Skillet Hash
Carlo G.

Cute and quiet little breakfast/brunch place in DeLand! Came here on a Thursday morning and it wasn't too crowded, so there were plenty of seats to sit at. You order at the counter and you get a number and they will bring your order to the table you sit at. I got the Skillet Hash and it was delicious! I ordered sunny side up eggs and they were perfectly cooked and cooked with cheddar cheese which was new to me and it paired well with the eggs. They were served over grilled bell peppers, onions, and mushrooms which were good but a bit too greasy. The bacon was standard and good. My favorite part was the thyme/dill home fries which were flavorful and crispy. I was a bit confused because I thought skillet hashes would have all the components combined together but the complements here were separated, but it was still good. For drinks, I got the orange juice which seemed like regular store bought orange juice. I also tried my friend's avocado toast and that was good as well! I loved the fresh avocado taste and the pickled onions which paired with it perfectly. The poached egg was also cooked perfectly. The servers were friendly and the interior and bathrooms were clean which I appreciated. There's also plenty of parking out front. I would recommend this place as a solid option for breakfast/brunch in DeLand and I want to try their coffee one day.

2nd time coming and won't be my last! Kind staff, indoor and outdoor seating, coffee was good and everyone that i've come with loved their meal. You can order to dine-in or to-go. You order up front and then they bring you your order once it's made. I'm excited to try their pancakes. And if you have time- Next door you can check out the cat cafe. I ordered the Breakfast sandwich ($8) with bacon (+$2) and it was perfect. The biscuit has chives & cheese- fluffy and not dry at all. Very good sandwich for the price and filling. My friends ordered the crunch wrap & avocado toast and they enjoyed their meal too! Nice breakfast and lunch joint. Since there's only one person working the front it sometimes takes a bit to get your coffee order. But i'm never in a rush when I stop by!

My husband and I like to look for new brunch spots on the weekend and we stumbled upon this cafe - the "cafe" part of the DeLand Cat Cafe - one Saturday. Trilogy Kitchen is a breakfast, brunch and lunch spot /cafe located in DeLand. This quaint cafe has minimal decor and lets the food and beverages steal the show. It was a little warm for my liking, but they did have fans on. Upon entering, you place your order at the counter and then grab a table. Your food is brought to the table when ready. My husband and I tried the biscuit flight (minus the bacon maple biscuit, which was sold out) and the ham and cheese panini with truffle chips. We shared both dishes. The biscuits are filling and dense. The flavor is on point, but I wish they were fluffier. The biscuit flight comes with an assortment of butters/spreads and I absolutely loved the strawberry butter! In regards to the panini, my husband and I agreed that it could benefit from added flavor - perhaps a spicy mustard or an aoli. Regardless, the staff was awesome and we enjoyed our visit!

Hey follow Yelpers/foodie, I'm back in action. Today I'm at Trilogy Kitchen and I must say in the Deland, FL area this spot is a bright light to the community. Their breakfast menu looks amazing. Even though I came at lunch time you can still smell the essence of pancakes and Maple in the air, with a mix of coffee. lol! This place is clean, as you walk in you can tell that they take Pride in what they do and the up keep of the establishment. In my time (back in the days) I worked as a inspector for restaurants in NYC, if this place was on my list from what I can see it is kept up up to par with an "A" rating. (In the front end from what I can see). The Storage area is kept organized, behind the counter is also kept organized and clean. With heavy rotation of customers, each table is clean as people come in and out for their own experience. I ordered a B.L.T and a Chi Latte from there Coffee mixologist Ally. They offer to go and also to dine in. The employees are very friendly and always gave a smile to each customer that came in and interacted with them. From my observation they even remember the names of their regulars. Oh and I can't for get parking. No need to look for parking or park on the street. Parking is provided on the property. Over all, great food, clean environment and a friendly face equals where you would want to be. To the owners of Trilogy Kitchen, please let Ally know she is a great addition to Trilogy and she made me feel welcome to come again and enjoy dining with y'all again for breakfast/lunch. Thank you to the kitchen staff also, the food was great. P.S. They have out door seating also, and affordable prices.

Had breakfast here with my family and was thoroughly impressed! There is plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. The service was quick and friendly. The coffee was delicious and the food did not disappoint. What more could I ask for? The fried chicken sandwhich was delicious! Highly recommend.

2 egg breakfast with buttermilk biscuits and beyond sausage patties

Beautiful restaurant the ambiance is welcoming simple and to the point. The service was kind and friendly. I got 2 eggs scrambled with the beyond sausage Pattie's and a buttermilk biscuit. The sausage patties were a little on the salty side but flavor was there. They are known for their biscuits and the biscuit was okay. It's a more dense Biscuit not as fluffy felt like an English muffin/biscuit hybrid. I will come back to try some other menu items though. Overall I still left satisfied.

Cuban, chai latte, and fresh fruit

We went to Trilogy to have a little lunch and found some wonderful items to choose from! We had the smash burgers, fresh fruit bowl with huge sweet blueberries, club sandwich and a Cuban. Of course we had their wonderful coffees and teas. We were very happy with all our food and will definitely be back to this family friendly cafe! The service and ambiance were great also! They have outside and inside seating. Plenty of parking. Head by there soon and check them out.

Came over from NSB for a new restaurant experience. The staff was super gracious and friendly. I had the biscuits and gravy and oh my! To my surprise the biscuits was filled with cheese and butter. The gravy was the best sausage gravy ever! Now on the must visit again list.

two people working at the counter

I got the gram plate. I got the sausage gravy on the side because I couldn't commit. But now I find myself spooning the sausage gravy back on the biscuit. It is so so good. Yum Yum Yum. (The biscuits and gravy are all from scratch). My husband got a breakfast burrito and enjoyed that as well!! Friendly employees. Made helpful recommendations.

