Chris Reynolds, the owner, showed up and did an excellent job. He took the photos of the solar panels and the roof. He also took his time to answer all my questions before he began his work. He educated me about the cleaning process and how the panels and the roof can be damaged by the droppings if they are not cleaned timely and properly. When Chris completed the work in 8 hours, he again took some photos of the gutters and solar panels ensuring that there is no damages caused by him. I was impressed with his professionalism. His work exceeded my expectation by being thorough and attention to details. He made sure that the area around the house is clean upon the completion of the work. It was honestly a relief to see that he cleaned out what had to be more than 20 years of gutter gunk. That is not a technical term, but it should be. It was no big deal and I agreed to the higher price, but the technicians came to do the work with the lower price. Again, no big deal, but still confusing because it's not clear what I'm paying and price should be clear (especially if you are pre-writing a check). I confirmed the time of my appointment on several occasions which made it confusing when my technicians arrived an hour later than they should have and I had to ask for an ETA on their arrival. I suggest rather than committing to an exact time, provide a range and flexibility. That way customers can decide if that range works for them. Being on time and providing status updates if you're going to be late is a professional curtesy especially for customers on tight timelines. The cleaning was done nicely, but I did later notice spots in corners that were missed (i.e., behind doors). The front porch area was cleaned, but then the technician blew leaves back on it. They do answer their phones unlike other competitors that you just cannot seem to get ahold of no matter what. However, their power washing is a lot higher price than other competitors. Unfortunately I don't have time to have them come back out and fix anything they might have missed. I'm strapped for time as is. I'd work on communication, attention to detail, and leaving the place clean. Also, consider putting before and after pictures in some sort of written professional document like a PDF you can leave with the customer same day with a receipt before you leave.

We have done clear lights as well as the holiday style (red, green, white) and get compliments each year from neighbors and passers by! (We like a clean aesthetic so I don't know how much styling they can do if you like to be extra on your display, so you'll have to ask!) They are easy to schedule, very communicative, and get the job done in about 2 hours with a crew of about 4 dudes. They also do free maintenance in case a bulb comes undone due to heavy weather! I had my solar panels and power wall battery installed around March 2025. Sometime around September…read more2025 when I checked my Tesla app, it was grayed out my power wall was off-line. I contacted Citadel and let me tell you it's been going on almost 6 months and they still have not resolved the issue. I actually had to reach out to Tesla directly for them to confirm that I'm not crazy. It's not a Wi-Fi issue. There was a ground fault error. I relayed this information to Leslie and her supervisor Bernice. They sent a technician out to check on my battery who also contacted Tesla. You would've think the next time they sent a technician out it would be to go on top of my roof and check all the wiring but instead the same technician came out and again checked the battery and contacting Tesla. Then I was informed they would need two technicians to come out and go on top of the roof and lift all the panels checking all the wires to find where the exact issue is. Obviously, I knew that so I was confused as to why this technician was here a second time only looking at the battery. Weeks later, they sent two technicians out today, January 27, 2026. They go on my roof and they did find an issue in one of the lines however they could not complete their job because they didn't have an MCI. They also didn't have the time to lift all my panels since it's late in the day. All of this should've been noted in their system so that their technicians would have been informed on what was needed. This issue has been dragged out for months. It's now only being "escalated" --because who knows if they're really going to do anything to speed things up and get together and fix all the problems. These things aren't cheap. It's an investment. You would think they would do better when there's so many other solar companies. Go somewhere else. Not worth the headache. I hope the owner sees this review and something actually gets done. I shouldn't have to post a negative review or ask for things to be escalated.

Any home renovation project has bumps, and this one had its fair share: after initial install they monitor the systems production remotely to see if it's doing what it's supposed to/expected to, and my system was initially under-performing. They caught it and sent out a team to problem solve it, which took a couple tries, but they didn't drag their feet, they kept on it and kept at it and got it resolved. It was no fault of theirs, just a technology glitch. Core fear was that they would give up after a couple failures and leave me following up with them to get it done, but I never had to worry about that. I also did not end up liking where they placed the control box- it was something that was going to make future maintenance of my house trim problematic down the line. They willingly moved it up a few inches for me (and my only complaint was the team that did that didn't patch the original hole as efficiently as they should have. If I had understood the box placement better on the first pass that would never have happened, so this is a bit of a complaint of my own making.) Jon Landsman, who sold me the system, stayed with us the whole time tracking the project, checking in, and following through on every detail, every question, every concern. He never made me feel like the demanding diva that I am, was always prompt and gracious! The bottom line is that start to finish, even with a few bumps in the road, I have zero question that this is a company that legitimately cares about doing what is right.
