I have been so impressed and happy with the service I have received so far from Dr. Mita and her whole team. I randomly found the office on yelp when searching for a dentist with more flexible office hours. Most offices are M-F 9-5ish, which is right when I'm usually working. I was also glad to see that I could set up an appointment online without having to call. I made my appointment on my lunch break at work and received a call from them shortly after, but I was unable to answer at work. After the missed call they sent me a text instead. I love that I was able to resolve the issue without having to wait until the next day when I could call them back. Dr. Mita has been so professional and so kind every time I have encountered her. I ended up needing a root canal and they were able to open early just to take care of me. Even after a number of hours of being worked on, the pain after was very mild. I don't have any fear of the dentist and I have a high pain tolerance, but I still enjoyed being able to watch Netflix during the procedure. It makes the time go faster and it was less boring. That said, I had my initial visit and met with Dr. Mita two months ago and I just had my first deep cleaning here. Their service was superb and everyone in the office made you feel welcomed. My cleaning was done by Angela and from the beginning till the end of the cleaning, she made sure I was well taken care of and informed me the process step by step. Aside from that, she is very professional and took her time to clean my teeth. I can even see the difference between the side that was cleaned vs the side that hasn't been cleaned. I just got home from my first visit with Dr Mita and wow, it was like no dental experience I've ever had in many great ways! First of all her office is absolutely beautiful and extremely clean. It looks like something out of an interior design magazine. While this is not super important to me when choosing a dentist, it was such a relaxing and inviting space that I felt comfortable right away. I didn't realize what a difference it would make in my overall dental experience. Making my first appointment was so simple. I called the office and automatically received a text to make an appointment online. I liked that I can pick from a calendar of available dates and times that would work for me without having to bother someone by asking to check different days/times. From there, I was able to complete an online patient form so that once I got to the office, it was completely paperless! The best part of course is Dr Mita and the wondering, exceptionally caring service that she provides. I've never had a dentist spend so much time with me to discuss my teeth and overall oral care. We had a pre-care consult and a post-care discussion where she shared a lot of useful information and care tips. I've honestly never disliked any of my past dentists, but I didn't realize that dentists spend more than 5 minutes with you if you're just going in for a routine visit. There are also strategically placed TVs on the ceilings so that you can watch YouTube or Netflix while your teeth is getting cleaned! It helps pass the time so much faster. No one really likes going to the dentist. The typical dentist appointment for me is sitting in a crowded, windowless room with bad lighting, like in the movie Beetlejuice. Then when I finally get to see the dentist they proceed to tell me how bad my teeth are, how I don't floss all the time, how I should watch what I eat, how I should call my mom more, and how I should be going to church every Sunday. 4 hours later I am running out of the exit and forgetting to go to the dentist for years. Dr. Mita at Trooth and Smiles is the complete opposite of all my past experiences. First off, the office is in a nice shopping plaza right next to a brewery so you can calm your nerves before getting your teeth cleaned if you are into that. Once you walk inside you have bright natural lighting with a simple and modern design that is at the same time cozy and inviting. You can tell a lot of thought was put into the design of the office. As soon as I walk in I am immediately greeted and a few minutes later Dr. Mita comes out to say hello. She gave my son a tour of the office and we walked into the meeting room. Here she takes her time to get to know you and your dental history. She is very thorough as she tries to get to know who you are and how she can better help you. The examination and cleaning is as good as it can get. Comfortable chair, Netflix and headphones, blankets if you want, I could fall asleep. Dr. Mita is once again very thorough with the cleaning, gentle when she needs to be and very attentive to your comfort. Once it is all done, she will go over anything she discovered during the examination without the judgement. She gave the same attention and quality of care to my 8 year old son. He even enjoyed it more than the pediatric office we used to go to. We are so happy we found a dentist that we can look forward to going to! read more

I have nothing against Dr. Mita. She was very friendly and professional. I, however, think that the front desk lady is very unprofessional. She refused to provide me my dental record and referral to a specialist, which was directly suggested by Dr. Mita. I was assured that I would be sent a digital copy of my dental record and referral via e-mail. After reaching out to that same front desk lady multiple times, I was constantly assured that she would send it to me within the next day. Now, it has been a month since I requested my referral and records. My husband and I are so blessed to have found Dr. Jethwani. We both had multiple issues going on with our teeth and have had bad experiences with other dentists. Would recommend. I visited here after getting a second opinion on a root canal and was way different than previous recommendation. My previous mentioned that I would have to get root canal AND crown, however Trooth & Smiles said they could do the work no crown needed to be done!!! I was very nervous walking into the dentist for the first time in far too long, but Dr. Mita immediately put me at ease. We started my visit with a sit down in an office rather than a dental chair. I loved having the opportunity to really explain my situation, history, and hopes for my treatment. Dr. Mita made me feel heard. I