Front entry custom gate/door.

I've had the best experience with Triple B! They installed two custom yard gates and then a custom front gate/door on the front entry of my house. Not only is their final product high quality - but their customer service is exceptional. They helped me through the entire process, and they have been so responsive to my endless questions! I HIGHLY recommend this company! They go above and beyond and I'm very happy with the final results. Roderic and his team a amazing!

Triple B replaced my garage door as well as all of my gates. Their attention to detail and overall craftsmanship is excellent. Their pricing is reasonable and fair. They are a bit more casual, if you are expecting a really "corporate" experience look elsewhere, if you are looking for a hardworking small family business, these are your guys! Give them a call, you will be impressed by their work. My job had some delays due to weather as well as some mistakes made by their suppliers, but they handled the situation well and worked hard to make sure things we done right and that I was happy. Thank you Triple B, my house is one of the best on the block now.

Gate Latch

Our side gate was not functioning properly for several months. I contacted several gate companies and received no response. I finally found Triple B Garage Doors & Gates. They responded quickly to my online request and came out to give me an estimate within a couple of days. Rusty was great, he explained my options for the new gate & he even took the time to re-hang my old gate at no charge. It took about six weeks to get the new gate, but it was totally worth the wait. The powder coat they used matches my security door & I love it. Pricing & craftsmanship is excellent Thank you for helping with this project Christa & Jim P.

My tech, Evan, arrived on-time and got right to work. He only needed to replace the circuit board in the unit. So, I asked him why he was removing the metal bars that anchor it to the ceiling. "Because it wasn't done right when it was installed & it bugs me". He did that, at no charge, because he has pride in his work & the company he works for. Appreciated that so much because how else would I have known? Then Evan took the time to help us program the new remotes, apply lubricant, & look over everything to ensure both of our doors are working properly. Thank you, Apex, for treating us like family.

I hired this company based on their supposedly stellar reviews, but choosing them was a huge…read moremistake. The entire installation process was incredibly disappointing, and the final result is completely unacceptable. Here is exactly what went wrong: Unprofessional Timing: The installer showed up late, setting a poor tone for the appointment right from the start. Rushed and Careless Work: The installer was clearly in a massive hurry to leave and did not take the time to do even the most basic functional checks to ensure things worked as expected. Dismissive Attitude: They barely spent any time looking at my existing garage door opener before outright declaring it was "broken" and wouldn't work. Ironically, after they left, I was able to get it working perfectly fine myself after just a few tries. Improper and Unsafe Installation: The new door is completely unbalanced. If you manually open a properly installed door halfway, it is supposed to stay in place. Mine does not--it aggressively shoots all the way up. This clearly shows that the springs are not balanced or tensioned correctly. If you are looking for careful, competent work from someone who won't rush through the job, look elsewhere. I strongly regret trusting the reviews for this business and would not recommend them to anyone.

I called on a Friday morning, and the woman who handled the intake was incredibly friendly and helpful. She was able to get us scheduled for service that same day, which was amazing. Darren called before arriving to let me know he needed to stop at the gas station and even offered to pick me up a drink while he was there. How thoughtful is that? From the moment he arrived, he was professional, polite, and extremely knowledgeable. He carefully explained everything in an easy-to-understand way, answered all my questions, and made sure I felt completely comfortable with the work being done. You can tell Darren genuinely cares about his customers and takes tremendous pride in his work. We previously used Bullfrog before A1 took over, and I could not be more pleased with the transition or the entire experience. The service was prompt, professional, and friendly from beginning to end. Darren truly went above and beyond and is an outstanding representative of the company. If you need garage door service, ask for Darren Stringfellow. You will be in excellent hands!

