Staff was very friendly. Walking in as a teenager alone and felt safe and welcomed. I loved my drink, it tasted good, with lots of flavor. I liked the seating area so I could wait for my drink :)

My boyfriend and I stop at this Starbucks several mornings each week before work and we are always pleasantly greeted by the staff and treated with our coffees quickly. Every employee has an awesome attitude and we have always received our correct drinks. Also, shout out to Dakota! He made the BEST soy flat white I've ever had and gave us such happy vibes!

Best starbucks drive through in the entire Milwaukee area. These people either really enjoy their job or drink a lot of coffee... I get there as early as can be before work and they are always in a good mood. Consistent to the letter with their drinks. And for how backed up the drive-through is, you don't ever wait very long. You feel like you are at a NASCAR pit stop when compared to other starbucks drive-throughs.

Lisa was friendly and offered to assist me, but I was not in for a long shopping day that day. A day or two later, I used some of the tea and was greatly impressed, so much so that I made the trip from my home on the southside to Mequon to get a 4 ounce bag of it. My husband joined me on the trip and picked up some high-quality cinnamon. This will not be our last trip. Hope to see you soon, Lisa! Make sure you have the time to peruse all of their wares and if you have a moment you can sit in a comfy nook to check out The Food Network. If I have the time, I'd definitely check out their spices and get inspired for my evening meal. Next time, I plan on trying the sweet onion sugar as a glaze for my next ham. The hubs was impressed with their salt and pepper selections.

The host was quick to put our name in and hand us a beeper that would alarm us after a 10-15 minute wait. We were sat in a booth with menus, including one for seasonal specials. Honestly, I always love choosing from that menu because it means something new. Opted for a cup of their chicken and white bean soup to start, along with the farro salad which was delicious and statiating. Loved the overall flavor with the added crispy green beans, olives, and light dressing. Service is always speedy here too! They clearly work as a team to be a well-oil machine. I have been here twice for breakfast now and just love the classic and cozy ambience - There's lots of windows so it's always sunny and welcoming. This past time we went with our kiddos and sat in a booth. They shared a mickey mouse kids pancake which was HUGE, thank goodness they shared haha no way would either of my kids (3 and 5) consume that on their own. I got their quiche of the day which was delicious, and my husband got one of the scrambles. Large portions, good quality food, and a no-frills ambience that gives you a timeless cafe feel.

Date of visit: January 11, 2026…read more The latest edition of our monthly bakery stops brought us to Interurban Coffeehouse, the rare Foxtown outlet that doesn't actually have "fox" in the name. Points for the name, borrowed from the nearby trail and surely eliciting squeals of delight from the old school train crowd! Front of the house staff were very friendly and patiently explained the different pastry options on offer--many of which looked amazing. First we went with breakfast; my brioche egg sandwich was quite good though my husband found his english muffin sandwich to be bland and unremarkable. Unfortunately, their food system needs some work. I ordered the sandwiches for dine in with my name. The kitchen staff prepares the orders, hurriedly mumbles a name on their way out of the kitchen and unless you are standing in the right spot to hear him, you don't know if that's your order or not. Making matters worse, our food was prepped to go. Staff did offer to plate it, but it seemed silly to also dirty dishes and plastic containers so we declined the offer. The pastries are really where Interurban shines! I had half of my husband's cinnamon roll three days later and it was amazing. Like Costco cinnamon roll amazing. And my roasted pineapple cheese danish was phenomenal the next day hot out of the toaster oven! I was going to take a picture but I devoured it before my wits were totally about me, so you'll just have to take my word on that one.

It's a nice space, with seating both inside or outside (a covered patio with overhead heaters for chilly days). There are plenty of tables for groups of different sizes. Lots of natural light from the large windows. Along with coffee, and beverages, they have a selection of pastries and cookies. Got a friendly greeting from both the cashier and barista. Ordered a London Fog Latte (little lavender, little vanilla, extra foam), and a Chocolate Croissant). The barista did a great job with the drink (steeped the tea and left the bag in), great foam on top. The croissant was fresh, tender, and flaky. With just enough chocolate filling. Overall it has a relaxed feel. With one exception. There is a television. Not of a fan of those devices. And although it has a nice selection of pastries, they were missing scones (IMHO). It's nice enough that I would stop again.

She's worked on this particular sourdough starter perfecting its makeup for a little over 5 years! And to make sure that the kitchen is always performing at the highest quality and speed, she's always 20 steps ahead in terms of prep and early mornings. I got a peek inside the kitchen after I heard all about their nonprofit mission and you could see the creativity popping and the drive to support some of the fellow employees was apparent. Oh, did I mention there's an art studio space, too? As if they aren't doing enough, they host art and little workshops like the popular "Art and Baking" for kiddos in the Fall.
