First we went with breakfast; my brioche egg sandwich was quite good though my husband found his english muffin sandwich to be bland and unremarkable. Unfortunately, their food system needs some work. I ordered the sandwiches for dine in with my name. The kitchen staff prepares the orders, hurriedly mumbles a name on their way out of the kitchen and unless you are standing in the right spot to hear him, you don't know if that's your order or not. Making matters worse, our food was prepped to go. Staff did offer to plate it, but it seemed silly to also dirty dishes and plastic containers so we declined the offer. The distinguished Head Pastry Chef, Tara Forosisky-Benito, puts all her passion into her baked goods and breads. She's worked on this particular sourdough starter perfecting its makeup for a little over 5 years!