A letter I sent with zero response... I wish I would have…read morelistened to my instinct when I learned the Military / Veteran discount wouldn't apply to for the zero cost trip charge. Should have known that a 73 year old veteran wouldn't''t matter. In retrospect... I felt like a target. Throughout the process, I was informed at each stage and notification of a defect that the repair would extend a "full lifetime warranty" through A1 Garage. The salesman asserted, "everything, the complete system." However, I have since discovered that this statement may not be entirely accurate. During the installation and the sales pitch, I was assured that the pricing and cost were comparable to those offered by the majority of garage door companies in the Phoenix Metropolitan area. I initially agreed to the cost of the garage door opener. Subsequently, the defects and the "marketing" tactics became apparent. What commenced as a $1,500 garage door installation transformed into a series of unfortunate events which they wouldn't state until the technician got to that point. Based on national pricing data (and Phoenix specifically tends to operate at the lower end for garage door work), here is how the invoice compares to typical market rates: Item I Paid vs Typical Market Rate Trip/Service Charge | $59.00 | $50-$95 (normal) *** Military Discount not applied. Was charged for the trip. A1 Garage charged for...LiftMaster 6690L opener, installed w/ accessories: $2,065.35 *The typical pricing in Phoenix is: $900-$1,200 installed (including keypad, extra remote, wall control -- same accessories I received) A1 Garage charged for.... Max Life double spring + drums + cables + bearing plates: $1,414.98 + $175.70 + $203.47 + $180.75 = $1,974.90. *The typical pricing in Phoenix is: $700-$1,200 for a comparable *full* premium (80,000-cycle) bundle including drums, cables, and hardware. A1 Garage charged for.... Shop Supply Fee: $204.96 *** Typical pricing Usually a flat $10-$30, or a small percentage -- this is unusually high A1 Garage charged for....Total $4,105.46 *** Typical pricing $1,650-$2,500** for equivalent work Bottom line ... Based on these ranges, I paid approximately $1,600-$2,450 more than a typical fair-market price for the same opener and spring/hardware package -- roughly 60-140% above what comparable full-service installs tend to charge. A few specific points that stand out: - The opener alone is priced at more than double what other installers quote for the same 6690L with the same included accessories (2 remotes, keypad, wall control, battery backup). - Springs, cables, drums, and bearing plates were itemized separately rather than bundled -- most shops quote these as one package, and even priced separately your total for that group is well above the high end of national ranges. - The $204.96 "shop supply fee" is a notably large flat charge; many companies either waive this or keep it in the $10-30 range. I wish I could have or should have had 1-2 competing quotes from local independent garage door companies. I did contact A1 Garage Door Service with zero response. Be careful... very careful... A1 Garage Door Service is 140z over priced comparable to other garage door companies....

He also recommended the metal end plates since they typically last 15 years and he said mine needed replacing. I accepted that repair and he suggested replacing the rollers but i declined that as it would have made it a higher cost than I was comfortable paying. I was happy they were able to schedule me on Sunday morning. The technician that came out worked under Ultimate garage door but affiliated with Olympus. Overall positive experience and very responsive owner. 5 years warranty on the springs.

Tuesday, nothing. Wednesday, I talked to 3 more people. Each time I'm told someone is on the way. The last one of them said I'd approved $600 in repairs. I asked him how I could have done that as no one has yet come over to diagnose the problem. He got huffy & hung up on me. Minutes later a woman called, said there'd been a mistake. Someone is coming "right now" to help you. Later, another call from her, no one can come until Thursday. On Thursday morning I get a call at 8:45 am from a guy saying he will be leaving a job soon & he is an hour away. 4 hours later I decide to give up on Olympus since they seem to be little more than a dispatch service & I'm tired of waiting. Based on what I told another company I called, it was likely the circuit board that had failed. Most manufacturers only warranty the board for 1 year. I was given an appt for early Friday & reassured the techs carry the boards on their truck so I wouldn't have to wait any longer. Then, another call from Olympus. This man says he's 1/2 hour away. When he arrived, I explain the issue AGAIN. Told him I think it's the circuit board. This garage door "expert" looks me in the eye & lies. Says a circuit board cannot be replaced "no one does that". Then he lies again & says I need a new opener. It normally costs $1,200, but since I'm a "repeat customer", he'll do it for $600, LOL! The tech from Apex not only replaced the circuit board, he removed and replaced the stabilizing bars for the opener (for free) because "it's like he didn't know what he was doing" when it was installed. It's important to have a door that operates safely. Olympus wasted my time, my money, compromised our safety & lied to me.
