My house had original 30 year-old Milgard window's and I prioritize quality over price. Oleg was able to get out to me right away, he sent me a quote and we initiated the order. When the windows arrived and weather permitted, his team came out to replace the cheap windows and slider my GC put in and they did a fantastic job. Everyone at Kot's was so great we requested a quote for replacing the rest of the windows in the original structure which were installed last week. The whole team was fantastic to work with from start to finish. I had a lot of quotes, some cheaper but none with the level of integrity and pride in their service that I found at Kot's. Thank you Oleg, Daniel, and the crew.

They were very honest, respectful and professional throughout all of our interactions, and they were on time and had the glass replaced with in the amount of time that they said it would take. I am not only paying for a price of replacement glass but service as well, they are professional, responsive, honest and knowledgeable, and that's what I'm paying for. I will be keeping there number for future service and I recommend you do the same.

We contacted several businesses, but not many of them were willing to work with city permits. Tasha took full ownership of this for us and did a great job. She was also very good about communication and was proactive in keeping us updated on the process. We also appreciated the transparency throughout. The final project team who came to our home were also a great bunch of guys who all seemed to have worked together for a very long time, and did a solid job. We got exactly what we were hoping to get from this project. Would highly recommend Tasha and her team for any door or window installation and GC work.

I reached out to a few different window providers, and R&L Windows was one of them. R&L reached out to me in record speed. They provided a quote which BEAT the GC's quote, and even followed up with me directly on my phone via text messages (which I really loved). They were incredibly communicative (in the best, most respectful ways - not overbearing), and listened carefully to exactly what I needed to ensure nothing was missed. I can't recommend R&L higher. Fantastic people, fantastic products, fantastic service, and world-class communications. My wife and I didn't replace all our windows, but if we need to upgrade or change any in the future, R&L will be our first pick. STRONGLY RECOMMEND!

Before installation, they carefully cleaned and polished both sides of the glass, handled it with exceptional care, and achieved a perfect fit. What was once simply a bar top has now become a protected display of memories from a very special chapter of my life. The glass is so clear it almost disappears, allowing the collection to be enjoyed while preserving it for years to come. From the prompt response and excellent communication to the precision of the installation, every aspect of the experience exceeded my expectations. Derek and Aaron clearly take pride in their craftsmanship, and it shows. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for custom glass work. Kirill and his team replaced a dozen windows…read moreand 2 sliding doors for our home, including a breathtaking 15-foot slider for the living room that made our dream a reality and completely transformed our waterview home (see photos). It's now been 10 months since completion and we've experienced zero issues whatsoever, which is testament to the quality of the work. From the start, Kirill was responsive and responsible. His bid was competitive, and he was extremely detail-oriented. Since we wanted to order our own windows from Dunn Lumber, we had multiple conversations to ensure the measurements were exactly right. His thoroughness paid off -- all the windows arrived exactly as planned, avoiding delays or returns. During the installation process itself, Kirill and his crew (Ivan and Ivan) were always on time, courteous, efficient, and professional. They may be the ONLY contractors we've ever worked with who finished within the timeline that they laid out. Overall, we really enjoyed working with Kirill and would 100% recommend him to anyone looking to replace windows or doors. It would be nice if they also offered finishing services, like drywall touch-up and painting, but the quality of the work that they do specialize in is absolutely impeccable. Don't think twice about hiring Cascade!

Ivan and his team arrived on time and completed the install, replacing the exterior window and the interior door trim to match what was installed (but with better quality). Ivan was even able to address our misaligned original window trim. Now our drafty house feels sealed and quiet, with a noticable decrease in the time the heater is running. Kirill was responsive to any questions and worked with us to resolve a misunderstanding of weekend scheduled work. Ivan, Roman, and Teras were all attentive to our interior and made a point to clean up afterwards.

This was by far the lowest quote we got but it was that and the professionalism that made us choose them. The crew was great - fast, efficient and very, very skilled with Hardie board siding. They kept us informed and communicated well when there were questions or decisions to be made. I highly recommend Energy Exteriors NW and when we need to have our windows replaced, we will definitely be contacting them for the work.

My husband and I hired Energy Exteriors NW for a Milgard sliding door installation, and months…read morelater we're still dealing with the fallout, both from the door itself and from how the company has handled it. The install, twice: The first crew (7/30) installed the door with the frame out of square and the handle missing a part entirely, so it couldn't latch, rattled constantly, and had an inconsistent gap against the frame. They also cut out the old door and frame without putting down any protective sheeting, so concrete board dust (a fiber-cement material containing silica, an OSHA-regulated health hazard) covered the interior of our home, especially our kitchen. When the Project Manager inspected the door the next day, he confirmed the frame was installed incorrectly and promised to reinstall it properly. The second crew came back to redo the frame and reinstall the door (8/03), and while removing and replacing the trim and frame, they damaged our exterior siding. Erin offered to send her own crew to fix it, but after what happened during that reinstall (below), we didn't want any more of her installers in our home, so we're handling that repair ourselves. The incident: During a follow-up visit (8/04) to address ongoing problems, I pointed out that the door still wasn't right. One of the installers snapped at me in our kitchen: he shook the door hard, smirked, and yelled "YOU DON'T LIKE THIS?!" at me repeatedly, then suggested he could just remove the security lock if the rattle bothered us. My husband told both installers to leave. Ownership's response: We called immediately. Owner Erin didn't call back until later that day and showed no real concern. She followed up with a lengthy, polished email questioning our account of the incident, since our home security camera only captured the outside of the house, as if that meant what happened inside couldn't be trusted. It's a telling response from someone whose installer had just screamed at a customer. Where things stand now: Milgard has since come out to inspect the door as a warranty matter, and confirmed that the rattle and stiff latch are common on a large, custom 7.5-foot slider like ours (something we were never told when we ordered it), and that there's nothing more to be done about either one. The scratch on the interior glass, which appeared during the first install, will finally be repaired next week, months after the original install. One more thing worth knowing: their contract includes a non-disparagement clause instructing customers not to post negative comments online. That kind of clause is illegal and unenforceable under the federal Consumer Review Fairness Act of 2016. Its presence alone tells you how this company intends to handle complaints. (Not a lawyer, but this is well-established consumer protection law.) If you look through Erin's responses to other critical reviews here, you'll see a pattern: she replies to nearly every negative review personally, and instead of taking accountability, she consistently questions or minimizes the customer's experience. That's exactly what she did with us. We wanted a door that worked like a brand-new door should, an intact house, and honest communication. What we got was a door we still have to fight with every time we use it, a house we're repairing ourselves, and a company that was never straight with us. Do your research before hiring this company, and think twice before signing a contract with a non-disparagement clause in it. You can save yourself a lot of time, headaches, and potential damage by hiring a company with careful and professional installation crews, and managers who aren't (seemingly) motivated by a compulsion to always be right, even when they are demonstrably in the wrong and making mistakes left and right.

As of today (two months later), I am still waiting for two defective windows to be replaced in the kitchen. The front office phone reps were all great as is the service tech that has come out the last three times. I just wish I didn't need to adjust my schedule to accommodate all of these visits. Since I'm still waiting for the original job to be completed, I can't in good conscience leave a review better than two stars. 4/14/26: Windows were completed today.
