Obviously, I'm not the first one that's had a bad experience here after reading all of the other reviews, but it seems like nothing is being done to fix these issues, so I will speak on my experience as well. First, I ordered a Caribbean jerk chicken wrap and a kiwi quencher smoothie, but wanted white chocolate added to my smoothie. Well, they were out of white chocolate, no big deal, I went without it. Sat down and waited for my wrap. When my wrap came, it was completely whole, not cut in half like it is at every other tropical smoothie I've ever been to, again, not a big deal, just annoying. So I asked the girl to cut it in half for me. Keep in mind, I had to open and close the door to make the entrance bell ring to get their attention because they were already all sitting in the back playing on their phones when I came up to the counter. So then, I took one bite of my wrap and knew that something was wrong. I thought maybe there wasn't enough sauce on it, so I asked for a side of jerk sauce and waited. The girl starts looking everywhere for the sauce, can't find it. She had to go in the back to get it out. Well, I'm looking into the kitchen, just waiting on my sauce and another girl at the counter rudely interrupts the customer that is already placing her order at the register and asks me rudely, "Do you need something?" I was flabbergasted. So I just said "just waiting on a side of sauce" and she rolled her eyes at me. So I get my sauce, put it on one bite of my wrap, take a few more bites and all I taste is peanuts. Come to find out, they put Thai peanut sauce on my wrap. Then, I look a bit closer and it was missing the pineapple salsa as well. If I had a peanut allergy, it would have been a HUGE problem, but I don't, so I politely went up to the counter and asked if they could remake it with the correct sauce and they did. But again, they did not cut the wrap in half. So, again, I had to ask them to cut it in half. As I'm waiting, others are coming in to order, asking for generic smoothies and they are out of almost everything the customers were asking for. Never again. Hire some new employees. read more

On May 19, 2020 I placed an online order for two smoothies at this location. When I arrived I experienced the worst customer service ever! One, no one greeted me nor acknowledged my presence. Two, The smoothies appeared to be less than full, as they normally are. When I inquired to have the smoothies topped off, I received teeth sucking with an attitude. I requested to speak with the store manager, Kylie, only to receive the same type of attitude. I was taken aback because as a store manager, Kylie, you are suppose to set an example for your employees. I proceeded to ask for the store owner's information because at this point I no longer wanted my smoothies. Kylie tried to ignore my request until another employee directed her to where the store owner's information was placed. I was given his card and tried to contact him. (The store owner's name is Curtis Williams). I noticed that Kylie was able to reach him but I had no success until about 20mins later. Mr. Williams response was very nonchalant, as I explained to him of what had occurred. So I took my complaint to corporate. Matter resolved!!! Also, with this pandemic you would think the store would have safety measures in place. Not one employee wore a mask, not safe distancing outline as you see other places! The teens that work here clearly do not know the importance of professionalism. Was walking up to the store and all the lights were off besides the kitchen at 8pm, no open sign, no cafe lights, and no one in sight, yet their sign said open until 9pm. After saying hello a couple times we were greeted by eye rolls and impatience while we were deciding what we wanted to get. We shrugged it off and didn't think too much of it. We told them they should turn some lights on to make it aware they're open and the girl who took our order had said, "Oh wow, the lights are off? I had no idea! I guess we forgot to turn them on." From previous trips here though, even in the middle of the day, cafe lights are on, and the open sign is lit as well, but no big deal. We ordered and my friend had asked for no tomatoes on both of his sandwiches, and when our order was brought over to us, he looked in to double check and only one had tomatoes. So he went up to the counter, waited a couple minutes to get service and another girl had come from the back and asked rudely what was wrong. He told her, and she walked away to the back and yelled, "(Anna or Brittney, can't remember the name) get your bitch ass out here!" Seriously? The level of unprofessionalism was ridiculous. When the girl who took our order came out, she rudely asked what was wrong, and so he had told her. She had then grabbed the sandwich, sighed and then threw it away aggressively. When she was done making it she walked out and threw it on the counter and went back to her coworker and started complaining. I don't usually write yelp reviews, but this one was needed. We get it, accidents and mistakes happen, but you chose how you react. Cursing up a storm and acting like we were the biggest inconvenience to come into your store is not how you react. So with all that being said, hope you guys do something so this doesn't happen again, reconsider your staff and make a change, because they're going to drive your customers away. read more

I clearly should have read the reviews before coming to this location. I order Detox Island Green smoothies all the time from other locations. There's no juice added and it's sweetened with the fruit and ginger making it the only smoothly I can have. After picking up the smoothies and tasting it, it was clear that it was way to sweet and no ginger. I called the location. The woman who answered was very unfriendly. She explained to me she made the smoothie herself and there was no sugar, and that it was probably the pineapple juice. I get this exact smoothie all the time, and it never tastes like this. We stop in here on occasion when driving through and in the mood for a smoothie. The location is right off of Rt17 and I95, so it's easy to get to as we drive home. The staff is friendly and the menu has nice, creative items on it. The restaurant is clean. We haven't been since they had the bad press about hepatitis though. read more

Came in on a Saturday afternoon with my wife and kids. Took over 45 minutes to get our food and smoothies. During this time, 3 customers cancelled their orders and asked for a refund because it was taking so long. As customers poured in, the shop started filling up since food/smoothies were not coming out of the kitchen. They were out of multiple smoothie ingredients and also ran out of full size smoothie cups so we got 2 kids cups per smoothie. Food tasted fine when it finally came out. Service and management need a serious overhaul. read more

I have visited this location several times and I'm finally writing a review because enough is enough. Walked in and all 3 young employees were hanging out in the back on their phones. After a few minutes we were finally greeted, no big deal as it gave us time to figure out our order. I ordered the island detox and my husband ordered a wrap. A couple minutes passed after placing our order and Paige returned starting "oh, they just told me that we are out of spinach and kale" and she kind of chuckled. No big deal, i ordered something different. I received my smoothie and we continued waiting for my husbands wrap. SEVERAL minutes passed, two more customers entered and their orders were taken. Paige returns to the counter after placing my husbands wrap ONTOP of the microwave, removes ONE GLOVE, takes a customers order, and proceeds to handle cash with both hands, one gloved and the other ungloved. She returns to retrieve my husbands food with the same glove she just handled cash with I tried to stop her but she had her dirty gloves all over my husbands wrap before i got to her. I requested that she remake the wrap and she tried to defend her use of the dirty gloves saying "i took one glove off." While her statement was correct, she still handled the cash with both hands. Even after all the things I've heard about this location; even it being shut down by the health department I still decided to spend my money at this location! Nice little place to have lunch! This is a typical TSC (a bit smaller than their typical size) with typical TSC offerings. Smoothies are well made and delicious. Sandwiches, flatbreads, and salads are freshly made and healthy. Staff is nice as is the owner often working behind the counter or in the kitchen. All in all a nice place to have lunch. read more
