Efficient drive through service. The route for the drive through is a bit weird with entrance on the opposite side of the strip of stores and winds all the way around the back. I've been here several times when working outside the Milwaukee city proper area in Mequon. The team members are all very enthusiastic and engaged. Good service. Just visited again, this is the MOST efficient I've seen in the entire world. They were asking people in line if they were intending to order food and started preparing the food. This was awesome. I was 6 deep and out in a total of 6 minutes with food and drink. read more

The one older lady that works at this Starbucks has been rude to me and others I know on multiple occasions. She is short, snippy, and very rude if you need time or any questions answered. I love going to get a coffee, but whenever she is working the drive through she ruins the experience. I will not be returning to this Starbucks for a long while because of the lack of costumer service this woman has. read more

As someone who does frequent reviews of different restaurants. i want to share more of an insight on what I see. I have not only worked but have been in the food industry for over 15 years. many of times the establishment itself doesn't change, it's the people coming in and out. Depending on the customers mood they can also shift the energy in an establishment. If there is a place that may not have many workers but take in more than what they can handle it can shake up some things. This location seems to be smaller yet takes in a high volume of people. That can't not only be overwhelming for the customer but more frustrating for the staff. Drive, mobile, walk ins, and those who come everyday at the same time expect service to be the same every time, trust I know. It seems this location deals with a lot of entitled people who have an issue with waiting for anything. I would say more staff will equal less complaints about this store. read more

Staff was very friendly. Walking in as a teenager alone and felt safe and welcomed. I loved my drink, it tasted good, with lots of flavor. I liked the seating area so I could wait for my drink :) read more

Starbucks - strawberry açaí refresher - Coffee & Tea Near Me - Mequon, Wisconsin

Staff is very friendly! Made perfect to order. I was there recently and witnessed 2 customers being rude about remaking the item again, especially being silently racist about it. The food industry is hard and if someone wants their order made perfectly, learn to go in person and order or just be flexible. With the new government administration and everything going on it's understandable. You never know what someone is going through, so don't judge before getting to know them. If I was the worker I would've made the customers pay again, it's rude and unfair to the barista:) Especially the worker who kept her composure, it's not easy being in customer service. Many kudos for the continuity of Starbucks being kind, respectful. and understanding of everyone. I would give them a 10 out of 10 if I could, especially for maintaining DEI Standards. Thank you Starbucks for always being inclusive, especially those who have disabilities. I tend to be a tad harsh in my grading, but I really can't think of anything wrong with this location. The staff is always friendly and the quality of the drinks is very consistent, which I appreciate. There is ample inside seating if that's your deal and they also have a drive-thru if you're more the hit-it-and-quit-it type. Online orders through the app are ready far faster than the quoted time in the app, too! read more

I was here in September 2021, the Friday before Labor Day. It was atrociously busy and there was a 20 minutes wait. The staff here has to service both a drive-thru and walk-ins - not to mention people using the app to place their orders. But I'm not complaining about the wait. I had sufficient time to watch the staff and see how they were making drinks, etc. I stood against the wall near the counter where they're making the coffee and cold drinks. What struck me was how filthy the work spaces were. Everything was wet. Each time they set down a cup, the bottom of the cup sat in wetness. The counters were swimming with milk and coffee and water and whatever else. You can't tell me - having spent working a little time in a busy coffee shop - that a 2-second swipe with a rag after each drink will set you back so far that you can't keep up. It seemed to me that the staff were so focused on getting out orders that they lost a lot of what makes Starbucks a successful brand. A few of them spoke to customers, but most were too busy to breathe. I think that the Starbucks app has done a great disservice to places like this one, which caters to customers who are getting on and off the freeway just up the street. I tried to check out how the staff keep their hands clean. The only handwashing sink that I saw was really inconvenient for anyone working the drive-thru or making drinks. You'd think Starbucks would keep hand san on hand for the people who just can't take the time for a hand washing while trying to handle the 40 or so people who were crowded into the place (not to mention all the cars in the line). Also, it appeared to me that a number of the staff weren't in keeping with the Starbucks uniform guidelines (I think half the world knows about those), and I witnessed one young woman who had dirt (ewwww) under her nails. So...nice staff, but they're so overly focused on production that I don't think they are keeping in line with the corporate ideals...and yuck, so messy. I'll head over to a different coffee shop from now on. read more

Nice welcoming Starbucks store right off the main strip in Mequon. I would stop by here each morning on my way to work to warm up, grab a coffee, and a quick bite. While the coffee and food was typical for a Starbucks, the staff was always friendly and efficient at this Starbucks location. They kept the store super clean as well. This location also had a drive thru if you didn't want to get out in the harsh cold weather. But I'm the type that likes to go in the store and order and hang out and warm up. read more

My boyfriend and I stop at this Starbucks several mornings each week before work and we are always pleasantly greeted by the staff and treated with our coffees quickly. Every employee has an awesome attitude and we have always received our correct drinks. Also, shout out to Dakota! This place is FILTHY. The tables, chairs, and floor are always covered in crumbs. The trash can is always overflowing so people have to shove their trash in. This place needs to fulfill decent customer service and invest in some BROOMS, TRASH BAGS, and WIPES!!!!!! read more

