I highly recommend this class as an intro to this training company. I believe they are amongst the top in the country when in comes to tactics that actually work and keep you alive. Mike starts out with the philosophy of the Warrior Mindset and then shows how every aspect of life should be approached with this mindset. The class was worth more than the money, and the smaller class size helped personalize each person's training for where their skill level is currently at. We shot targets for an hour and it was amazing because we enjoyed learning new things and I was able to show my family some techniques that they don't know as they don't go to gun ranges to try out new pistols in New York City. My reason for the 4 stars is... it just would be nice if the staff would offer a quick little safety reminder of Tips to people. Even start just some basic guidelines on the rules of the facility, not necessarily how to shoot a gun, but how to be safe in the space; that way, you don't have to be spoken to, but more importantly, it would be a nice addition just to feel more comfortable. Finally, the gentleman who checked us in was attentive, knowledgeable, and a delight. I would definitely do this more when I have guest come from out of town who have never had this experience.

My wife came out of the class much more comfortable handling, loading, and shooting her pistol. The class helped me with my accuracy by giving me a few directions. Kevin and Lance gave a very good classroom portion shoeing the importance of gun safety and general knowledge. He taught him how to take apart his gun and what the parts were called. My son loved working will Gil and learned to properly stand and shoot a pistol and a rifle as well as hand grips. Gil also taught me things I didnt even learn in my CCW class. He is very patient and knowledgeable I would recommend him above the rest as he is very detailed. We were also offered snacks and drinks! John was very thorough and he drilled in the basic tenets of firearm safety. They also learned the ins and outs of range safety and most importantly, how to handle and discharge a handgun. The range work was awesome, as they had the opportunity to fire off between 60-100 rounds each (9mm) and became familiar with sidearm handling characteristics, such as grip, weight, balance, and recoil. They entered with absolutely no knowledge of firearms and left with the confidence that if needed, they could load, handle and discharge a handgun safely and with purpose.

The facility itself was really nice--clean, well maintained, and professional. They also had a great selection of rental firearms, including some options that I don't normally get a chance to shoot back home. I also thought the pricing for the range, rentals, and ammunition was very reasonable, especially considering the selection they had available.
