Update...gel polish chipped all over after 2 days! Called them, they were super nice and re-did the whole thing (just the gel polish, not whole mani). Two days later it all chipped again. They are nice but need to stop buying cheap polishes. read more

I'm far from a frequent reviewer, but this place definitely earned it. I'd been growing out my nails for spring break, but the night before my flight, my middle nail broke off at the shortest point. All the other nails were still fabulously long, and I didn't want to cut them to match the sad short little middle finger nail. I ran to CP nails the next morning, and not only did they fit me in quickly without an appointment, but they also applied a dip acrylic nail just to the broken off one so that it matched the others! They only charged a few extra bucks for this- the whole thing was quite cheap relative to other places I've been to. The man who did my gel very graciously worked with my inability to make fast decisions with color, and even let me choose a different color after the first had been applied to my pinky and I decided it was too orange. It's been 1.5 weeks, and there's only one tiny little chip after a very adventurous vacation. I'm definitely coming back and would highly recommend the place. They seem to genuinely care that you leave happy and remain happy. read more

I had a pedi and a manicure today at college park nails. I can honestly say it was the best experience I ever had getting my feet and nails done. They were so gentle, polite, and clean. The staff was friendly and they paid attention to you and not each other. They took their time and did an excellent job. The room did not even smell like a nail salon. They take extra care and precautions to prevent the chemical fumes from getting into the air. I will definitely be a repeat customer. read more

First time here and I was really impressed. The staff was really sweet. It was quite in there. The gentleman that did my gel mani was great. He look his time and made sure each nail looked perfect. This nail salon is extremely clean and I have never had a problem getting an appointment. I usually call the day of when I want to go in and ask them what time they can see me :). I believe it is $25 for gel mani and $20 for a pedicure. You can find a nail salon that will give you cheaper prices BUT the quality from this salon is great. I have been looking for an affordable and clean salon for the past couple of months and I'm happy I've finally found it! This place was ok. It is clean and the pedicure seats are nice. However I only gave two stars for this reason: I chose a color for a gel manicure and a couple of colors were unavailable so I chose a different one. The color I chose was shimmery, but I didn't notice till the first couple of coats that the color they were applying was not shimmery. So I told the manicurist and he said don't worry I'll put the glitter coat on at the end. But that wasn't the issue, the issue was that they gave me a color similar to the one I picked but not the one I wanted. Maybe they didn't want to tell me that they didn't have the color I asked for in stock, but I don't like to be lied to because people are too greedy or inpatient. I would have been fine with choosing another color. I also felt that this place was mediocre and overpriced for what I received. So come here if you want to try it but pay attention to what they are doing otherwise you may end up with a color, shape or service you didn't want. *****Update! 6 days later my gel came off! And sooooo easy too. Before it came off the paint became dis colored. Not only that but my friend got a full set at the same time and the nails fell off her right hand completely! Highly recommend College Park Nails. I get my nails done by wither Johnny or Russell and my toes by Lily. The staff is very attentive, quick and professional. I've been a big fan of this spot! I usually just do a gel manicure and I can't stress enough how happy I am. Usually gel lasts anywhere from 2-3 weeks but when I get my nails done here I can almost go a full month without any chips. They also do have a great selection of colors. I usually make an appointment because it does get crowded even during the week, I usually get helped out by the same lady. I don't know her name, but she's quiet and very sweet to me when she does speak. I usually don't chat a lot either so it works for me. One of the cool things about this spot is that it has a rewards program, they give you a card to punch in every time you go and once its full you get $5 off! They even write on the back of the loyalty card the color you chose that day, in case you want to get it again you don't have to sit there guessing what color it was. I've been to ton of places and none of them do a loyalty card. I really recommend you give this place a shot but do make an appointment for faster service :) read more

Just had the worst experience here and will not be going back. Setting aside the fact that I was there for two and a half hours for a simple fill and pedicure. And let's forget about the fact that I was asked to wait even longer so that a third person could do the design I had asked for, because the girl that was supposed to do the design started working on someone else instead. (Why all of the manicurists don't know how to do designs and only one person there is capable of doing them is beyond me.) While getting said pedicure I was insulted when Russell, who was giving the girl sitting next to me her pedicure, said that she was lucky that she didn't have calluses like I do and nodded his head my direction. I was very insulted and made that quite clear when I paid and left, without the design I asked for because I didn't have half the day to waste there. Kind of sad that I won't be returning only because I filled up the stamp card that gets you $5 off but was told I could not get the discount until the next time I came. I let the lady up front know that would not be happening. Now I have to find another nail salon, fortunately there are a few million in the area. read more
