure of the cake. The bottom layer was soft and Tiramisu-like in texture, while the cream on top was rich and thick. Personally, I found the caramel flavor to be mild, but delicious. As it is served chilled, it paired nicely with a hot cup of coffee (which they have a plethora of options to choose from). Doughboy approved Doughboy_Food_Reviews
