Great local spot for wood oven pizza. Spacious, clean and fast service. Loved the fact that they offer take and bake pizzas and carry Marianne's ice cream.

The pizza is incredible! The crust is awesome, and the pepperoni pizza is Amazing! It's so perfectly cooked, and the pepperoni is the tiny type and is crispy on edges with a really good red sauce. Best pepperoni pizza I've ever had. And the ambience is nice, with really nice staff and some cute cards and toys. I would definitely recommend this place!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I stopped here a few weeks ago and finally got around to posting my review. This pizza place just opened up their dine-in option, so I decided to stop in and grab a couple of slices. It has a very hipster vibe inside. There are sofa chairs to sit on. Unfortunately, there is not a restroom to use (or at least that's what they told me). Their slice/square pizza is out under a warmer and put in a convection-heater apparatus. I got a pepperoni & a cheese slice w/ a salad a lemonade. The pizza was a little soggy and not that warm. Maybe if you get a pie it might be different. The lemonade was spectacular. Would I come back? Maybe. Price: $19.75

Tricycle is fantastic! Artisan-style pizza with clever and oh-so-tasty combinations, good crust (not too thick and not too thin). I am not a pepperoni person but when I saw Spicy Vodka Pepperoni....too intriguing to pass up so I did not. It was fabulous! Just spicy enough. Yummmm. Don't miss the Pizza of the Month. I didn't know about this phenomenon until I was picking up my order and it was too late! Gave me another reason to go back the following week. Mmmmm Mexican Carnitas pizza - amazing! I remember wanting to go by when they had that food truck on Lighthouse and David but I couldn't keep track of their schedule. Now they are in a location closer to my house (maybe too close for my own good). I am only sad that I waited until recently to try Tricycle. I keep thinking about all the pizzas I could have been delighted by.

The pizza was solid. We ordered a small pie for 2 people and it was enough for two people. The small pizza is the size of a Blaze or Mod pizza. The pizza felt fresh and flavorful. It had a good crust. I will definitely return to try more. The ambiance is super casual. You are served on paper plates if you dine in. It has a lot of seating options but surprisingly no bathroom for customers. Definitely more of a takeout spot. If I lived close by this would be my go-to neighborhood pizza shop.

I loved Tricycle when they operated out of a truck and had the location on Lighthouse and David in Monterey. So sad when they gave up the location, but fast forward a few years and they have a new storefront on Fremont in Seaside with a lot more options. I really like their new spot. It's bright and open with a bit of indoor seating for those who prefer to dine in rather than take out. There's space for their merchandise as well as the salads, treats and frozen pizzas they also offer. They are now open for lunch as well. Hours are Tuesday through Saturday 12-7:30. New offerings to the menu are the square pizza which has a lighter fluffier crust and the garlic pillows (addictive). The square pizza is offered by the slice at lunch only. There is always an interesting flavor of the week. This is truly some of the best pizza in the area in my opinion! If you've not tried them, go! Plenty of gluten free and vegan options are available too!

Ordered vegan margherita again last night and ate it in the car soon as we got it!! OMG good got better! The crust was just perfect when its warm. Although room temp was still good but brewing warm just made it even more delish! Another thing I love about this pie is that the amount of sauce, cheese is perfect! And lastly, the amount and placement of basil (that wasn't burnt! Hello Blaze?) made this pie even more perfect; if there is such a thing.

Camera is a bit deceiving. You'll see how tiny it is when they had this slice of paper they call pizza. Shame I can't get the 15$ back.

Are they closed, one food website said permanently closed?

    They're open.

Are the pizzas customizable in any way? Like onions, meats, bacon, or other things not listed in the individual descriptions? A version of 'create your own?'

Did not see a 'create your own' option on their online ordering so most likely no.

Gusto is one of the few truly scratch-made Italian restaurants that specializes not only in pizza, pasta, and sauces, but also features an old-school brick, wood-fired pizza oven. Hell, they even make their own mozzarella! They have not only caught the eye of locals and Yelpers, but have also managed to earn a recommendation in the current Michelin Guide. The Good: * Private parking lot, as well as street parking. * Fabulous service from Alex! * Prices are very reasonable considering the food quality. * Local beers on tap. * Strawberry Prosciutto Salad (seasonal special) was fantastic! Who knew strawberries paired so perfectly with salty, cured prosciutto and pistachios? This might not be on the menu all the time, but if you see it, get it! * Complimentary focaccia was unbelievably soft and delicious. As if it couldn't get any better, their olive tapenade served alongside it was equally delicious, making for an unbeatable duo. * The Margherita pizza is the ultimate test of a pizza restaurant--and they passed with flying colors! It's so simple that if something isn't right, it'll be easy to spot, but everything from the homemade mozz to the slightly charred crust and the delicious sauce made this the perfect pie. I give it a score of 3.14159265359...! The Meh: * Meatballs were a touch too tough and could've been a bit more tender. They were still fuçking delicious, so honestly, who cares? The Ugly: * Despite the name, Seaside isn't the most glorious place, and this location is downright sus AF. Conclusion: Maybe one of the best meals so far of 2026. If you have any doubts about coming here, relieve yourself of them and get down here posthaste.

