These people are amazing! I had to fix a tear in my coat and didn't have any other coat (and it's COLD outside). They stopped their work and fixed my coat, and charged me only $10 (I went to another cleaner before that who said it will take 3 days and will cost $30).. Their alteration service is superb. They can repair and alter any garment to make it fit better than new. Also put patches on wool sweaters that add to the look of the garment. I use them for cleaning, alterations, and laundry. I have always been totally satisfied. read more

First and last time coming here. Dropped off a pair of my white jeans for dry cleaning. Upon picking up they decided to up-charge me another $5 from the original amount of $10. Not only that but these jeans had leather on them which I pointed out when handing them over. They assured me the pair would be alright and that they'd do a good job. Upon picking them up, the dye has completely come off the leather and the leather was soaked. Since drying them out the leather has shrunken and is now as stiff as cardboard. These jeans were expensive and are now ruined. To top it all off the wouldn't even offer to give me the $15. Please save yourself the time, and cost of replacing your clothing, and go somewhere else. I am very disappointed with my experience here. I live across the street so it is very convenient. They come and pick up my laundry and dry cleaning at my apartment and drop it off. I have never used their dry cleaning services and used it this week. Before I left my dry cleaning with them, I called to ask where to leave it since I do not take it in to them. The employee told me to leave my dry cleaning in a separate bag in the laundry bag. When I got my laundry back I was missing one of my shirts and my other brand new shirt was completely ruined and shrunk down entirely that it could fit a baby. I called up two different times and all they did was yell at me and say it was my fault and I shouldnt have done that. They will not refund me any money or anything. I used to use them all the time and referred a lot of people there, but this will be the last time I give them my business. I have brought every dress there to be hemmed and spent a ton of money. Okay, I'm really not sure what the 1 star people are talking about, but everyone is entitled to their own opinion. And mine still stands that this place is excellent. Granted, I don't have them pickup my laundry, rather I drop it off, so perhaps that's were some problems arise. The only off putting experience I've had here in the past three years is that I had two pairs of shorts go missing from my wash-and-fold. But you can't really blame Triple A too much since they outsource all of their laundry to a third party (as do most of the places in this city). However, when I informed them of the missing items, they happily asked how much the items were and offered to give me store credit for the value. I have Gina hem and alter everything for me including slacks, jeans, dress shirts and coats. She has always done a wonderful job. And I actually just got off the phone with her to ask if a coat I brought in recently for hemming was done (as she had said it would be ready today). She said it was actually done a few days ago and she had tried to get it done sooner since the weather had been cold the past few days and thought I might want to wear it. I've NEVER heard of anyone in NY charging 30 dollars to wash a plain duvet COVER (just two sheets sewn together?!)...ESPECIALLY WHEN THEY RUIN IT.... My sheets came out with some sort of rust all over them, the duvet cover and the pillow slips...when I brought it back to them, they took no responsibility...and charged me a total of 46 dollars for washing 1 duvet cover and 1 sheet...I have no idea how this came out to 46 dollars....as I asked for regular wash and fold. Both were completely ruined so I left them there. Complete waste of money. If you need a GREAT place in this hood, I now use Hattan Cleaners. They are very nice and sweet. read more

I am not trying to ruin this place but I do want to make sure that people have the information they need. I used this place once to hem and taper 2 pairs of pants. My initial impression of the owner was that she had a bad attitude and was not welcoming. Nonetheless I decided to give them a chance because maybe she was having a bad day. I come back and I get the pants and they did a decent job, no complaints. I took them home and wore them but I realized that one of them was a bit to long and was still a bit to big. So I took that pair back and asked for it to be redone and brought in another pair because I felt bad that they had to redo 1 of my pants. A few months later (Today) I bring in 3 pairs of jeans to have hemming done and also brought in a 4th pair to use as reference. The owner says she will not work on them because apparently every time they work on my clothes they need to do it 2 to 3 times......(with an attitude). I value costumer service a lot and if a owner wants to start rejecting work just because they had to redo a single pair of pants once for free on the same work then I would not come here. Although either way apparently the owner wont even accept my clothes for altering. Its a tailors job to make sure they get the altering done right. I've never been to a single tailor like this ever. If you want to go for dry cleaning maybe they are fine but do not go for alterations. This place left a bad taste in my mouth. Never again. read more