could tell how she worked to make accommodations for me throughout the appointment based on our conversation at the start of the appointment. She clearly cared about my comfort. I felt that Dr. Mita was honest and upfront. She kept me updated about what she was seeing throughout my exam and even showed me my x-rays and pictures to explain what she found. As I expected, for my situation, I will need a treatment plan. Dr. Mita included me in that process. Rather than dictating what needed to be done first (something I have experienced at other dental practices), Dr. Mita made suggestions and allowed me to voice my thoughts and ask questions. What was most important to me, though, was the positivity and kindness throughout the office. Looking at my mouth, x-rays, and pictures, Dr. Mita could have easily focused on all the negatives and things that needed fixed, but she didn't. She went out of her way to find positives. The whole office was kind and reassuring throughout the visit. I have never had anything positive to say about an experience at a dentist, so I am glad I found Dr. Mita and Trooth and Smiles. I've been a patient for about 2 years. Having just moved to the area, the thought of finding a new dentist was something I definitely wanted to put off indefinitely. I had been to a few in the area with not so favorable results. After about 1 year of delay, I decided that I had to get a cleaning and check up so I showed up. Originally, I had thought that, because of my past experience in OC, I would find this business to be all sizzle and no steak; a common finding in my experience. To my surprise, Trooth and Smiles exceeded my expectations by providing quality care. I had been to dentists that load up unnecessary procedures which left me searching for a second opinion - my teeth are in pretty good shape. That wasn't the case. Wash procedure was explained and I was given time to think about it or ask someone else. I found the service to be overall excellent. The staff was particularly helpful when I did require a minor procedure. I remember Tamara being exceptionally helpful with appts and keeping me up to date with reminders. I always refuse the appt card and have had to reschedule several times and she has always been helpful and easy to work with. Dr. Mita is always willing to explain any recommended procedure. During my visit, I was welcomed as a new patient and had the pleasure of a "meet & greet" with the person who was going to get very up close and personal with my mouth, the Dentist, Dr. Mita. I had never experienced this before. Usually these appointments are cold and impersonal. Not here, the office setup is nothing short of a spa visit for oral care and the welcome very warm and personalized. I got to know Dr. Mita and she took the time to get to know me and understand my concerns. After that, once she got to work, I did too! I laid back, looked at the TV on the ceiling, and put a movie on Netflix to entertain myself while I was under good care. Post the dental work I was in need of, the Doctor took time to explain the condition of my oral hygiene and general health. And then I got a dose of "trooth". I was shown and explained the impact of not flossing regularly to my gums and teeth. Rather than make me feel bad about it, I was encouraged to immediately start proper care to improve my oral hygiene. The doctor generously took the time to demonstrate and practice how to properly floss. I had my initial consultation with Dr. Mita on Tuesday. I have never had a more thorough consultation with any doctor before, let alone a dentist. She evaluated my teeth and gums, as expected, but she also noted some other aspects of my mouth and throat that could be contributing to insomnia, and is ready and willing to team up with my primary care physician to create the best treatment plan for me. The office is warm and inviting, and so very clean! They have invested in the most up-to-date equipment to help Dr. Mita get a complete look at my head, teeth, throat, gums, etc., contributing to her ability to make the correct diagnoses and treatment plans. First time patient here. My experience was great! met with the Dr first as she wanted to get to know me and what my concerns were. And then proceeded with my X-rays and general cleaning. I forgot his name but the dental assistant/technician (I hope I'm getting his profession correct) but he made my visit more comfortable. I don't really like dental visits but I know we have to go but he made sure I was comfortable and even asked if I wanted to watch Netflix. I opted not to watch TV so he suggested to play some of my favorite music. And he did!! Had some good laughs and I think that's what's important...just making the patient feel comfortable and at ease. My husband is next so I can't wait until he tells me what he thinks. read more

This is the best experience my husband and I have had at a dentist in our adult lives. (I say "adult lives" bc my dad was a dentist when I grew up, so of course I always had a good experience with him lol). But holy moly, we finally made the switch AND brought our toddler for his first dentist experience and we could not have asked for anything better! Every person we encountered throughout our appointments from the front desk, to the hygienist, to the Dr herself were fabulous. They were kind, thorough, and asked thoughtful questions to get the full story of our dental history. And most importantly, they made an awesome first experience for our son. Dr.Mita had our son lay down in her lap like we do at home in order to make him comfortable while getting a good view of his teeth. (A way better idea than having him in the big normal dentist chair.) They also let him pick a show to watch on the tv that's on the ceiling so he was perfectly content while she was doing her exam and brushing his teeth. Came here along with my wife as a new patient. The office is really beautiful and clean. The staff helped us to understand our insurance benefits for what' was cover for our annual benefit. The dentist first started with a consultation in a separate room which was really nice because I felt like she really took the time to listen. The exam and cleaning felt thorough and good. It was my first time going to a dentist where I could watch Netflix on the ceiling and they gave me headphones as well.