It's a cozy, family-owned business. When we arrived, there was only one woman working and doing absolutely everything--taking orders, prepping, and baking. Another person eventually came in to help her, but we honestly felt for them! Despite being understaffed, they were kind and hardworking. We were so hungry that we forgot to take photos (rookie mistake, I know), but the pizza was phenomenal. We ordered: Classic Pepperoni: Perfectly greasy and crisp. BBQ Chicken: Great tangy sauce-to-topping ratio. Curry Chicken: The standout! Super flavorful and a nice twist on traditional pizza. They do not skimp on toppings which was great. It took about 30 minutes to get our food. Honestly, for a small family shop where they're making things fresh, that's not bad at all. If you're in a massive rush, be mindful, but the quality is well worth the half-hour wait. Bottom line: Support this local business! The food is great, the people are hardworking, and it's a perfect spot to refuel.

There is informal, in-door seating but it looks more like a take out place, though the prices are more high end. The reason for my three star is that the pizza ultimately was bland and most importantly the crust was undercooked. It's a pretty thick crust and ours was doughy; I had to recook to make it more firm. There wasn't much sauce and it had no flavor. The toppings seemed fresh and it is possible their Eastern pizzas are more flavorful, so if you are looking for that you should give it a try. But if you want a more traditional Italian or 'West' pizza, there are better options.

This is an update/reply to owner on 4/1:…read more I think your reply to me here is making matters worse. You're refusing to take accountability for the fact that you hired an individual who is extremely obnoxious, mouthy, and disrespectful to a customer who is having a problem due to a combination of factors - one being that you closed early on a weekend night, and the other being that a third-party service is failing to do a good job. A third-party service I might add who you have chosen to do business with. As a small business owner myself, as you pointed out, I can assure you, I will never hire a person and allow them to work at my front desk who has the audacity to treat customers as rudely as your employee did. The largest offense here was the behavior of your employee and that is the one thing you have failed to address. There are solutions to the problems you were having - one is as simple as writing a note on your door, letting your customers know that you've chosen to close early that day. Another is refusing to do business with a third-party who is making matters worse rather than better for your business. But the most important thing here is having the care And attention that is required to not hire people capable of being so rude to your customers. Your employee did not make that offer of a pizza until we pointed out that he could have done something better to address the situation rather than giving mouth. But the point here is, we did not want pizza at that time. We wanted the night before when we were in a jam, and by that point, our trust in the food at your store was completely shattered. Because if a person makes a decision to hire someone that is so rude to customers, they may also make the decision to hire a cook who spits in your food. And anyone who fails to understand or address the unacceptable behavior of their employees when it is necessary is indeed a one star establishment. This is an update: A person from Pizza My Way called me a day after I posted my original 1-star review. She was friendly and helpful, and ultimately refunded the $40. I appreciated that. So I brought my review up to 3 stars. However, the situation was seriously unacceptable. Businesses have a responsibility to hire people who are going to treat customers with respect and who are capable of responding to problems created by decisions of the restaurant and their policies. This was a stressful experience and my wife and I walked away feeling very disrespected and initially $40 poorer with no pizza and no solution. The young person working for them has no business treating customers who pay a whopping $40 for a pizza that way- and his behavior being tolerated makes it impossible for me to give the restaurant another chance - so I cannot give an honest review of their food only their service. Maybe if someday I get a call that they have let said employee go they can regain my trust and I'll give them a try because their right up the street, and perhaps I can become a regular customer since I'm so close and they can get a higher rating from me. Originally posted 5/15: Worst pizza experience on the Monterey Peninsula by far. The place just randomly closes on a Saturday night well before their posted closing time. I order for pick up, spend over $40 for one large pizza which is absolutely crazy. I mean other people might think that's normal but I think that's crazy. That doesn't matter. I was in a jam and I had to get my kids some food and was not able to get back home and cook because of an emergency at work. In any case, I pay for the pizza online and then I called to confirm and there's no answer. I call multiple times. I show up to the store in person at around 8:35, 25 minutes before they are supposed to take their last order, and the whole place is dark. The next day, I am assured by the person I speak to on the phone that I will be refunded. Later on that day, I double checked to make sure that's true and it looks like they withdrawn the money from my bank account. So I called back and the person I speak to on the phone refuses to give me their name, they take absolutely no accountability for the situation, and offer absolutely no solution. So I spent $40 on pizza I never received, I was completely unable to get the attention of the manager, and my wife, and I both had to endure rudeness, extreme rudeness from their staff. When I walked in to restate my reasonable request to no avail, the person on staff was recording me on his phone. I don't get it. I'm the customer and I've already spent money and I still haven't received any product from them. It's nothing personal. When you're closing well before you posted hours on a weekend night, when you've got some cockamamie ordering system that you've built into your website, when you can't be accountable to your customers that spend money or even polite, you deserve the bad reputation that follows.

He was literally standing right in front of me behind the counter. After completing the phone order, the worker immediately turned around and walk back towards the oven when another worker started lecturing him on what he was doing wrong. I walked out. I really really wanted a Round Table combination pizza. They may be the last honest pizza, but they have crappy customer service.

This is truly one of the worst restaurants I've been to. The customer series is horrible! He just started yelling and degrading the poor worker. No one should be treated this way! The food was decent and nothing special. I will never return to this place. And I honestly I don't think the verbal abuse the workers are experiencing will change. Avoid this place at all cost.
