I've been to the main Trill Burger location before and even went inside. It's pretty far from me, so it turned into a whole little family trip. Ironically, I'm not a fan of the blaring music that makes me yell my order to the cashier, I never got around to reviewing that visit, but now we finally have a location on the North Side. I thought about dining in, but it had been a long day, so I went through the drive-through instead. I ordered the OG burger and fries, and my food was ready almost as soon as I got to the window, major points for speed. Everything was piping hot, so I waited until I got home to dig in... well, mostly. I couldn't resist snacking on the fries, and honestly, they were better than I expected. The seasoning reminded me of Mama noodles seasoning, which, if you know, you know. Sorry no pictures of the french fries, I couldn't eat and snap pictures Once I made it home, I tried the burger. It was good, but not mind-blowing. I actually felt a little guilty for finishing the whole thing, lol that's a me problem. Lots of talk about this being the best burger in Houston and now that it is in Spring, it was a no brainer to head that way. Lines have finally died down making the trip palatable. The decor is bright and cheery. Lots of merchandise available too in sunny yellow and black. The dining room is bright and the staff super friendly. The burgers are good. Smashed and nestled between two soft buns. Crispy and covered I. Some grilled onions and with their secret sauce (I will opt out next time, detracted from the burger). But the best in Houston? Finally made it to Trill Burgers now that they've opened in Spring, TX! I decided to go inside instead of using the drive-thru, and I'm glad I did -- the service was quick and efficient, and my food came out hot and fresh. The burger is more of a smashed style, which I actually enjoyed. I'm not big on sauces, so I asked for them on the side, and that worked out perfectly for me. The fries were a pleasant surprise -- thick and crispy, just how I like them. The ambiance inside was nice, clean, and had a good vibe. I have been waiting to try Trill burgers since it opened in Houston. I am so delighted that they opened one closer to where I can finally try it. The inside decor is absolutely amazing from the color to the aesthetics. The burgers were delicious and well seasoned. The trail sauce is really good. The smashburgers are really good and so are the fried. They launched the trill lemonade and the strawberry lemonade was pretty damn good and very fresh! Combos range around the $15 mark. They have vegan options which I think is excellent. Will definitely be back and happy to have another fast good option in the neighborhood! read more

Burgers at Trill Burger are amazing!!!! Service was also fantastic. This was our first visit to Trill so we weren't familiar with the menu. Staff (Darryl I think) took the time to explain everything. Food came out fast, hot, and fresh. Keep in mind this was 30 minutes before closing and we didn't feel rushed or unwelcome at all. Also, my daughter got an Arnold Palmer which had hand squeezed lemons in it and might have been the best Arnold Palmer I've ever tasted. Music vibes in the restaurant were on point as well, but could have heard a little more UGK!!! We will DEFINITELY be back to the Louetta location based on the fantastic service and amazing quality food!!!! read more

I couldn't wait until Trill Burger finally opened in Spring, Texas. First, I loved the music, vibe, color scheme, and artwork (clearly bit off of Bob's Burger cartoon on one mural) inside of the restaurant. Today was opening day so it was a lot of people but it was extraordinarily hot inside, and it wasn't just because of the crowd size. I would suggest looking into the AC and ventilation. Now the burger....I mean....it was alright but it wasn't the best burger I have ever had. It was almost to the point of being too salty. Smash burgers are supposed to be well done and these are definitely that but in my opinion too well done. The fries were cooked and seasoned well. The Trill Sauce was likened to In and Out burger sauce but it's seasoned differently and lacked flavor (as did the burger...lacked seasoning outside of salt and pepper). All in all, I give it 3 Stars. The staff was nice and polite. This is a once-a-year spot for me. The Strawberry Lemonade alone pushed this review from two (**) to three (***) stars. First impression...it was more expensive than any other drive through burger place. Trill Burger is clearly a fan favorite, and the quality shows. The ingredients were incredibly fresh, and the pickles had that homemade touch that reminded me of something straight from a southern Meemaw's pantry. Everything about the burger was well-made and thoughtfully prepared. It just was not to my personal taste, as I am not a fan of onions. Visited the spring location since it was closer. The original location was always hot and fresh. If it's raining don't go thru the drive thru u will get wet. It's not covered. Worker in the drive thru was very nice but our food was cold not fresh. Will not Visit this location again. I wanted to give this place a good review. My husband and I are here from out of town and my husband was super excited to try this place. We purchased two OG trill combos with strawberry lemonade and an Arnold Palmer totaling $47.43. The burger was just gross! I couldn't even finish mine, the fries were cold, the strawberry lemonade left much to be desired, the Arnold Palmer was decent. Maybe we should have gone earlier in the day. We decided to try it since it's been open a few weeks now... and we are one and done. Burgers are tasty, but $8 tasty NOT $16 tasty-- on par with an in n out double double animal style. I'm a fries person -love them more than the burger- and these were a complete disappointment. They are coated with that battering that keeps them crispy longer but detracts from their flavor. I didn't even finish them. Parking lot is tight for the traffic and disappointed they use Martin's buns... no matter as the price was far too steep to return. read more

Just came from Trill Burger. $37 later, we left totally unimpressed. The crusty edges where the real flavor should be on a smashburger had absolutely no flavor. The burger was not properly seasoned, but in the end, that really didn't matter. The combination of the overly sweet grilled onions, the thick-cut pickles and the patties drenched in that awful "OG sauce" completely overpowered the burger. We didn't taste any beef at all. The wait in the drive thru wasn't bad. Around 10 minutes or so. Customer service (initially) was great. Burgers were an 8/10. A little on the small side for the price, but I digress. I'd try it again without the pickles. Fries: 10/10. Almost the star of the show if you ask me. Drinks: they have fountain drinks and Trill Lemonades that come in 3 flavors (regular, strawberry, arnold palmer, 32 oz, $6.25). We ordered the arnold palmer. Took a sip and tasted nothing but water. Couldn't taste the tea or the lemonade. So I take it inside and let the guy at the register know that it was watered down and asked if I could switch it out. He goes to the fridge and pulls out a strawberry lemonade (pre-made: already in the cup, WITH ice. THAT's why it was watered down). He hands it to me and LOUDLY tells me I won't be able to swap it out again. Now mind you, I can totally respect the fact that I wouldn't be able to get another, and I honestly had no intentions of getting another one, after seeing that they make them ahead just for them to turn into a watery mess. It was just a little unnecessary and slightly rude for him to even say it like that. Whatever... I'd go back. I'd just get a fountain drink next time cause there is nothing Trill about those lemonades. Especially for $6.25. For that price, you can't be serving them to people like that. We ordered delivery to home twice with trill burgers but I haven't been inside this location yet . The burgers have great seasoning and flavor, you can customize it if you don't want caramelized onions, pickles, aioli sauce or cheese. The pickles in the burger and the sauce is really good. The meat has so much flavor in it. I got the OG combo which is burger with fries. You can also order the fries extra crispy if you want. the burger and fries come in a cute yellow box with trill burger logo on it. The packaging is so cute. Burgers and fries are pricey but I do think it's worth it. I'm not a burger person and if my husband orders burger or we go out to get burger then I will usually opt for seafood or a chicken burger. This place actually made me crave their burger. My son who doesn't like burgers in general said he gives it a 10/10 . He ate almost all of his burger which means yet it is that good.