I hope this is the right location...it was not at a court house and it wasn't the drive-thru, but…read morethese photos don't look the same. The location I stopped at was in an outdoor strip mall and I parked in a big lot, not on the street. Nevertheless!! I am LONG overdue on this review! I stopped in for a coffee after wandering around Cassadaga one Friday. The coffee house's vibe was definitely Bostonian. I thought it was cute and clever! Both baristas were very friendly and helpful. Warm, actually. They didn't seem annoyed to be providing service..the way many baristas do at various locations. I had a long and productive chat with Diana, which definitely has management qualities. She is a visionary also, and we brainstormed fun ideas for the shop. No skin int he game for me; I just Ama natural born idea producer (they come so easily to me) and I'm always up for a chat about how to creatively expand small businesses. My order was GREAT. Definitely had a late, but also had a dessert. Wish I could remember what it was, but I do remember that I was very happy with my choice, which I was helped to make:) I wish this coffee shop all the best success!! Great concept. Will stop by anytime I'm in demand!

I've heard nothing but amazing things about BakeChop in DeLand (110 Artisan Aly, right in the heart…read moreof downtown), so I finally had to check it out--and wow, it lived up to every bit of the hype and then some! This scratch kitchen spot has quickly become one of my favorite places in town, and after our recent visit, my guests and I were all blown away. The food was absolutely amazing, impressing everyone at the table so much that we're already planning our next trip back--definitely going to be regulars from here on out. Everything is made from scratch with fresh, high-quality ingredients, and you can taste the care and love that goes into each dish. Their menu is creative and diverse--think insanely good hand-crafted sandwiches, burgers that are huge and perfectly executed (juicy patties on toasted buns, cooked exactly to order with complex, flavorful toppings), hearty salads, quiches, sloppy joes, and daily specials that keep things exciting. We tried a mix of items, and nothing disappointed; flavors were bold, portions generous, and every bite was packed with that homemade goodness. The homemade desserts and rocking sweets are worth saving room for too--they're the perfect finish to an already stellar meal. The vibe is cozy and welcoming--cute little spot with indoor/outdoor seating, great service that's attentive and friendly (staff makes you feel like family right away), and it's in such a charming part of Artisan Alley next to the brewery, perfect for a casual lunch, dinner, or just hanging out. They even offer delivery and catering if you want to bring that magic home or to an event. BakeChop is the real deal--a local gem putting heart into food, family, friends, and good times. If you're in DeLand and haven't been yet, stop waiting and go try it. You won't be disappointed; we'll be back often for sure! Highly recommend calling (386) 873-6524 or checking bakechop.com for the menu and hours. Keep up the incredible work, team! 1computeroutlet , 1websitenow

All the positive reviews led me here for lunch when visiting the city with my mom. This restaurant…read moresits in the heart of downtown Deland amongst alot of shops. There was a market going on that we enjoyed exploring on our way over to the restaurant. It's not very big on the inside but does have tables inside and out. The inside is open allowing you views into the kitchen area. I ordered the Allicin Burger which is a beef burger with french onion reduction, crispy onion straws, swiss cheese, and garlic aioli. The meat was very juicy and flavorful. I enjoyed all the onions. It made for a solid meal. The old bay potato chips were a good pairing for the burger. My mom ordered a more traditional burger and she liked it. I noticed the bakery item display and it had a good selection. I deducted 1 star for customer service. While the food was very good, the service did not feel warm. Our server felt very cold and was short with us. She never once cracked a smile and it almost felt like we might have been bothering her by just being there. I wish we had a friendly server because it would have made the experience much more enjoyable.

About 20 years ago, my sister told me about this place cause she worked across the street from it…read moreand she went there almost every day. Even though time and time again I wanted to go I just never pulled it for one reason or another. But the other day I went and I have to tell you. Wow , if you want a good southern meal with southern hospitality a country kitchen feel like your Mama's homemade cooking. Filled with love in flavor. This is a place to go. My sweet man had their meatloaf plate more food than you can shake a stick at. It was delicious full of flavor and perfectly ,perfectly balanced .Their mashed potatoes ,Remind me of my mom's. They are made the way mashed potatoes are supposed to taste. The meatloaf perfect ,the fried okra just absolutely amazing and the ranch dressing to dip the okra in better than bottled . Then I just had the simple soup ,simple soup my foot .I had their potato soup and the Angel ( I think I remember her saying her name was Chrissy ) who made it , well I have to tell you. I believe when you sit down to a meal, you begin to enjoy it by the aroma of the flavors in the dish this soup when it was placed in front of me teased my pallet just from the aroma with the first bite I knew I was tasting perfection. It wasn't over seasoned. It wasn't under seasoned it hit every point on the flavor scale simple but delicious and extremely satisfying. It filled my stomach and my heart with warmth ,flavor and satisfaction. Now let's talk about the service we were greeted with kindness and a smile each server that we spoke to did more with a smile and a kind word and making our experience worth coming to the restaurant. The prices are reasonable large amount of food you get .The staff is amazing.. The ambience is very country very homie. It just makes you smile. The only thing I have to warn you about is if you are handicap and you are in a wheelchair, the bathrooms not so easy to maneuver. I had to leave my walker outside the bathroom to go into the bathroom, but they make up for it with having handrails for you to support yourself which compensates for the size of the bathroom. so just be prepared for that if you're a handicapped. Coming to this restaurant the only thing I'm sorry about is that it took me 20 years to get here but trust me I will be a regular from now on. The cooking the ambience and the people reminded me of home and what I grew up with perfect experience all the way around.

It is your typical diner breakfast food. I got the eggs Benedict. They let me swap the Canadian bacon for regular bacon, which I thought was very nice.
