I am definitely going back!…read more What a great concept and of course amazing food. I would expect nothing less from the famous chef that's been on Food Network shows and is the private chef of the Bills!! Ordered the chicken soup and wow! It was fantastic also ordered the Jerk chicken w/rice and Rasta pasta w/chicken they were all the same. Melt in your mouth chicken that's seasoned wonderfully and melt in your mouth pasta with creamy sauce peppers and onions. The rice & beans were seasoned well with a side of plantains and cabbage. Took some flicks which is not like me but the presentation even in a to go box was great!!!! Everything was packaged so that I was able to leave and go back to work or stay and eat on premise. I'm so excited to have a Jamaican restaurant that has a good vibe, clean and has a great staff. So excited to go back and see what else this restaurant and the management have in store.

I got the half meal - jerk chicken with rice and beans and plantains. Full of flavor, spice and delicious. Staff was helpful and friendly. I'd say I waited about 10 minutes for my food. Plenty of spots inside and out to sit and eat, or take it on the go. I'll be back again soon!

Service- I'm BIG on service and the service at this family owned establishment is ALWAYS EXCELLENT!…read moreTo the point I feel like I'd probably have the same experience if actually visited Trinidad and Tobago. The FOOD- Is DELICIOUS Carribbean food. I love everything, the stew chicken, the curry chicken, the jerk chicken, and my favorite....the Trinbago Chinese Chicken. The patties are authentic and soooo good- Buttery, flaky (but not too much), great flavor and spice. I recommend all of them, but the curry and beef are my favorite. Lastly you MUST try the homemade drinks, no recycled store bought here. You haven't had Ginger Beer until you've had theirs. It's homemade and will clear you up in a good way...strong and sweet. The Lime is delicious! The Sorrel is like a cross between loganberry with a hint of licorice (and I don't even like licorice, but this just works). Sides are very good too. I like the Mac pie and the cabbage is on the tougher side but that works for me because I do not like soft cabbage. The restaurant itself is VERY clean and intimate. An upgrade from their food truck in ways that make me so happy for them and the community. I've been able to work here on my laptop while enjoying great food. Check them out. You won't be disappointed!

Finally got the chance to try Bratts Hill for dinner and eat inside, and I was honestly blown away…read more From the outside, you would never expect such a beautiful interior. The space is intimate with a bar, cozy seating, warm lighting, and a great vibe. They had the garage door open, we caught a beautiful breeze, and even got a view of the fireworks that night. The staff was welcoming, the music was great, and the overall energy of the place was unmatched. We started with the saltfish fritters and lamb ribs. The fritters had a nice crunch with a flavorful filling and paired really well with the sauce they came with. But those lamb ribs... easily the highlight for me. I don't eat pork and haven't had ribs in years, so this was such a treat. They were tender, juicy, and packed with flavor. The pickled cabbage on the side added the perfect balance. I could've ordered 10 plates of those and been happy. The oxtail ragu continued to raise the bar. A lot of places have you searching for the meat, but this was loaded with actual oxtail, almost more meat than pasta. You can tell this food is made with care. The sticky toffee pudding was the perfect ending. Warm spices, ice cream, and toffee [or butterscotch?] drizzle came together beautifully. It wasn't overly sweet, and I finished it before my friend could even get a bite. The chef even came out to introduce himself, and we had a great conversation. They also ended the meal with warm lavender hand towels, which was such a thoughtful touch. I already liked Bratts Hill, but dining in took it to another level. 10/10.

A friend was in town ...so why not dinner?…read more We decided to give Bratt Hill a try. OMG it was such a busy night. Anything ordered took a while before coming out. We all decided on something different and dessert was an absolute must. I wasn't the hungriet, I decided on lamb ribs , a side or rice and peas with gravy, the salt fish balls and for dessert I opted for the Brulee. I also tasted the toffee pudding. The ambiance was marvelous. The restaurant was packed and the wait staff was doing the absolute best. One of the cooks, Chris came out and chatted with us at the end of the night. He was eager to hear about our experience and expressed to us how sorry he was for the long waits. He mentioned Chef Darian being on Chef Ramsay's show and how that has made business pick up. The food was delicious , the flavors were authentic and I would definitely go back for another great meal. The restaurant was very clean and cozy.

All I knew going…read morein is that my friend told me they had the best pastelitos in Buffalo, and that I had to try it out. The pastelitos did turnout to be some of the best ones I've ever had. I got two plates to split, one with a chicken and one with a beef pastelito. The plates also include BBQ chicken, rice and beans, mac and cheese, and a side salad. The rice and beans were well seasoned and delicious, the mac and cheese was good too. But I'm definitely just going back for more pastelitos! LitosNY is on the back of La Nova, if I had just the address and not a tour guide I might have had some trouble finding it because their entrance is on the parking lot side, not facing the road.

I got two OG chicken pastelitos with a side of their hand cut fries; I also tried a Buffalo chicken. After I saw pics of their rice and mac & cheese, I wish I would have tried them. They looked sooo good! The fries were very soggy and I was disappointed. I'm not sure if it was how they were fried or if they softened due to the steam in the container. Either way, mehhh. However, the pastelitos were gooood. The OG chicken ones were tasty, although I was expecting potatoes & cheese inside. I totally acknowledge that this can just be my own ignorance, as I haven't eaten them in years. I really LOVED the Buffalo chicken; the flavors were consistent throughout the pastelito & there was just enough kick. I definitely plan to try this place again; the food was not bad at all for the price.