Best starbucks drive through in the entire Milwaukee area. These people either really enjoy their job or drink a lot of coffee... I get there as early as can be before work and they are always in a good mood. Consistent to the letter with their drinks. And for how backed up the drive-through is, you don't ever wait very long. You feel like you are at a NASCAR pit stop when compared to other starbucks drive-throughs. read more

Sat, sipping my delicious Mango Dragon and working on my iPad for the past 40 minutes at 5pm in afternoon. There has not been a single minute these young people behind the counter have not been hustling. (And the iced refresher wasn't bad either). Keep up the excellent work! read more

Atrocious wait times in the drive thru, typical to have 20min-40min waits. You're selling crack to yuppies how hard is this? Brand management is spectacular, high margins, solid product in that sense. However, poor product quality, even poorer service is typically not a formula for success. Just baby steps first, try training your staff, work wonders. read more

Today I waited 15 minutes for a call in simple cup of coffee. Then when I got my coffee it was cold. Why do they offer on line ordering if they can't handle the volume? If u walk in and order a simple cup of coffee you get at the tail end of the drive up and call in orders. Doesn't make sense. I really think this Starbucks could use some improvements. First, the parking lot is super tiny. The last two times I tried to go there, no parking. I had to maneuver my car and leave! Next, there are a few female employees there that talk really fast and loud and just seem awfully rude. Finally, the inside is cramped and hard to relax in. It's a brand new Starbucks that had to be built due to the other one being strucked by lightning. It should have been better planned, especially the interior and parking. read more

The worse Starbucks location experience ever. 5+ minutes per car...took over 35 minutes to get through. This place needs help corporate! Service was abrupt and rude. Worse part of situation is that drive through set up such that you can't pull out and leave once you start - "hostage". Corporate - if you can't deliver the Starbucks Experience at this location - shut it down! read more

I must admit something to you all before I continue, it is a bit a shaming but I am not an avid coffee drinker. Now that I got the elephant out of the room I will continue on. The location is great in the new space in Mequon - right by my work. The drive-thru is packed in the morning with the moms and dads getting their caffeine fix while taking the kiddos to school. The inside is a bit smaller compared to their old location but the addition of the drive-thru makes up for it. Overall, this is a good place but nothing too special. If you need your caffeine in a non-creative or fun environment stop on in. read more

Never in my life have I ever had such amazing customer service in a drive thru. I am always amazed and you think I would be used to it by now since I frequent this location a couple times a week. I now go out of my way to stop there just for the friendly experience and welcoming vibe that they give off. read more

I really dislike Starbucks coffee because it basically tastes like they take a flamethrower to the beans for 10 hours before grinding them up and making them coffee for you, but when I'm in Mequon and don't have a choice, it does the trick. As far as Starbucks goes though I like this one. All of the employees seem to be enthusiastic about their job and treat all the regulars like friends, which I can appreciate. I tend to be treated very well here despite the fact that I dress like a derelict homeless person compared to some of the more refined ladies and gentlemen who come here for $12.00 drinks. Really my only complaint is that the clientele is often snotty (not the businesses fault) and the internet is pretty pretty unreliable when the place gets packed. read more

Slowest drive through ever. As I finally get to the window I can see that the workers are in no rush. The service was fine, however, the drive thru took 30 minutes. This was at 2:45pm. Due to the set up of the drive thru, by the time I was able to exit the line, I had been waiting for 20 minutes. True, this Starbucks can get busy but I have never had anything but great service! The baristas are always cheerful and helpful, but KRISTA IS EXCEPTIONALLY AWESOME!!! I'm not a coffee drinker, but as it turns out you don't have to be. Been to this location 3 times, its always been pleasant. Last time I went I had a caramel frappucino because you know (who gives a shit) and of course it was delicious because (why the flyin crayon giraffe not). Also had their sausage egg and cheese breakfast sandwich and it actually looked and tasted of higher than expected quality. So it was also very delicious. Satisfied. read more

I love this Starbucks and I don't live in Mequon! I prefer to go here bc one it is a drive thru and two the people here are great especially the guys...one guy specifically named Andrew! They must love their job bc they always joke around and we usually have good conversations...oh and they remember you! I have a Starbucks by my house and I have been there often but they can't remember who I am and what I like! I will be at the drive thru and before I order they will ask me if I want my usual! Now that is great service! read more

whenever i get coffee from this location the workers always make it taste like dirt water. like every. single. time.

With the unfortunate demise of the last Starbucks, Mequon has a new and improved Starbucks. This is just like pretty much every other Starbucks except for the interior is probably one of the more interesting among Starbucks sites. I am not going to go across Yelp and rate every Starbucks I have been to, but this place is an interesting visit for a Starbucks regular and I just had to put that out there. read more

The managemant at this starbucks has gone extremely downhill. I used to be able to order the same exact drink every day and get it exactly the same every single time and now it's like I never know what I'm going to get. The simple vanilla iced coffee I ordered today was disgusting. It wasn't even vanilla. Also, the employees here are so slow. If you're going to take your time to make my simple drink, then at least get it right. The old crew here used to be fantastic and now all the people there have no idea what they're doing. I'm definitely not going to come back here anymore. Very disappointing. read more

Great location! Great coffee and lovely baristas! This is always a good Starbucks stop.

I prefer drive through method, cause it's convenient and fast. Well, it's supposed to be.. One time I was waiting in line way too long. I guess it would be faster to make a purchase inside. Another time they messed up my order, and I had to wait while they redo it. Not too pleasant experience. read more