I would give this place 0 stars if i could..i just moved into the neighborhood about 3 months ago. I started using this service because they come to my bldg every morning for pickups. The lady who manages the store that sits at the sewing machine is as rude as possible and will never take blame for anything. I have had 3 major incidents within this short spand and never received a sorry for the inconviences. Just got a nasty rude look and tone!!! I had about 14 shirts and 4 pair of pants go missing, and when i confronted them at the store they simply yelled at me and looked at me like i had 10 heads. I finally walked over with the surveilance tape from my bldg lobby and my super to show that yes they did take my clothes..and yes they did misplace them...the lady at the sewing machine still continued to blame me...and say i did something wrong!!!... and as for the post below...ive had several buttons damaged on suit jackets and shirts...and they will never fix for free...They will simply blame the customer and treat you horribly. "we dont make mistake, we good dry cleaner" "we have our system" well apparently the system doesnt work!!!!!! This is the first post i have ever written on here...and cant believe a store owner could be so cold.. . I work for a certain woman's RTW brand that caters to ladies who lunch. That said, when I get my allowance picks, most of all the dresses are a modest past-the-knee length. Apparently that's the length Marilyn always wore. Being no Marilyn, I need 4-6 inches lopped off my hems. My friend introduced me to Gina at Triple-A saying she had worked miracles on clothing for her previously, and attributing her innate skills to the fact that she's Italian. The first dress I brought there was something I described as "a dress a nun would wear to a funeral." Black with a white foldover collar and elbow length sleeves. It needed to be a micro mini. Gina pinned me up and we selected a new length, not quite micro mini but well above the knee. She tapered it at the waist too. "It's like a whole new dress" she said, satisfied. I've since brought her two more dresses to shorten and taper in the skirt ("this is more sexy"). I plan to bring my Rodarte for Target leopard dress in too, once I've found a nicer black nylon fabric for Gina to replace the too-tight cheapy lining in there currently. While I got fitted on this last visit there was a constant stream of customers, one who got a button affixed to his jacket as he waited and who was eternally grateful for the attention. There was also a couple complaining of lost socks, but the environment was always courteous, civil. read more

I've been using Triple A for 10 years now. Gina and her whole crew has done a fantastic job with my stuff. I used to go into drop off and pick up and now I just have them deliver everything. They've tailored my jeans. Retailored my suits. My experiences with Triple A have been consistently great. I work in a job where I'm in a suit 5 days a week and I've never had an issue with them cleaning my suits or shirts. I also send my regular wash and fold there and they've done a good job. My girlfriend, who was really shy about sending her undies to a dry cleaner, even has been won over with Triple A. read more

I used to come here when I grew up, and they always did very well for my family. I returned here after many years (I moved out of New York a few years ago) because my Grandmother passed and I inherited her clothing. My grandmother was a lot bigger than me but all of her clothing was high-end designer so I decided to see what could be done. The tailors worked wonders! All the clothes that originally made me look like I was wearing a bag (a beautiful bag but a bag nonetheless) now fit me perfectly. The pricing was very reasonable (I had 2 jackets and 5 shirts with the sleeves and sides taken in and shortened for $280 total), and they were done in a week. They also cleaned some of the clothes, and did an excellent job on that as well. In particular I had a white jacket and I got some dark pink lipstick on it. I was worried I'd ruined it but much to my relief when I picked it up a week later it was spotless! I definitely recommend them for all your tailoring and cleaning needs! read more
